Intercultural management and its challenges are extensively analysed in numerous Polish and foreign publications. The significant role played by intercultural management primarily stems from the tremendous impact it exerts on the efficient functioning of multicultural teams, the relationships between the people in these teams, and their communication and motivation. Moreover, at present it is a crucial aspect of the everyday work of managers operating in culturally diverse work environments.\u0000The article is of a theoretical nature. The first part describes the role and importance of manager values in the context of cultural diversity in their work environments, followed by the presentation of the concept and meaning of intercultural management. Next, the impact managers exert on the management of culturally diverse teams in modern organizations is analysed. Przedmiot badań, jakim jest neuroróżnorodność studentów, został osadzony w ramy (kontekst) trzech kategorii służących opisowi kategorii neuroróżnorodności i edukacji studentów neuroróżnorodnych. Wybrane kategorie to: autorstwo własnego życia, samostanowienie i emancypacja. Nie deklarujemy ich szczegółowej charakterystyki, natomiast wydobywamy wątki służące ukazaniu ich potencjału dla otwarcia dyskusji naukowej o neuroróżnorodności. Motywem docelowym jest jednak wpisanie praktyki dydaktycznej w paradygmat myślenia i działania akademickiego zgodnego z kategorią neuroróżnorodności. Kierunek hermeneutycznej pracy wyznacza problem główny: Jaka jest istota procesu kształcenia w uczelni wyższej studentów neuroróżnorodnych? Hermeneutyczne rozważaniach prowadzone są logice paradygmatu konstruktywistycznego odnoszącego się do dydaktycznych i społecznych wymiarów tworzenia rzeczywistości edukacyjnej. Staje on wówczas przed wieloma ważnymi wyborami na płaszczyźnie zawodowej i osobistej – podejmuje pierwszą pracę zawodową oraz zaczyna tworzyć trwałe relacje. Sposób radzenia sobie z problematycznymi wyborami życiowymi jest w dużej mierze zdeterminowany prawidłowo ukształtowaną osobowością i adekwatną samooceną, które tworzą się w okresie wczesnego dzieciństwa. Czas ten okazuje się być fundamentalny dla rozwoju i przyszłego życia młodego człowieka. Styl więzi, jaką dziecko tworzy bowiem ze swoim opiekunem, może znacząco wpływać na występowanie w przyszłości pewnych deficytów czy trudności. Braki te będą znacząco wpływać na jakość życia młodego człowieka, zaś próby ich kompensowania mogą się zakończyć na różne sposoby. Samotność emocjonalna i poczucie wyobcowania niejednokrotnie prowadzą do ucieczki w wirtualną rzeczywistość, co niesie za sobą ryzyko zachowań związanych z szeroko rozumianym uzależnieniem, w tym również od internetu. Badaniami objęte zostały dwie grupy adolescentów – słyszących i z uszkodzonym słuchem. Jego głównym celem jest przyjrzenie się alternatywnemu do tradycyjnego sposobowi pracy ze skazanymi, tzw. resocjalizacji twórczej, oraz dostarczenie szerszej wiedzy na temat jej zastosowania w polskim więziennictwie. Główne założenia metodyczne tego sposobu resocjalizacji zostały przedstawione z wykorzystaniem współcześnie dostępnego i realizowanego przez Areszt Śledczy w Kielcach programu stosowanego wobec osób pozbawionych wolności – „Teatr, Mama, Tata i Ja”. Rozważania dotyczące tego programu resocjalizacyjnego zostały dopełnione osobistym doświadczeniem byłego skazanego, przekazanym w toku przeprowadzonego wywiadu narracyjnego. Ukazana w artykule problematyka może się stać zachętą do większego zaangażowania kadry specjalistycznej w projektowanie, a także realizację programów z zakresu resocjalizacji twórczej w środowisku penitencjarnym oraz do korzystania z szerokiego wachlarza oferowanych przez nią metod. Jak ukazują wyniki przeprowadzonych badań, resocjalizacja w tym wydaniu posiada ogromny wpływ na rozwój potencjałów i przeobrażanie świata wartości jednostek. Gładkowska","doi":"10.12775/spi.2021.4.010","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.12775/spi.2021.4.010","url":null,"abstract":"The aim of the study presented in the article was to demonstrate the benefits of education and art therapy for students returning to traditional learning after the period of online education caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The article presents selected Polish and foreign studies on the relationship between the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) and psychological deterioration in schoolage children. Taking into account the probable intensification of such cases related to the widespread use of ICT in teaching during the pandemic, the need for systematic psychological support of the majority of students in the reality of the “post-pandemic school” is observed. Hence, the suggestion to introduce elements of art therapy in Polish schools. Art therapy as an activity facilitating group integration, expression of emotions and self-regulation using art and creative expression was presented as a possibility of adapting educational activities to the new challenges and needs of students. {"title":"Family Art Therapy: Towards possible applications of an underestimated form of art therapy","authors":"Edyta Nieduziak","doi":"10.12775/spi.2021.4.008","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.12775/spi.2021.4.008","url":null,"abstract":"The main purpose of the article is to present various ways of conducting art therapy with families, which is often referred to as Family Art Therapy. In the first part, the author explains the sources and unique features of this form of work, before proceeding to characterize therapeutic interventions described in the literature on the subject. Although they are not numerous, they present a wide range of possibilities for the use of Family Art Therapy. The author, therefore, proposes a division into three main groups of problems: (1) the functioning of the family is disturbed as a result of the health condition of one of its members; most often it is a child who is experiencing severe mental disorders, e.g. schizophrenia, mood disorders, depression, suicide attempts, etc. or ADHD, ASD and neurodevelopmental disorders; (2) the functioning of the family is disturbed as a result of external conditions: a crisis situation, or domestic violence; (3) disturbances in the relationship between the parent(s) and the child. These various family problems require different techniques and exercises, which has been highlighted in the characteristics of the different ways of working with families. The article is also complemented by short descriptions of art-therapy works prepared by art therapy students, the starting point for which was the use of a diagnostic and therapeutic genogram technique for creative, artistic work and self-reflection on one’s own family.
