However, it is facing unprecedented dual challenges of \"protective decay\" and \"constructive decay\" in an open environment, posing severe challenges to inheritance and development in the process of modernization. In recent years, traditional villages rich in cultural heritage and scenic resources have exhibited strong appeal to tourists. Nonetheless, issues persist, such as low tourist satisfaction with tourism products, inadequate professionalism among service providers, and weak market competitiveness, which hinder these traditional villages from meeting market demands. In this context, exploring the relationship between tourist perceived value, satisfaction, and loyalty can enhance the competitive edge of traditional villages in Fujian's tourism market. From the perspective of tourist perception, an evaluation model of \"perceived value - satisfaction - loyalty\" was constructed and empirically studied. The model consists of three major factors: tourist perceived value, tourist satisfaction, and tourist loyalty, along with 33 observed factors influencing these three main factors, forming a linear structural relationship. The results indicate that, in addition to societal value, various aspects of perceived value such as scenic value, cost value, emotional security value, service value, project facilities value, and convenient transportation value all significantly positively influence tourist satisfaction in Fujian's traditional village tourism. Tourist satisfaction also significantly positively affects tourist loyalty, while tourist perceived value indirectly influences loyalty through satisfaction. The influencing paths of each variable are not identical. Based on this, focusing on the aspect of perceived value in traditional village tourism, recommendations are provided for the development of traditional village tourism in Fujian.","PeriodicalId":45345,"journal":{"name":"Migration Letters","volume":"13 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.7,"publicationDate":"2023-09-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139343231","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Their ability to endure, recover and bounce back from a major disturbance is essential for firms’ survival and development. Therefore, how to cultivate organizational resilience has become an important issue. The paper operationalizes organizational resilience into two parts. One is the process of forming organizational resilience in pre-adversity period, another is the manifestation of organizational resilience in post-adversity period. Using the panel data from 2010 to 2019 and cross-sectional data in 2020 of listed firms in Chinese stock market, the paper employs fixed effect and OLS estimations to study the influence of corporate social responsibility (CSR) on organizational resilience by combining process-oriented and outcome-oriented perspectives. The results show that in context of China, CSR performance has mixed effects on organizational resilience. Specifically, CSR practice impacts organizational resilience through reducing financial volatility, instead of through improving economic strength in the process of formation. Furthermore, CSR practice shows no significant impact on the manifestation of organizational resilience when an adversity happens. The findings support the insurance-like effect of CSR practice. The study is the first attempt to interpret organizational resilience as a compound capability which is developed at tranquil period and manifested at adversity period. It is also one of the few empirical studies concerning the influence of CSR on organizational resilience with the background of a recently happened crisis. It contributes to the body of literatures on determinants of organizational resilience and suggests that CSR practice is a practical way to build up organizational resilience and maintain business sustainability.","PeriodicalId":45345,"journal":{"name":"Migration Letters","volume":"71 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.7,"publicationDate":"2023-09-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139343276","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The problems raised are: (1) Why did Javanese nationalism appear in Yogyakarta? and (2) How did Javanese nationalism in the thoughts and movements of the Yogyakarta aristocrats? The method used is the historical method. The analysis uses the nationalism approach developed by Ernest Renan, which states that the capital for establishing a nation-state is historical and cultural similarities. The research results show that the Yogyakarta Theosophy branch brought cultural consciousness to the rich Javanese past. The consciousness developed Javanese nationalism in three forms: political movements, pedagogy, and andragogy. In the political movement, there was an attempt to form a Javanese nation-state under the leadership of Suryokusumo. Ki Hadjar Dewantara founded the Tamansiswa College, which developed students' personalities according to their talents and culture origin. On the other hand, Suryomentaram propagated the Javanese andragogy.","PeriodicalId":45345,"journal":{"name":"Migration Letters","volume":"21 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.7,"publicationDate":"2023-09-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139343303","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Given the diverse nature of the live context involved in these programs, it is crucial for the hosts to possess strong improvisational speech skills. However, some hosts struggle to effectively handle the various scenarios presented in the program, leading to ineffective communication. Therefore, this study focuses on the TV show “It’s You” as the research corpus and employs discourse control acts theory, discourse analysis, and descriptive statistics to examine the patterns of impromptu speech initiation by the hosts of this job-seeking reality show. In this study, the job-hunting reality show is divided into three stages, with the second stage, known as the multiple interaction stage, chosen as the focus of the analysis. Within this stage, two situational contexts are identified and a total of seven initiation words and twelve initiation sentences are summarized. Furthermore, quantitative statistics are conducted by considering the initiation object and initiation position. Based on the findings, two distinct expression patterns are identified: the suit deepening + derivative penetration + intersectional embedding mode, and the continuity + insertion jump + homeopathic deepening mode.","PeriodicalId":45345,"journal":{"name":"Migration Letters","volume":"23 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.7,"publicationDate":"2023-09-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139343336","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research method is this research using empirical legal research (non-doctrinal). Data collection techniques in this study were carried out through interviews and literature studies. This research also uses deductive reasoning method. The results of the study show the importance of paying attention to the potential for indoctrination of radicalism to children. However, this will be difficult to prevent if the perpetrators of indoctrination are the child's own parents. The risk of indoctrination of radicalism is easier to limit and prevent if the perpetrator is another party who is not a parent. Internal factors that occur and come from within the child. In this case, it is due to the mental condition of the child who is not yet an adult as well as the intervention of the parents who were previously the parents who attracted their children to join the terrorism network. Then external factors that come from outside the child. In this case, it is generally caused by environmental factors, the development of technology and information, as well as things that are not derived from the child's internal factors. This study focuses on a documentary review aimed at addressing the following questions: How is migration research approached in different countries? What is the volume of scientific production on this subject? Within the aforementioned context, the present work encompasses various types of documents published between 2012 and 2022, authored in English, and disseminated through the SCOPUS database.
 To undertake the analysis, a combination of tools such as VOSviewer, Biblioshiny, and Excel was employed. These tools facilitated the identification of clusters, co-occurrence frequencies, and nodes within the network. From the bibliometric analysis of Venezuelan migration, key years of high citation impact stand out, despite a relatively lower output of articles, thereby underscoring the principle of quality over quantity. The leadership of the United States, Colombia, and Venezuela in publications underscores their interest and relevance in this domain. Global scientific cooperation and the Bradford Law reveal patterns of thematic concentration within journals, influenced by prestige and preferences.","PeriodicalId":45345,"journal":{"name":"Migration Letters","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134969636","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, this privileged situation was short-lived as Jordan eventually became one of the worst-affected countries globally. This paper examines the dynamics of Jordan's response to COVID-19 through the lens of Blau's theory of exchange and power in social life. It explores the exchange process amongst the government, migrants and the Jordanians, highlighting how the government exerted maximum control over people's movements and gatherings. Despite these efforts, the government failed to meet people's expectations of safety and basic needs, leading to a loss of trust and the spread of misinformation. The inability to maintain control over gatherings and movements resulted in a surge in cases. This analysis underscores the importance of transparency, trust, awareness, and collective efforts in effectively combating pandemics.","PeriodicalId":45345,"journal":{"name":"Migration Letters","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134969639","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
