Additionally, quantitative data analysis employs an accounting model to ascertain the financial implications.</div></div><div><h3>Main measurements</h3><div>The costs analyses were done from the perspective of the women survivors. An accounting model was utilized to evaluate the cost of GBV on selected survivors. Furthermore, the research explores the enduring consequences for survivors, including psychological trauma and susceptibility to stress-related diseases.</div></div><div><h3>Results</h3><div>The findings reveal substantial economic costs linked to GBV, adversely affecting survivors, their children, and society at large. This study aims to explore the evolution of depression and anxiety levels during the 12 weeks postpartum in mothers of premature babies.</div></div><div><h3>Design</h3><div>Prospective study of two parallel cohorts.</div></div><div><h3>Setting</h3><div>Hospital Clínic of Barcelona.</div></div><div><h3>Participants</h3><div>Women with obstetric complications [premature rupture of membranes or preeclampsia] requiring hospitalization and preterm delivery (< 37 weeks of gestation); 2) Women without complications with term delivery.</div></div><div><h3>Main measures</h3><div>Validated questionnaires were administered to measure anxiety (State-Trait Anxiety Inventory, STAI) and depression (Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale, EPDS) during the first week, and at 6 and 12 weeks postpartum.</div></div><div><h3>Results</h3><div>182 women were analyzed: 90 with uncomplicated pregnancies and term deliveries, and 92 with complications requiring preterm delivery. During the follow-up, women with premature newborns showed a significantly unfavorable progression in depression (p <<!--> <!-->0.001) and anxiety (p <<!--> <!-->0.001) scores, as well as a higher proportion of abnormal scores on both scales (p <<!--> <!-->0.001 and p<!--> <!-->=<!--> <!-->0.004, respectively)</div></div><div><h3>Conclusions</h3><div>Women with preterm delivery show higher anxiety and depression levels than those with term delivery during the 12 weeks postpartum. In Spain, the prevalence of overweight and obesity is high and is expected to increase in the coming years. The <em>World Atlas of Obesity</em> suggests that in 2035 the prevalence of obesity in Spain will be high or very high, both in adults and children, following the worldwide trend. The prevalence of diabetes and obesity in Spain is higher in older people, especially those aged 65 and over. The objective of this study is to describe the obtained results from a Mpox case detection program in a semi-urban healthcare area where approximately 420 Primary Care physicians work.</div></div><div><h3>Design</h3><div>An observational prospective study performed between June 01, 2022 and December 31, 2023.</div></div><div><h3>Setting</h3><div>The Northern Metropolitan area of Barcelona, with 1400.000<!--> <!-->hab (Catalonia, Spain).</div></div><div><h3>Methods</h3><div>An unified Mpox management procedure was agreed, including a prior online training of Primary Care professionals, to individually assess all Mpox suspected cases from a clinical and epidemiological perspective.</div></div><div><h3>Participants</h3><div>All patients who met clinical and/or epidemiological criteria of Mpox.</div></div><div><h3>Data collection</h3><div>Age, gender, risk classification (suspected/probable), cluster-linked (yes/no), high-risk sexual contact (yes/no), general symptoms, genital lesion and final diagnostic.</div></div><div><h3>Results</h3><div>A total of 68 suspected Mpox cases were included, from which 16 (26.6%) were Mpox confirmed by PCR. Up to 13 (81.2%) were male and, among them, 12 (75%) men who have sex with men (MSM). The series, however, included two minors and three women. Among MSM, 3 (18.7%) were HIV positive and 3 had no regular access to the Public Healthcare system. The theoretical saturation technique was used to close the interviews. Categorical thematic content analysis with IRAMUTEQ software support.</p></div><div><h3>Results</h3><p>Professionals’ lack of knowledge about policies and terms was evidenced; there were conceptual confusions, inadequate associations, and a restricted approach to the prevention of sexually transmitted infections.</p></div><div><h3>Conclusions</h3><p>The lack of training reflects a cisnormative and binary approach, compromising the assistance to the transgender population. Logistic regression analysis was applied to investigate the association between each dietary pattern and the risk of hyperglycemia with odds ratios (OR) and 95% confidence intervals (CI). SPCA analysis yielded five significant principal components (PC), which represented five main dietary patterns.</p></div><div><h3>Results</h3><p>PC1, characterized by a high intake of sweets, red meat and processed meat, was associated with higher odds of hyperglycemia in patients who underwent hyperglycemic drug or insulin treatments (OR: 1.71, 95% CI: 1.10–2.64). PC5, characterized by high in red meat, while low in coffee, sweets, and high-fat dairy consumption. The relationship between the PC5 and hyperglycemia was marginal significance (OR: 0.63, 95% CI: 0.38–1.02). PC2 was characterized by a high consumption of green vegetables, other vegetables, and whole grains, and low intake of potatoes and processed meat. In patients with the hyperglycemic drug and insulin free, higher PC2 levels were related to lower odds of hyperglycemia (OR: 0.45, 95% CI: 0.21–0.96).</p></div><div><h3>Conclusions</h3><p>High intake of sweets, red meat, and processed meat might be detrimental to glycemic control in patients with drug-treated T2DM. High in red meat, while low in coffee, sweets, and high-fat dairy consumption may be beneficial to glycemic control.
