To generalize the soft-switched PWM converters, two types of auxiliary cells are suggested. They have two saturable inductors, which are operated to reduce the reverse recovery current of the diodes and to minimize the effective on time of the auxiliary switch. The switching losses of converter switches are very low on account of soft switching. Moreover, the auxiliary switch conduction loss is minimized by reducing the auxiliary switch conduction time. By applying a boost-type converter, the converter is analyzed and its characteristics are considered. The characteristics are verified by experimental results for a 250-kHz operation for the boost-type converter. The experimental result shows that the auxiliary switch pulse width is approximately 1/20 of the main switch for the half-duty ratio of the 250-kHz operation. This result is better than the conventional one at same condition .","PeriodicalId":447068,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of u- and e- Service, Science and Technology","volume":"111 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124005133","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A total of 80 elderly women were divided into four groups of twenty, each of which had participated in a different type of the healthy leisure program twice a week for nine months. First, the massage therapy type of the healthy leisure program was found to be the most effective at a change in falls efficacy. Secondly, the laughter therapy type was found to be the most effective at a change in cognition. Therefore, the healthy leisure program improved flexibility of low-income elderly women and their positive confidence, and thereby positively influenced an improvement in cognition and prevention of falls. Therefore, this study is meaningful in the point that it may be used as a fundamental material of elderly welfare to develop a healthy leisure program taking into account the characteristics of low-income elderly women and to make use of local resources.","PeriodicalId":447068,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of u- and e- Service, Science and Technology","volume":"128 10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128026151","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With satellite networks, it is possible to communicate at higher speeds with more distant areas, and to efficiently manage the employment amount of packets. As a result, many service providers are interested in services over satellite networks. However, satellite networks have many problems such as high transmission time and high packet loss rate. In addition, High Return Trip Time (RTT) also occurs. These characteristics make it difficult to provide high-quality services through satellite networks. Therefore, in this paper, a method to provide high quality service to users by transmitting data more efficiently through satellite network is proposed.","PeriodicalId":447068,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of u- and e- Service, Science and Technology","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129173613","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In many cases, regional regeneration projects for these neglected regions are frustrated by an insufficient budget or difficulties of converging residents’ needs. To solve problems in deteriorated regions, communication among diverse interested parties including administration, relevant companies, private organizations, and residents is required to understand problems and search for solutions. The purpose of this study is to develop a reference model for regional innovation using the case of Hocheon Village aiming at establishing collaborative relationships and finding a problem-solving method through communication. We defined the problem in Sanbokdoro Village as having many obstacles and suggested a reference model for which users facing similar problems can easily follow the entire process, including the solution process through a design thinking workshop opened in Hocheon Village and Corpus analysis. This study has academic contributions in that the extraction of key words based on TFIDF analysis gives a basis for establishing a system that can automatically analyze huge amounts of text data in the field of Corpus analysis involving a proceeding process that deals with regional problems.","PeriodicalId":447068,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of u- and e- Service, Science and Technology","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125164467","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In many countries using BIM-based e-submission systems for regulation purposes, buildings are checked using open BIM-based Industry Foundation Classes (IFC). However, BIM information can be missing and cause problems when applying standardized IFC data structures in Korea. In addition, problems can exist with data interpretation due to the complexity of Korean regulations, causing quality issues in the building code checking system. The purpose of this study is to suggest a predefined specification for improving interoperability of the building code checking system. To achieve this purpose, the authors have analyzed regulations in Korea to derive Property Set (Pset) objects and properties and have developed a predefined specification based on the derived objects, properties, and IFC data. In addition, the authors have verified the predefined specification using BIM Vision, an IFC viewer program, for checking the interoperability with IFC data values. Creating a predefined specification will minimize the loss of BIM data and increase the interoperability of the building code checking system. This study can contribute to the extension of the building code checking system and to the utilization of the modeling","PeriodicalId":447068,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of u- and e- Service, Science and Technology","volume":"94 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124173642","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
