As a result, a lot of studies have been conducted to into issues affecting their growth so as to cushion them and spur their competitiveness. While some factors have been identified such as capital adequacy and leadership styles, there is need for more research regarding their significant effects on SME growth particularly in the interior design industry thus the necessity for this study. Specifically, the study looked at the effect of leadership styles on the growth of SMEs in the interior design industry in Nairobi County, as well as the relationship between capital adequacy and the growth of SMEs in the interior design industry in Nairobi County. A descriptive research design was applied to implement the study targeting a total population of 174 firms. This study employed stratified random sampling technique to categorize the firms in to three different sections of interior design firms, interior decoration firms and architectural firms as they show different heterogeneous characteristics. Then from each section 10% was selected from the population using simple random sampling. Questionnaires were the main primary data collection instruments. A pilot study was used to confirm content validity of the data gathering instruments while the Cronbach’s coefficient alpha was used to establish reliability. Quantitative and qualitative data collected was analyzed using descriptive statistics and expressed as percentages and frequencies. Chi square test was conducted to test the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. Besides, regression analysis was done to determine the extent to which the independent variables influence the SME growth. Inferential statistics was tested at 95% confidence level and p-value of 0.05. Data is presented in tables as they offer a better picture of results. The study observed that Interior Design SMEs in Nairobi County leadership style involves a lot of supervisory procedures as well as frequent communication which hinders output. As a result, the study recommended that employees should be involved in the process of decision-making. They do not require close supervision nor punishment for them to achieve organizational objectives. However, providing guidance without pressure is required. On a second note, the study observed that SMEs growth in Nairobi County is largely hindered by financial constraints. They are faced with short term and long-term financing shortage to run their operations. They also have restricted access to bank loans to run effectively. As a result, the study recommends that SMEs should establish a cordial relationship with Banks to improve their lending relationship. Further, the SMEs can pursue alternative sources of funding such as table banking or angel capital. By adjusting interest rates, reserve requirements, and open market operations, central banks can create a financial environment that either fosters or impedes entrepreneurship. Lower interest rates can stimulate borrowing for business expansion and innovation, while access to finance becomes more accessible. Stable inflation and exchange rates reduce uncertainty for entrepreneurs, encouraging long-term investments. A well-coordinated monetary policy can thus provide a supportive ecosystem for entrepreneurs, contributing to economic growth and development. The study noted that monetary policy in Chengdu, China, has a significant impact on entrepreneurship growth and development. Lower interest rates resulting from accommodative monetary policies stimulate borrowing for business expansion and innovation, promoting entrepreneurship. Policies aimed at ensuring stable inflation and exchange rates contribute to a favorable business environment, reducing uncertainty for entrepreneurs. In conclusion, the impact of monetary policy on entrepreneurship growth and development in Chengdu, China, is unmistakable. Lower interest rates, stable inflation, and exchange rate management have created a conducive environment for entrepreneurs. To sustain this momentum, it is imperative for policymakers to continue their efforts in fine-tuning monetary policies to address evolving challenges and seize opportunities, ensuring that Chengdu's entrepreneurial ecosystem remains vibrant and supportive of economic development. It was recommended that Chengdu's monetary authorities should further streamline access to finance for entrepreneurs by collaborating with financial institutions to create specialized lending products and credit guarantee schemes tailored to the needs of startups and SMEs. To sustain and amplify the positive impact of monetary policy on entrepreneurship, Chengdu should also continue fostering an ecosystem that supports innovation and sustainable business practices through targeted incentives, research and development initiatives, and green financing options. In most cases, the owner of a building project places his trust in the words of the contract agreements between himself and the builders or project contractors. The general objective of this research assessed the relationship between project consultants and performance of construction projects in Rwanda. This study had the following specific objectives: to find out the relationship between cost management consultancy and performance of Rwanda Urban Development Project I, examine the relationship between scope management consultancy and performance of Rwanda Urban Development Project I, determine the relationship between risk management consultancy and performance of Rwanda Urban Development Project I and analyze the relationship between stakeholders participation consultancy and performance of Rwanda Urban Development Project I. The survey design collected data via the use of questionnaires, while the correlational approach investigates the connection between the variables under consideration analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Target population of this study was 138 staff of Rwanda Urban Development Project in City of Kigali, Huye, Muhanga, Musanze, Nyagatare, Rubavu, Nyagatare and Rusizi District. Sample size was determined by the help of Solvin’s formula. For this study, 103 Questionnaires used to collect quantitative and qualitative data related on Rwanda Urban Development Project I. To analyze the data gathered, the researcher used Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) statistical methodology. The correlation coefficient (R) of 0.858 indicates a strong positive relationship between the combined consultancy factors (Stakeholders Participation, Scope Management, Risk Management, and Cost Management) and project performance. The coefficient of determination (R squared) at 0.736 suggests that approximately 73.6% of the variability in project performance can be explained by the variation in these combined consultancy factors. This highlights the significant influence of these consultancies on enhancing project outcomes.
