The active dissemination of information and digital technologies in the 20th century has led to the fact that the virtual space today has become the main platform for expressing the political, cultural and spiritual values of young people. Representatives of this age group most often use digital resources as a means of self-expression and a channel for obtaining information about changes in the modern world. In Russia, the virtual space is used by various actors to form public opinion and include young people in the political and public life of the state. On the other hand, the possibilities of the virtual space are often used as a tool for misinforming young people, spreading fakes, extremist and radical sentiments. Given the difficult foreign policy situation and the need to ensure the national security of the Russian Federation and protect its population, including in the virtual space, it becomes necessary to study the political orientations and values of young people. Methods. The basis of the methodology of this article is formed by a combination of general scientific, special and applied methods. The choice of the axiological approach as a methodological basis for the study of value orientations and ideals of modern youth made it possible to consider values as an important social phenomenon that requires a specific study that reflects the features of the reflection of political values in the virtual space. Hermeneutical analysis, presented in line with the integration of qualitative and quantitative research methods, is used in the study of the formation of personal identity, values, experiences of the younger generation associated with the expression of their individuality and political preferences in a virtual environment. The semiotic approach was used in the process of studying the sign-symbolic field of modern youth culture in the virtual space. The empirical basis of the study was statistical data that allows us to assess the involvement of young people in the Internet environment and trace the trends in the development of the virtual space in modern Russia. The materials of sociological surveys conducted by the Levada Center and the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center made it possible to draw conclusions about the inclusion of Russian society in the virtual space, as well as about the value preferences of Russians aged 18 to 35 regarding material, family and civic ideals. Results and Discussion. The article is aimed at studying the characteristics of young people as an age group and the specifics of the reflection of their value ideals in the virtual space. The development of the Internet and social networks leads to new problems and potential dangers for the younger generation, which spends a lot of time in the virtual space. The preservation of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values, culture and historical memory today is a strategic national priority of multinational and multi-confessional Russia. Results and Discussion. In 1555, the Kazan diocese was formed, which launched an active work on the Christianization of the peoples of the Volga region. In 1672, the territory of the Alatyrsky district became part of the newly formed Nizhny Novgorod and Alatyrsky diocese. This event was closely connected with the strengthening of the Old Believers in the Volga region and the task of baptizing the non-Russian population of the Volga region. Orthodox monasteries became centers for the spread of Christianity in the Mordovian region. Along with the church-state Christianization of the Mordovian people, there was also its folk form, realized on the basis of voluntary economic and cultural communication with the Russian population. A significant role in the Orthodox life of the region in the 17th – 18 th centuries. Spaso-Preobrazhenskaya Startseuglovskaya Hermitage and Kazanskaya Klyuchevskaya Hermitage played. Conclusion. In general, the baptism of the Mordovians, the foundation of monasteries and the desert, the opening of churches became an important step in strengthening Orthodoxy in the region, played a positive role in the spiritual and moral education of the people, and left a noticeable mark on the development of education and culture. The article presents the results of a study of the problem of the emotional intelligence and empathy of university students. An analysis of theoretical approaches to this problem in domestic and foreign psychology is carried out. The results of an empirical study conducted among students of the Faculty of Law of the Synergy University are described, during which the features of the relationship between their intellectual and leadership qualities are revealed. Statistically significant differences in the level of development of intellectual and leadership qualities were revealed. We have set the following tasks: 1) on the basis of a theoretical analysis of scientific literature, to reveal the essence of the concepts of “leadership” and “intelligence”; 2) to explore the intellectual and leadership qualities of students in their relationship. Materials and Methods: analysis of scientific literature; observation; psychodiagnostic methods (tests, conversation); experimental methods; mathematical and statistical methods (Spearman’s rank correlation method). Results. The results of the study related to the identification of the relationship between intellectual and leadership qualities among students are presented. Discussion and Conclusion. The article aims to determine the nature of the participation of folk dance in the process of forming the ethnic and national identity of