Nanoparticles, nanostructures, nanocomposites are regarded as dispersed formations with unique properties due to quantum-sized and surface effects. The summary of photolithography in macro- and microelectronics is given, underlining the disadvantages of it in fabrication of electronic devices due to the light wavelength limits. The detailed analysis of nanotechnology in photography and printing is made, including micro- and nanocontact printing, or imprinting lithography, for what the short history of Graphic Arts development is overviewed as for applications of dispersed materials. Some perspectives of digital micro- and nanoprinting in nanoelectronics, nanophotonics, security printing, active and “intelligent” packaging are outlined, pointing out the importance of nanocomposites of metal oxides and halides for printed luminescent tags for smart food packaging. Nanosized ZnO was considered as a promising substance for printed application to active and “intelligent” packaging as well as nanophotonic devices. The experiments were carried out in order to determine the influence of the state of a packaged product on the properties of ZnO nanofilms. The results open the possibility to combine the properties of the films in development of devices for nanophotonics and smart packaging.","PeriodicalId":443634,"journal":{"name":"2013 IEEE XXXIII International Scientific Conference Electronics and Nanotechnology (ELNANO)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-04-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117166784","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The substrate is considered and characterized as a thin dielectric resonator. Both TE<sub>01δ</sub> and HE<sub>11δ</sub> resonance modes were activated in the substrates with a dielectric permittivity above 10. The in-plane averaged dielectric permittivity and losses of a number of substrates were measured in a broad temperature range using the TE<sub>01δ</sub> mode. The HE<sub>11δ</sub> modes are proposed for the in-plane dielectric anisotropy characterization. In-plane components of anisotropic dielectric parameters of the (110) DyScO<sub>3</sub> substrate were measured.","PeriodicalId":443634,"journal":{"name":"2013 IEEE XXXIII International Scientific Conference Electronics and Nanotechnology (ELNANO)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-04-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121298466","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A simple multiplexer/ demultiplexer circuit is used for retrieving the resistance field from the pair-wised electrodes which inject the electrical current and the electrodes which measure the output voltage from the conductive fabric. A microcontroller governs the injection of current, voltage output patterns and the analog-digital conversion, from the tactile material. After explanation of the EIT method, the electronics corresponding to the data acquisition is presented and the material characteristics are analyzed. The results show that the spatial patterns of the tactile contact can be acquired and localized in real time.","PeriodicalId":443634,"journal":{"name":"2013 IEEE XXXIII International Scientific Conference Electronics and Nanotechnology (ELNANO)","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-04-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123240771","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The FDO acts on the motor current and its gains are corrected by estimating current, rotor position and speed by fuzzy logic control (FLC). FLC is correcting gain's FDO via real time. A PI speed control was chosen due to its low processing time and fast control. In order to reduce the model complexity, the back-EMF is assumed as being trapezoidal in a simplified machine model. The presented drive has been simulated by the MATLAB/SIMULINK software on the high speed BLDC motor model. Simulation results show that the proposed drive is able to estimate the rotor position and speed with high precision when high speeds are considered. Simulation results also show the reliability, fast computation and excellent dynamic performance with using fuzzy logic for high speed BLDC motor.","PeriodicalId":443634,"journal":{"name":"2013 IEEE XXXIII International Scientific Conference Electronics and Nanotechnology (ELNANO)","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-04-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125007341","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Mathematical model for the scattering of a horizontal magnetic dipole field by a graphene disk is based on the Maxwell equations with the electrically-resistive boundary conditions on the disk surface, where graphene electron conductivity is included as a parameter and determined from the Kubo formalism. It is shown that plasmon resonance frequencies in the terahertz range shift with variation of the chemical magnetic potential of the graphene.
