The jury that symbolizes democracy is declining in the common law system. Likewise, the Chinese law circle holds different viewpoints on China’s existing people’s assessor system. The judicial effectiveness of the Anglo-American jury was analyzed, and the relationship between the Anglo-American jury system and judicial democracy was examined in this paper. Moreover, an insight into the existence or abolishment of the people’s assessor system was offered based on its status quo. On this basis, some suggestions were given regarding realizing judicial democracy for China’s existing judicial system without impairing judicial specialization.","PeriodicalId":486045,"journal":{"name":"Interdisciplinary Humanities and Communication Studies","volume":"20 18","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140697537","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While pursuing the breadth of information, people began to value the purity and directness of information, which directly led to the rapid development of podcasts and their carrier platforms. Perceived value is the overall value of a commodity or service that consumers feel subjectively. Perceived convenience covers a lot of aspects, which can be summarized as the total amount of money or energy consumed when consuming a certain product or service.These two important indicators are used by academics to measure consumer satisfaction and their overall impression of a product. Therefore, based on the characteristics of podcast platform, such as rich choices and one-way information, this paper introduces the concept of convenience perception through the theory of perceived value, and uses TAM model as the carrier to study the impact of value and convenience perception on consumers’ willingness to consume paid programs on podcast platform.","PeriodicalId":486045,"journal":{"name":"Interdisciplinary Humanities and Communication Studies","volume":"361 11","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140698359","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It particularly highlights the multifaceted applications of large language models (e.g., ChatGPT, MedLM) in healthcare, including data analysis, diagnostics, information retrieval, usage of medical devices, and assistance in tasks. Concurrently, it underscores the risks present alongside these applications, especially concerning data privacy. The study emphasizes the necessity of data privacy protection throughout the entire cycle. By reviewing policies from various countries, it outlines the critical role of refined policies and a clear governmental stance in advancing the application of large language models in healthcare and ensuring their safety.","PeriodicalId":486045,"journal":{"name":"Interdisciplinary Humanities and Communication Studies","volume":"26 15","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140696571","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First, we discuss the ecological environment improvement of a city if the original fuel buses are converted to pure electric buses. We use a carbon emission model, an indirect one, and a direct one. Through the quantitative consideration of different factors, the carbon emission model of the whole life cycle of a pure electric bus is finally proposed, and the model is cross-verified by sensitivity analysis. Then, taking Hong Kong as an example, we collected the operation data and cost of public transport in Hong Kong and considered the cost pressure brought by replacing its buses with pure electric buses. We considered acquisition costs, operating costs, operating maintenance and repair costs, and battery replacement costs, etc., combined with government subsidy programs, we obtained the relationship between the relevant replacement costs and the number of replacements. Then, we consider whether our model in Hong Kong, New York, and London can provide reference opinions for replacing pure electric buses in these cities. In addition, with the support of a large number of data, we have formulated a government-funded timetable for the replacement of pure electric buses in three cities within ten years, which has a certain reference value. Finally, considering the current situation of buses in Hong Kong, we propose financial and environmental recommendations to the Transport Department of Hong Kong, as well as future forecasts and prospects.","PeriodicalId":486045,"journal":{"name":"Interdisciplinary Humanities and Communication Studies","volume":"356 11‐12","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140698023","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

During the Anti-Japanese War, due to the unprecedentedly serious national crisis, the nationalist thought of nationalism continued to awaken. Both the Kuomintang and the Communist Party advocated national unity and encouraged the army and the people in their own different ways. So far, the historical context of clarifying nationalist thought has obviously shifted from the contradiction between “Han people and barbarians” to the contradiction between the Chinese nation and foreign invaders. Therefore, it is not difficult for us to glimpse a modern context from the evolution of modern nationalist thought during the two Sino-Japanese War.","PeriodicalId":486045,"journal":{"name":"Interdisciplinary Humanities and Communication Studies","volume":"4 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140697845","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the application of social media in the field of city branding has not received enough attention, and most have ignored the behavior of consumers. This study constructs an empirical research model on the impact of social media marketing on city brand loyalty, conducts a case study on Yantai, and uses a questionnaire survey method to examine the impact of social media marketing on non local brand loyalty in tourist cities. The results indicate that there is a significant positive correlation between the information, entertainment, and interaction dimensions of social media marketing and the non local loyalty of Yantai city brands. In addition, the perceived quality of city brand image plays a mediating role in this relationship.","PeriodicalId":486045,"journal":{"name":"Interdisciplinary Humanities and Communication Studies","volume":"4 21","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140697980","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Existing research supports the positive impact of mindfulness-based therapy on stress, anxiety, and depression. Despite promising outcomes, the limited number of high-quality studies underscores the need for more comprehensive research. Highlighted studies include an 8-week mindfulness program for medical students, demonstrating significant reductions in stress and anxiety, and a pilot study investigating the impact of MBSR on individuals in substance abuse treatment. In the educational context, mindfulness interventions can improve students’ well-being and attention. A study in Granada, Spain, reports positive outcomes in health, school, and family variables post-intervention.In conclusion, while literature supports the positive impact of mindfulness on stress reduction, further robust research, especially in educational settings, is essential to establish effectiveness and guide future interventions.","PeriodicalId":486045,"journal":{"name":"Interdisciplinary Humanities and Communication Studies","volume":"361 20","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140698352","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Walmsley (2011) explores the problem of concerning some of the key motivators of people attending theatres and establishes that the pursuit of emotional experiences and impact was a key motivator for people going into movie theatres, besides escapism and the desire to move away from the demands of life while relieving stress as Manolika and Baltzis (2020) indicate. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the research integrates a systematic literature review, surveys, and semi-structured interviews with educators, legal experts, social workers, and NGO representatives. The study aims to uncover the extent to which traditional gender norms, legal frameworks, and educational systems impact the rights and well-being of underage females in China.The findings reveal a complex interplay of deeply ingrained cultural norms, gaps in legal protection, and educational practices that collectively influence the status of gender equality for underage females. The persistence of traditional gender norms is evident in urban and rural settings, subtly influencing young females’ educational and career aspirations. The legal analysis highlights significant gaps in the protection of underage females, particularly in areas of gender-based violence, early marriage, and access to reproductive health services. Educational initiatives, while promising, are limited by their scope and the lack of gender sensitivity training for educators.The study’s implications are far-reaching, suggesting the need for a multifaceted approach that includes legal reform, educational initiatives, and cultural change to effectively address gender inequality. The research underscores the importance of collaborative efforts across various sectors and emphasizes the need for ongoing research to adapt and refine strategies for promoting gender equality in China. This study contributes to the broader discourse on gender equality and offers insights relevant to policymakers, educators, and advocates working towards empowering underage females in China.","PeriodicalId":486045,"journal":{"name":"Interdisciplinary Humanities and Communication Studies","volume":"5 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139958683","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