the Russian people. For this purpose, the dance is considered as a means of social communication and analyzed by the example of the most common variants of its application in the practice of everyday and festive communication of the Russian rural population of the Nizhny Novgorod region of the second half of the 20th century. Materials and Methods. In the process of working on the article, a comparative historical method was used, which allowed us to present the dynamics of the historical development of traditional dance from the end of the 19th to the second half of the 20th centuries. The structural and functional method was also used which made it possible to determine the main functions of dance culture in the life of the rural community. These methods were used in combination with the analysis of historiographical works and sources, as well as methods of field research. Results. Russian folk dance has undergone a number of changes over a certain historical period. Initially, it had a ritual and cult significance, developed within the framework of the male military tradition, and was used in the rituals of the calendar and wedding cycles. In the 20th century, the communicative potential of dance began to be directed to the rural community. Dance becomes the universal language of festive communication. It acquires the significance of one of the components of national identity after the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Discussion and Conclusion. The ethno-cultural significance of dance in the life of a rural community in the second half of the 20th century can be illustrated by the culmination of the annual village festival. During it, the dance of men, successors of their kind, heirs of the winners and defenders of the Fatherland, brings a final, life-affirming and archaic meaning to the general emotional unity. The relevance of the topic is due to the fact that in modern conditions of the formation of post-industrial society, the study of socio-cultural factors in the development of optics will complement the holistic picture of the late industrial model of Russian industrial modernization. Materials and Methods. The methodological basis of the study was the theory of modernization, which involves taking into account not only economic, but also social, cultural and personal factors of industrial development. Results. Socio-cultural context of enterprise development in the second half of the 1940s – mid-1960s consistent with the trends of late industrial development. The enterprise actively cooperated with a wide range of research institutes, higher educational and scientific organizations. The socio-cultural infrastructure of Ural Optical and Mechanical Plant (UOMZ) was replenished with a library of scientific and technical literature, a hospital, a polyclinic, a gym, a recreation center, a kindergarten and a pioneer camp for the children of employees. Housing was built for factory workers. At the enterprise, there was a sponsored state farm, a greenhouse. Circles (choir, drama) and an orchestra worked at the factory club. The value of labor was built into the ethics of the working class. The fate of many UOMZ workers is a vivid illustration of the mechanisms of social mobility of the late industrial era and the social solidarity of a socialist society. Discussion and Conclusions. At the micro level, using the example of the activities of the Ural Optical and Mechanical Plant, the regularities of the beginning of the final stage of industrial modernization in the optical industry are shown. The article is devoted to the views of the Russian religious philosopher, critic and publicist V. V. Rozanov on the “woman’s question” of the mid- 19th – early 20th century. The author pays attention to such social aspects of a woman’s life as: marriage, education, work, rights, opportunities for social self-realization. The relevance of the article is due to the undoubted interest of society in the woman’s topic and the Russian woman’s movement. The purpose of the article is to reveal the views of V. V. Rozanov on a woman, comparing them with the ideas of the woman’s emancipation movement of the middle of 19th and early 20th centuries. Materials and Methods. The study used hermeneutic, comparative and comparative historical methods that help to identify the views of the Russian thinker on a woman from his philosophical and journalistic works. Results. The article examined V. V. Rozanov’s interpretation of the divorce process, the position of women in the family, society, the opportunities for women to receive education and realization in the labor sphere. An analysis of the works chosen by the author made it possible to single out the views of the Russian thinker in support of the ideas and demands of Russian women. Discussion and Conclusion. Reflective practice is a process that facilitates, intensifies and enhances teaching and learning. It allows developing understanding of teachers and other subjects of education and plays a central role in the professional development of university teachers. When educators in an innovation-oriented university conduct systematic reflective (self-)examination of themselves, they understand themselves, their practice, and their students better and more fully. By constantly examining their own actions, ideas and experiences, they grow professionally, personally and socially. He also creates conditions for his students: he helps them develop their understanding and their reflective practices in the situation of the study sessions. Discussion and Conclusion. The author of the article develops a theme of the Internet