Regarding CVRF, 31.2% presented hypertension, 38.2% smoking, 41.1% overweight/obesity, 52.7% consumed alcohol sporadically, and 5% presented daytime sleepiness. Statistically significant differences by sex, except for smoking and sleepiness.</div></div><div><h3>Conclusions</h3><div>The prevalence of CVRF in SNS-O personnel was high and similar to that of the general adult population. Objective

Results

Of the 5801 workers studied, the calculated probability of suffering a vascular event in 10 years was 1.3%. Age recoded in decades from 40 to 70 and grouped BMI (normal weight vs overweight-obesity) were the variables with the greatest explanatory effect on the risk of cardiovascular events. Regarding CVRF, 31.2% presented hypertension, 38.2% smoking, 41.1% overweight/obesity, 52.7% consumed alcohol sporadically, and 5% presented daytime sleepiness. Conclusions
