The data of this study were obtained from the results of the students' translation which were taken using written test techniques. After the translation results are obtained, the error identification, error classification and error reconstruction are carried out. The forms of errors that occur in the translation results of the students are word choice errors, word omission errors, word addition errors, rule errors, and word form errors. In this study, after testing the hypothesis, the following results were obtained: 1) Application of film media in Arabic lessons for class X IPA 4 students at madrasah aliyah al-amiriyyah with an average questionnaire result of 63.48 in the good category. 2) Memorization of Arabic mufrodat class X IPA 4 students of madrasah aliyah al-amiriyyah with an average of 67.58 which is in the 63-68 interval with a fairly good category. 3) r_count is greater than rtable, both at the significant level of 5% or 1%, which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so there is a significant influence between the film media on the increase in memorizing the mufrodat of class X ipa 4 students of madrasah aliyah al-amiriyyah in the academic year 2018-2019. Its main aims are to identify the strategies and styles used to translate the prepositions and to analyze their meanings, semantic functions in verbal phrase (collocations and idioms) which were translated into Malay. This study applied the Dynamic, Semantic and Communicative Theories as well as the Relevance Theory to perform the analysis process. The results showed that the Arabic and Malay (translation) prepositions consisted of grammatical categories which cannot be translated into direct lexical. Moreover, it was also aimed to know the secret use of politeness on various speech acts in the lettersto the kings. The letters analyzed in this discussion were the letters containing a call to embrace Islam to the three kings of great kingdoms outside the Arabian Peninsula, Abyssinia al-Najasy (Ethiopia), Emperor Heraclius (Roman), and Kisra (Persia). The language analysis methodof Eunar Haugen was used in this research. Searle (1969) speech acts and Leech (1983)politeness was used as thetheory. The result showed that the letters mostly used a form of indirect speech acts with imperatives. In any form of speech used contained politeness maxims formulated by Leech used without recourse. The use of different linguistic politeness makes different influence on the king recipients. Once it is united to convince the recipients, it will make them sure to accept Islam. The research analyzed two essential books, i.e. Revealed Suspicions about Asami Books and the Arts by Haji Khalifa, and Albulgh in the Assets of the Language by Mr. Mohammad Khan Alguenoja. It focused on three languages: Persian, Turkish and Arabic. Therefore, the researcher categorized studying these languages into four groups. They are the first group composed in Arabic to study Persian; the second books composed in Farsi to study Arabic; the third books composed in Turkish for the study of Persian; and the fourth books pointing at Persian instructions composed in Farsi. The relationship between the Arabs and Persians and the Persians and Turks with reference to the history of linguistic relations among them. The researcher noted that the method in teaching these languages has focused on the basics of the language by Kalpde to identify the name, action and the source, and also found there are dictionaries of linguistic help in the educational process. Arabic fuṣhâ used as a written language, and Arabic ‘âmiyah used as a spoken language. In daily activities, Arab people used Arabic ‘âmiyah more frequently. This is due to a fairly high level of formality that is owned by Arabic fuṣhâ, that should be in the spoken language is communicative, consultative, relaxed and intimate, both in term of morphological and syntactical. In the Egyptian Arabic occur in phonological and morphological differences were deemed difficult for students who only learn Arabic fuṣhâ. The difficulty that arises due to the ignorance of students to the differences that occur between Arabic fuṣhâ and Egyptian dialect. With an understanding of phonological and morphological of Arabic ‘âmiyah expected that the students of Arabic language or people who have learned fuṣhâ can understand-at least a few understanding-spoken language so that communication will run smoothly. By understanding the pattern of theme development in a text, beginner who wants to write in Arabic is easier in arranging the idea. This article is a research to see a great correlation between thematic progression with the creative writing in Arabic. The book taken as sample was al-Qirâ’ah al-Râsyidah which is used in MAN Karang Anyar and MAN 1 Surakarta. Related to the rheme in developing the theme, the students of both school wrote their daily activity by using thematic progression patterns. The result of the study showed that there is a great correlation between thematic progression pattern with the creative writing in Arabic.
