However, it is not common to find studies that analyse the association between both aspects. The sample of the current study consisted of 143 women deprived of liberty in two prisons in the Region of Murcia, who voluntarily completed a questionnaire that included information ondemographics, prison, alcohol and other drug use prior to and during prison (adapted from the ASSIST questionnaire), as well as depression, anxiety, and stress in prison (using the DASS- 21 questionnaire). The inmates who reporteddepression, anxiety, and stress showed a higher prevalence of alcohol and other drug use compared to those who did not, and regression analysis showed statistically significant associations.","PeriodicalId":44109,"journal":{"name":"Anuario De Psicologia Juridica","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.9,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70894624","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"社会学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A longitudinal pseudoprospective design was used, as if it corresponded to a prospective longitudinal study. The results indicate that 93.2p of men relapsed, accumulating 95,207 new arrests. Both frequency and prevalence prevailed in violent crimes. Criminal specialization is low (13.9p), as is recidivism for violence against women and other relatives. Versatile aggressors (86.1p) turned out to be the most frequent offenders, participating in more violent crimes and achieving more extensive criminal trajectories. Rehabilitation and intervention strategies suitable for particular characteristics of each criminal trajectory are required.","PeriodicalId":44109,"journal":{"name":"Anuario De Psicologia Juridica","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.9,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70894791","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"社会学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

El principal objetivo de este estudio fue identificar aquellos indicadores del formulario de Valoracion Policial del Riesgo (VPR4.0) asociados al quebrantamiento, diferenciando entre violentos y no violentos. Para ello se realizo un estudio retrospectivo de casos y controles con un seguimiento de trece a quince meses. En la muestra estudiada (N = 4,745) se vulnero la OP en el 23.9% de los casos, de los cuales cerca de la mitad la quebrantaron de forma violenta. Los resultados permiten concluir que los indicadores del VPR4.0 pueden ser empleados para la prediccion de futuros casos de quebrantamiento. Ademas, los indicadores referentes a las caracteristicas del agresor mostraron una mayor capacidad predictiva para el quebrantamiento y sus tipos. Se discuten las implicaciones para la practica judicial y policial. EnglishProtective order (PO) violation in gender-based violence cases is a police and criminal act of recidivism that has been widely researched in Spain. The main objective was to identify indicators of police risk assessment used by Spanish Police—Valoracion Policial del Riesgo (VPR4.0)— that are related to PO violation, differentiating between violent and non-violent. For this purpose, a retrospective research comparing PO violation vs. non-PO violation groups monitored from thirteen to fifteen months was conducted. The sample (N = 4,745) shows that PO was violated in 23.9% of cases, half of them being violent violations. It is concluded that VPR4.0 can be used to predict possible future PO violation cases. In addition, indicators referring to an aggressor’s characteristics showed a greater predictive capacity for PO violation and its types. Implications for judicial and police practice are discussed.","PeriodicalId":44109,"journal":{"name":"Anuario De Psicologia Juridica","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.9,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70894678","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"社会学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Over the last few years, research on this subject has focused on conducting descriptive studies, among other issues, on circumstances in whichthese aggressions are carried out, characteristics of the aggressors, and consequences they are supposed to have on victims. Because most of the studies have emerged in recent decades, there are hardly any explanatory theories tryingto understand these sexual offences, so more research is needed. A systematic review of most recent research and theoretical models analyzing the phenomenon of multiple perpetrator sexual assaults was carried out. Research limitsare discussed and other future lines of research are proposed.","PeriodicalId":44109,"journal":{"name":"Anuario De Psicologia Juridica","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.9,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43719423","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"社会学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is therefore essential to analyze the evidence provided by data obtained through the instruments used, what is its adaptation to the requirements of the measurement standards for psychology and how appropriate are the inferences of results. Therefore, this paper analyzes the relevance of including the gender category in the analysis of intimate partner violence against women and the epistemological and methodological consequences derived from its exclusion.","PeriodicalId":44109,"journal":{"name":"Anuario De Psicologia Juridica","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.9,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70894687","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"社会学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A non-experimental study was conducted to determine the relationship between the age of onset and the current use of substances with their associated factors in 53 juvenile offenders. Adolescents prosecuted for sexual offenses, as well as violent offenders, showed a higher starting age compared to other offenses. Furthermore, polydrug use was associated with a higher current consumption of commonly used drugs as well as illegal drugs.
