In this needs analysis, the researcher describes the data obtained from the questionnaires of students and teachers who teach Arabic subjects with 39 respondents. This study indicates that Arabic teaching materials in Indonesian Foreign Schools, especially in Arab countries, need to be developed. Developing Arabic teaching materials with multicultural values is very important to make learning Arabic at Indonesian Foreign Schools easier, more effective, fun, and produce Indonesian diaspora students who have a spirit of nationalism and respect plurality. The development of these teaching materials is manifested in three aspects, namely (1) related to Arabic language teaching materials based on the values of national character education by learning objectives and contextual with the times; (2) aspects of application technology, namely by developing Arabic teaching materials equipped with multimedia learning media such as audio, video, animation, and others to make it easier to learn; (3) aspects of character education, namely Arabic teaching materials that contain character education values, such as religious values, nationalism, honesty, independence, cooperation, integrity, hard work, and responsibility","PeriodicalId":55722,"journal":{"name":"Alsinatuna","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69218391","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Ahmad Muthahar of Mranggen Demak. There are several reasons that made KH. Ahmad Muthahar translate a lot of Arabic grammar books. These include: book writing movement was an academic culture that had long been built by Arab scholars and scholars of the Archipelago, to maintain and preserve the Javanese language literature written in the Pegon script, and to make it easier for the santris (students of the pesantren) and the public to learn the rules of Arabic. The sociolinguistics approach is used for this study. This study is a library research, the data of which were collected through listening, surveying and note-taking method. The data were analyzed for their content (content analysis). The study found that KH. Ahmad Muthahar’s efforts to vernacularize the Arabic grammar in his books include: vernacularization of the grammatical symbols in order to understand text structure, vernacularization of the I’rab narration, vernacularization of the particles of the Arabic letters, localizing the change of meanings caused by changes of word forms (morphology).","PeriodicalId":55722,"journal":{"name":"Alsinatuna","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44510891","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These findings are the result of a form of a qualitative study. Interviews, observation, and documentation are employed to gather data. The data sources for this research include various informants, the implementation process of the online Kallimni program, and al-Azhar course institution papers linked to the online Kallimni program. When it came to analyzing the data, the researchers followed Miles and Huberman's recommendations to reduce the data, visualize it, and make conclusions. Using WhatsApp and Instagram, the online Kallimni program could well be implemented. In this online Kallimni program, the learning is project-based and themed. The online Kallimni program included both motivating and stifling features identified by the researchers. As a result of this study, teachers and students must engage in conversation to master the speaking skill (mahÄrah kalÄm). Teachers should thus use additional technologies as Google meet, Zoom, or Skype to help students learn speaking skills (mahÄrah kalÄm) more diversely and visibly.","PeriodicalId":55722,"journal":{"name":"Alsinatuna","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46617230","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Likewise, the form of syaż or anomaly that has been formulated by the experts is inversely proportional to the number of fluent texts as the main barometer of language rules. Therefore, this form can be accepted in the term of qiyasi and sima’i. This study aims to examine the anomalous methods in the book of Ḥasyiyah Sabban Syarḥ Asymuni from the perspective of prescriptive linguistics (manhaj mi'yari). The detailed explanation is presented in the form of a thematic study of nahwu á¹£arf . The results showed that the justification of the nahwu sharf anomaly only focused on the syahÄ«d /text whose source was unknown, enabling the consensus of nahwu scholars following Baá¹£rah mażhab. The form of the anomaly reinforced by the fluent syahÄ«d is not the same degree. This rule is not anomalous because it comes from an eloquent source, but it should not be used as a standard in formulating rules because there is no general qiyas.","PeriodicalId":55722,"journal":{"name":"Alsinatuna","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44235437","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The textbook was developed with Dick and Carey's development model that was adapted and modified by Lawrence Cunning Ham. Next, the textbook assessment was carried out with assessment instruments made by the National Education Standards Board (BNSP). This study used the quasi-experimental method with data obtained through pre-test and post-test and analyzed with T-test and Anova. The results of this study indicated that the average pre-test score of Arabic learning from Mathematics Education students was 37.00 (low), Physics Education 32.31 (low), Chemistry Education 33.17 (low), and Biology Education 28.53 (low). Meanwhile, the average post-test score of Arabic learning from Mathematics Education students was 79.74 (high), Physics Education 81.93 (high), Chemistry Education 80.43 (high), and Biology Education 81.72 (high). In general, students from the said departments experienced a high increase in the Arabic learning outcomes with an average increase of more than 0.70 (70%). To fill the gap, this research aims to examine why Matan Jurumiyah Book is not applicable for novice Arabic learners. To collect the data, observation and in-depth interviews were conducted. The results of the study show that the material of the Matan Jurumiyah is not relevant to be used for the novice learners due to (1) the conciseness and condensation of the book contents, (2) the lackness of Arabic basic knowledge, (3) the raising of new problems for novice learners because of the number of syarah or explanation over the Book of Matan Jurumiyah. That empirical evidence was anchored to the internal and external factors. Internal factors are closely related to the dichotomy of syntax and morphology while external factors are related to the absence of consideration of the Indonesian context and are arranged in a deductive way. It aims to find out the right steps to design the curriculum so that objectives of Arabic learning can be achieved. Using a qualitative approach with a multi-case design, this study took place in three salaf pesantrens in Java, namely Pesantren As-Salafi of Ciwaringin West Java, Pesantren Al-Hikmah 2 of Benda Central Java, and Pesantren HM Al-Mahrusiyah of Lirboyo East Java. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation review. The study found that although, in general, the Arabic curriculum in the three salaf pesantren was quite suitable with the Arabic teaching curriculum for foreign language speakers, the right steps in designing the curriculum were still needed. First, the four language skills must receive good attention, especially the speaking skills considering the main function of language as a means of communication. Second, the curriculum material must contain three language competencies, i.e. the linguistic aspect, the function of language as a communication tool, and the cultural aspect. Third, the learning system needs to use a combination of several methods by considering the learning objectives, the material characteristics, the students' ability, and even the teachers’ condition. Fourth, modern learning media such as language laboratories need to be pursued because almost all the main objectives of language teaching can be carried out in such laboratories. Fifth, the evaluation of language learning must include mastery of linguistics and communication.","PeriodicalId":55722,"journal":{"name":"Alsinatuna","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45251710","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In fact, Arabic learning has undergone a change in orientation towards a more perfect direction. The purpose of this article is to understand (1) the orientation of Arabic learning in tertiary institutions, (2) models of transformation of Arabic learning in higher education based on a new orientation of Arabic learning. So far this aspect has not been paid attention to in existing studies. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis model. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. Data were analyzed from the start of data collection, then data description and data reduction, then verification in detail. The results of this study indicate that there is a change in orientation in learning Arabic in Indonesian universities, which previously only oriented maharah qira'ah to understand religious texts, to become perfectly oriented to master the four language skills. A new transformation model is being carried out by several universities that teach Arabic, characterized by intensive learning using a modern curriculum and the availability of an appropriate language environment. In conclusion, it turns out that learning Arabic in Indonesia leads to a better direction if it is consistent with a new orientation and follows the development of language learning in other worlds.","PeriodicalId":55722,"journal":{"name":"Alsinatuna","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45436727","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
