Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional survey using paper questionnaires comprising demographic data and the Chinese version of the Supportive Care Needs Survey-Short Form (SCNS-SF34). A total of 143 patients from a tertiary hospital participated. Results: The prevalence of unmet supportive care needs varied between 1.43% and 50.00%. The duration since treatment conclusion correlated with the SCNS-SF34 scores, specifically, patients who had completed treatment within the past 6 months reported higher needs than those treated over 6 months prior. The domain of the health system and information emerged as the most pressing need for both groups. Conclusion:Prostate cancer survivors exhibit a clear necessity for sustained supportive care, particularly concerning health system and information. Nurses must prioritize these needs, especially for patients within 6 months post-treatment, and future research should endeavor to expand the avenues of healthcare service provision.","PeriodicalId":502379,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Education, Humanities and Social Science Research","volume":"22 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139283171","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The experience of awe triggers self-transcendence, driving individuals to seek greater meaning in their lives and fostering a sense of interconnectedness with others. Self-transcendence promotes authenticity by aligning actions with one's genuine self, reducing the fear of disapproval or inauthentic behavior within social groups. As a result, individuals who experience awe are more inclined to exhibit authentic prosocial behavior, benefiting both themselves and society. This paper explores the profound impact of awe on prosocial behavior and authenticity. It delves into the intricate relationship between awe, self-transcendence, authenticity, and prosociality, highlighting the significance of seeking awe-inspiring experiences for personal growth and communal well-being.","PeriodicalId":502379,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Education, Humanities and Social Science Research","volume":"29 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139282769","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Digitalization has undoubtedly become one of the core issues in school governance decision-making, and the digital leadership of college leaders is the key to promote the digital transformation of school education to adapt to the digital wave. However, considering the theoretical level, practical level and individual level, it is found that the level of digital leadership of university leaders is weak and urgent changes need to be made. Based on the evolution of the connotation of the dual theories of informatization leadership and digital leadership, the study traces the origins of digital leadership at home and abroad through the literature research method, and combs through the essential differences between educational informatization leadership and digital leadership from four aspects: leadership concept, application scope, data value, and competence requirements, so as to put forward the strategy of improving digital leadership for college leaders: The first is to transform the cognition of digital technology and improve the inductive reflection power of digital application; the second is to strengthen the cultivation of digital planning power and formulate the standard of digital leadership; the third is to cultivate the power of data decision-making and analysis, and to call for the formation of school data team. In order to provide certain reference for the reform and construction of digital team of leaders in China's colleges and universities in the new era.","PeriodicalId":502379,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Education, Humanities and Social Science Research","volume":"6 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139282704","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This article does not focus on exploring the inevitable changes brought about by media transformation, but directly points to the narrative core of the text. Taking the adaptation film Red Rose White Rose directed by Stanley Kwan as an example, by comparing the core narrative themes of the novel and the film, this study explores the narrative adaptation strategies and underlying logic of the film.","PeriodicalId":502379,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Education, Humanities and Social Science Research","volume":"4 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139313204","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Affective response and cognition take place simultaneously during the music-listening process. However, there is a paucity of research on how university music teachers deal with the issues of involving the affective responses of students in listening. This study employed a questionnaire survey to investigate the current situation of teaching beliefs and actions of music academics towards affective responses while listening to music in China. The views of 160 music university teachers recruited from 15 different universities have been surveyed. The questionnaire was designed based on the concept of music teaching and learning with an acceptable reliability of K=0.58. The survey data identified the potential correlation between the teacher’s beliefs and their actions (r=0.67). Moreover, the possible correlation between several predictors associated with the teachers (gender, educational degree, teaching experience and the type of university, and so on) also have been investigated. The results of this study revealed that around 90% of respondents agreed that affective responses can be enhanced music cognition during the teaching process. The relationship between teachers’ beliefs and actions is found to be positive but not linear related. In addition, it was found that the teacher’s knowledge of effective pedagogical responses during music listening has the potential to broaden the scope of their teaching.","PeriodicalId":502379,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Education, Humanities and Social Science Research","volume":"12 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139313320","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Despite extensive studies about inequality in health outcomes, our understanding of inequality in self-rated health is quite limited. This study aimed to determine the inequality in self-rated health and its associated factors in Hubei populations, China. Methods: A cross-sectional questionnaire survey was conducted on the community residents purposively selected from six municipalities in Hubei province, China. Participants were asked to rate their health on a five-point Likert scale, ranging from 1 to 5. A total of 1336 valid questionnaires were collected. Inequality in self-rated health was assessed using concentration index and further decomposed to measure sociodemographic inequality in the health of residents. Results: Two thirds (66%) of respondents rated their health as “excellent/very good/good”, while 34% rated it as fair or poor. The income-related concentration index was 0.0321 (95% CI, 0.0229 to 0.0413), indicating a concentration of poor self-rated health in the low-income groups. The CI of SRH in urban areas was 0.0239, which was lower than that in rural areas (0.0379). Age (17.5%) made the biggest contribution to the inequality in SRH, which was followed by employment (15.7%), income (8.5%), education (4.5%) and physical exercise (3.0%). Conclusions: There exist socioeconomic inequalities in self-rated health in Hubei, China. Policy priorities should be given to rural area, the older people and those with low economic participation.","PeriodicalId":502379,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Education, Humanities and Social Science Research","volume":"6 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139313448","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Existing research often starts from the perspective of the technology acceptance model, neglecting the impact of diverse factors such as individual adaptation of teachers, socio-cultural environment, and cultural differences on technological anxiety. However, the emotional state of teachers will affect the effectiveness of their use of technological tools. This study attempts to apply theories of cross-cultural adaptation, postmodern social theory, Hofstede's cultural dimensions theory, social constructivism theory, and combine representative empirical research to deeply explore the socio-cultural factors and mechanisms behind the formation of teachers' technological anxiety, and propose suggestions from various social levels. From the perspective of socio-cultural contradictions, teachers' technological anxiety is mainly caused by differences in teachers' ability to adapt to technology, the impact of technology on educational practices, attitudes towards technology in different cultural backgrounds, and obstacles in the construction of technological cognition. To balance the contradiction between teachers' technological adaptation and socio-culture in the intelligent era, it is necessary to enhance the individual technological adaptability of teachers; construct a technology-friendly socio-cultural environment; pay attention to cultural differences, promote equal acceptance of technology; guide the social construction of positive technological cognition, and cultivate teachers' positive attitude and motivation for using technology.","PeriodicalId":502379,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Education, Humanities and Social Science Research","volume":"55 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139313483","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The natural landscape of Taohua Island thus turns into a literary landscape after literary writing. The Taohua Islands in nature, in literature and in readers' hearts are interrelated, which shape the three-layer spaces of the landscape of Taohua Island and give Taohua Island its unique connotation of martial arts wonderland.
