This literature review, “Government’s Crisis Response and Citizen’s Confidence Reconstruction: A Post-COVID-19 Review,” delves into the varied governmental responses worldwide and their impact on public confidence and trust. It focuses on maintaining public trust while managing public health in a stable economic environment. The study emphasizes concepts such as “crisis response” and “citizen confidence reconstruction,” which contribute to understanding government actions, public trust, and compliance. Using a literature review, case studies, and regional comparison, it offers a multifaceted view of the responses of different regions. Although the study lacks quantitative analysis and focuses primarily on Asia-Pacific, its generalizability may be affected by its limited quantitative analysis. To provide a more comprehensive understanding of effective crisis management and rebuilding public confidence in the post-COVID-19 era, it would be helpful to expand the geographical scope, incorporate quantitative methods, and explore the long-term psychological and social impacts of pandemic responses.","PeriodicalId":486045,"journal":{"name":"Interdisciplinary Humanities and Communication Studies","volume":"2 10","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139959273","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The effects of job creation and destruction on the unemployment rate are examined in this article. It considers job loss and re-employment rates to provide the authentic unemployment rate. Costs associated with looking for work and salary stagnation are the root causes of structural and frictional unemployment. After that, the article delves into the effects of unemployment, including less GDP, tax money, human capital, and welfare expenditure. Fiscal measures such as public expenditure and tax cuts, monetary easing via reduction to interest rates and the money supply, and structural changes to improve skills and labor mobility are all part of the policy solutions that are described to lessen the impact of these factors. This article delves deeply into unemployment’s origins, implications, and policy solutions. Long-term unemployment causes a lot of problems; therefore, solving them will need policies that are well-coordinated in the fiscal, monetary, and structural areas.","PeriodicalId":486045,"journal":{"name":"Interdisciplinary Humanities and Communication Studies","volume":"9 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139958584","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This article explores the development of Chinese fan communities and finds that the Internet, a new kind of media that breaks through time and space limitations, has caused this change. Firstly, the development of the Internet has made timely interaction between fans possible, strengthening the internal cohesion of fan groups. Besides, the information cocoon brought by personalized recommendation algorithms further makes the fan communities change into homogeneous groups with similar value orientations and high group identification regarding their respective idols.Meanwhile, the flow economy based on the Internet has prompted fan groups to seek ways to achieve efficient data labor, leading to the division of labor within fan groups. As a result, these previously loose fan groups evolve into rigorous organizations with a hierarchical structure, functional division of labor, and institutional norms. The common emotional foundation—is the recognition of idols; the common goal—is creating internet flow for idols; the field of collective action is the internet and social media platforms; and the mechanism of unified action—the hierarchical and functional system makes the current Chinese fan organizations unprecedentedly strong.","PeriodicalId":486045,"journal":{"name":"Interdisciplinary Humanities and Communication Studies","volume":"4 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139959066","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Methods In August 2023, 112 female residents in Xi’an were selected using a convenient sampling method to research their awareness of HPV, health conditions, and vaccination willingness through self-administered network questionnaires. Results: 82.14% of the respondents expressed their willingness to be vaccinated against HPV, 17.86% were reluctant to get HPV vaccination, and 83.1% agreed to include the HPV vaccine in medical insurance. Among those willing to vaccinate, 44 women aged between 15 and 24 account for 39.3%. The age group with the highest awareness score is 25 to 34 years old, with 12.63 as the average awareness score. According to the correlation analysis, awareness of the HPV vaccine was correlated with education (r=0.312, P<0.001). Besides, the vaccination willingness was intertwined with the awareness of the vaccine (r=0.218, P=0.021) and the attitude towards vaccine policy (r=0.392, P<0.001). Conclusion: Women in Xi’an have a high willingness to HPV vaccination, which is related to their awareness of the HPV virus and vaccine-related knowledge as well as policy recognition. It is suggested that the publicity and education of the HPV vaccine should be strengthened in the future, and a reasonable cost-sharing mechanism should be established to improve the overall coverage rate of the HPV vaccine.","PeriodicalId":486045,"journal":{"name":"Interdisciplinary Humanities and Communication Studies","volume":"132 23","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139387564","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the pervasive emphasis on appearance and the singularity of beauty standards has become the prevailing cultural trend, impacting everyone. Teenagers exposed to this cultural trend are more likely to develop appearance anxiety. Current research has progressively shifted its focus toward the concern of appearance anxiety, categorizing it within the realms of anxiety disorders and depression. This classification places the appearance of anxiety within the broader discussion surrounding psychological disorders. In this article, we will discuss the formation and impact of adolescent appearance anxiety from different perspectives. Personal, familial, and societal factors will all be explored in our analysis, as prior studies have not extensively investigated this dimension of adolescents’ sensitivity to appearance.Given that adolescent appearance anxiety can exert far-reaching effects on personal development, we will examine its consequences both in the short term and over the long term. In terms of the prevention and treatment of adolescent appearance anxiety, we will analyze traditional methods, such as psychological counseling and the regulation of social media use. Additionally, we will explore innovative approaches like art-based therapy, which may yield more favorable outcomes. In contrast to prior research, we have identified that teenagers’ sensitivity can diminish the efficacy of conventional treatment approaches, underscoring the distinct advantages of art-based therapies.","PeriodicalId":486045,"journal":{"name":"Interdisciplinary Humanities and Communication Studies","volume":"43 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139388283","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since the coup occurred only a few months after the election, its sudden occurrence shocked the world and caused extensive discussions among scholars. Focusing on the reasons for this military coup in Myanmar, this paper analyzes it from multiple perspectives. By observing the economic situation and social conflicts in Myanmar before the coup and studying the relevant measures under the NLD government, this paper argues that the NLD failed to solve the problem of being restricted by the military regime and that the military still manipulated the actual power of the country behind the scenes. Some of the political moves by the NLD even complicated the conflict between the democratic government and the military, which caused the military to have a sense of crisis, thus directly leading to the coup in 2021. Other reasons for the coup were the failure of the NLD to solve social problems, such as ethnic and religious issues in the country, and to improve the economic downturn, which allowed the military to stage a coup to prevent further democratization.","PeriodicalId":486045,"journal":{"name":"Interdisciplinary Humanities and Communication Studies","volume":"22 16","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139389387","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