influence on formation of ego- and collective identity of youth ages 18–24. Materials and Methods. Behaviorism, network approaches were used as the theoretical and methodological strategy of the study, as well as systematization of results, obtained during the 14 interviews. Results. We have come to the conclusion that political identity of Russian youth ages 18–24 isn’t formed. This fact can be one of the causes of low political participation of the studied age group. In order to set a trend for sustainable political identity of youth forming, we need to create a unified communication system, which will help to create conditions for internalization of citizen identity values by young generations. Experts agree on the opinion, that the legitimacy of Russian government in the eyes of youth can be enhanced by implementing Internet-technologies, adapted to the young audience’s special perception of information (gamified content, short video content, preferably with the opinion leaders participation), as Russian youth, firstly, tend to rely on the Internet as the most transparent source of information, secondly, young people of Russia use the Internet more often, comparable to other generations. Discussion and Conclusion. Underdevelopment of political identity of Russian younger generations is explained by several factors: first of all, the absence of well articulated by the Russian state image of the future, secondly, too frequent to adapt to them policy changes, thirdly, increasing distance between Russian government and Russian youths and, finally, creating conditions, that decrease the possibility of professional self-realization of younger generations. The purpose of the study is to assess the significance and substantiate the humanistic nature of the creative heritage of A. A. Bogdanov in the new social reality. The objectives of the study are: a comparative analysis of the philosophical and socio-economic content of the works of A. A. Bogdanov; critical comparison of the theoretical and methodological approaches existing in modern science to understanding the basic ideas of the scientist; revealing their theoretical and practical significance, taking into account the new social reality. Materials and Methods. The basis for writing the article was the writings of A. A. Bogdanov himself, as well as scientific studies of his work, which have appeared over the past twenty years. The study used structural-functional and program-targeted approaches, methods of analysis, synthesis, generalizations and axiology, as well as historical-retrospective, historical-genetic and hermeneutic research methods. Results. On the example of the socio-philosophical concepts of “gathering a person” and “collective personality”, A. A. Bogdanov’s contribution to the formulation and development of scientific ideas about socialism, humanism, social responsibility and social justice is shown. The humanistic nature of A. A. Bogdanov’s ideas about social cooperation and state structure in a truly humane society is revealed, which distinguishes his views from the ideas of Western European socialists – utopianists and humanists of the Renaissance. The distinctive features of the humanistic philosophy of A. A. Bogdanov from “orthodox Marxism” and liberalism are revealed. Discussion and Conclusion. On the basis of different scientific approaches that have developed in historical, economic and philosophical science, the polymorphism of tabooing the creative heritage of A. A. It is noted the originality of Leonardo da Vinci’s natural-scientific views in the context of the Renaissance. The objectives of the article are outlined: the systematization of Leonardo’s natural-scientific views, the identification of methods used by him to cognize the reality, the analysis of the set of social conditions that influenced the formation of the thinker’s views. It is also indicated the relevance of the researched argument; the object and subject of the study are determined. Materials and Methods. It is indicated that the main source used in the article are the notes of Leonardo, reflecting his ideas about nature. The methods used in the study are related to the specifics of this source: a concrete historical approach, a comparative historical method, logical and textual methods. Results. The circumstances that gave rise to an interest in natural-scientific problems are indicated – painting and its interpretation as a reflection of the real world, on the one hand; good mathematical training received by Leonardo in his youth, on the other. It is proved, using primary sources, that Leonardo da Vinci considered experience to be the main method of cognition, and the ultimate goal of cognitive activity was the practical application of knowledge. The peculiarity of the humanistic orientation of Leonardo’s thought is revealed. On the basis of primary sources, the thinker’s ideas about nature, human, and the purpose of science are revealed. It is shown how Christian ideas and the humanistic Renaissance view were combined in a peculiar way in the views of the thinker. Attention is drawn to the inconsistency of Leonardo da Vinci’s relationship with Christianity. Discussion and Conclusion. It is shown the significance of Leonardo’s philosophical views, his role in the history of philosophy as a predecessor of the empiricist philosophers of Modern Time. It is noted that the comprehensive activity of the thinker, in fact, embodied the ideal of a person, great creative opportunities that feed, firstly, the desire to fully know the world and, secondly, the awareness of the usefulness of their activities for others.
