But there have been many Indonesian cultures that have been claimed by other countries. The low understanding of Indonesia’s young generation towards culture is one of the problems faced today. Therefore the young generation needs to be reintroduced about its culture. The lack of learning media makes students’ motivation in learning culture low. This study aims to: 1) conduct an analysis of the students’ lack of interest in Indonesian culture, and 2) see the need for cultural media as planting cultural characters in the 4th grade. This research uses descriptive quantitative method which describes the low awareness of students towards culture. The subject of this study was 4th grade students at SD N Triharjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Teras berjumlah 28 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Pada penelitian ini keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi dengan membandingkan data hasil tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan reduksi, penyajian hingga penarikan kesimpulan disesuaikan dengan langkah-langkah Polya. The learning device functions as a guide in carrying out the learning process in the classroom. Javanese language teachers in SMP in Karanganyar Regency, in general, have been aware of the importance of renewal in developing and implementing learning tools, in accordance with the applicable curriculum. However, in reality there are still many teachers who do not understand, even still find it difficult to arrange learning tools, so there are still inaccuracies in the learning tools. Training on the preparation of learning tools for Javanese junior high school teachers, especially in Karanganyar Regency based on the applicable curriculum, was felt to be necessary. To support the effectiveness of training activities, it is necessary to innovate in its implementation. One model that can be applied is the tutorial model, with peer tutors and providing feedback. The purpose of implementing the activity by applying the model is that teachers can exchange knowledge, experience, and strengthen cooperation between peers, so that they can provide input and correction if there is inaccuracy. In addition, through giving feedback teachers can find out firsthand the deficiencies in the learning implementation plan that they put together. After applying these methods the ability of Javanese junior high school language teachers in developing learning tools in accordance with the curriculum can be increased. Students in Indonesia in the digital era are now using gadgets in their daily activities both at school and outside of school. However, most of these students use social media applications, especially Whatsapp, only for social media, whereas in the application, there are benefits that can improve digital literacy skills. The purpose of this research is to find out: 1) the use of whatsapp as the digital literacy media of students and 2) the digital literacy skills of students in terms of language skills. The method used in this study is to refer, note, and study the literature. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The main problem obstacle when building students’ character in Civics learning based a local culture is a large number of teaching teachers who have difficulty in making students become more active in learning process and can implement lesson material. The purpose of this research is to develop an effective model of development and management of Civics learning based on local culture to be able to improve the learning outcomes of Muhammadiyah Boyolali Elementary School students in Central Java. The method used in this study is a research and development approach whose results are qualitative. The results of this study are the development of Learning Implementation Plans that integrate the local culture with Civics, which is done by 1) incorporating local culture according to Basic Competencies (BS), 2) developing indicators in order to achieve BS, 3) formulating learning objectives, 4) developing learning materials that are relevant to local culture, 5) developing learning activities that will be carried out, and 6) developing assessment tools that can measure the level of quality of the local culture of students. This research is a qualitative research that produces descriptive data in the form of words, written or oral from people and observed behavior. Data collection techniques carried out by in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using an interactive model of analysis. The results showed, first, the principal was the most instrumental element in improving the quality of education and learning. Learning leadership at SMK Pelita Bangsa Sumberlawang Sragen is carried out in 3 dimensions, namely through the formulation of school missions, good learning management, and building a conducive school climate. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penerima tindakan adalah siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta 3 kelas, yaitu XI TPM D, XI TKBB, XI TKR A yang berjumlah 90 siswa dan subjek pelaksana tindakan adalah peneliti dibantu dengan guru matematika. Metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif dengan model alur yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada siswa kelas  IXB SMP Negeri 1 Boyolali pada Semester 1 tahun 2018/2019. Jumlah siswa dalam kelas ini adalah 28 siswa yang terdiri atas 6 siswa laki-laki dan 22 siswa perempuan. Siswa diberikan perlakuan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model Project Based learning berbantuan media Powerpoint dan setiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Proses pembelajaran pada siklus I dilakukan dalam kelompok besar yang terdiri atas 7 siswa, sedangkan proses pembelajaran pada siklus II dilakukan dalam kelompok kecil yang terdiri atas 4 siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitianadalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Pengumpulan data melalui observasi danstudi dokumentasi. Untuk validasi data, observasi tidak dilakukan oleh peneliti sendiri, tetapi juga berkolaborasi dengan siswa dan teman sejawat, serta dengan menggunakan teknik tes. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif komparatif yang dilanjutkan  dengan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa melalui penggunaan model Project Based Learning berbantuan Media Powerpoint dapat meningkatkan sikap jujur dalam mengerjakan tugas dan hasil belajar Bahasa Inggris materi Procedure text bagi siswa kelas IXB SMP Negeri 1 Boyolali pada Semester1 tahun 2018/2019.
