The actors rely on the story outline and add their own creative improvisation to complete a perfect performance. Recently, this traditional show is becoming less popular due to their high cost such as professional stage, expensive puppets and the preparation time for a show. In this paper, we propose a method that user can play a puppet show on computer. The Leap Motion will catch user's hand gesture and show result of controlling puppet in computer screen. User can choose different puppets, scenes and music in our system. It groups multiple iterations of nested loops into supernodes subsequently assigned to processors for computing in parallel. This paper focuses on supernode transformation on computer clusters, including supernode scheduling, supernode mapping to cluster nodes, and the choice of the optimal supernode size. The algorithms considered are two nested loops with regular data dependencies. The Longest Common Subsequence problem is used as an illustration. A novel mathematical model for the total execution time is established as a function of the supernode size, algorithm parameters, the computation time of each loop iteration, cluster parameters, and the communication cost. The proposed system uses RFID wireless technology, real-time license plate recognition, automatic gates with PLC control, and integrate parking guidance systems. Proposed system can reduce the construction and management overhead of a manual parking management system. On the other hand, it is capable of accurately calculating parked vehicle locations and even can find the parked place. Lively and vivid pictures or illustrations are able to attract the most attention from children and enhance their interest in learning. What's more, relevant psychological data prove that people accept different information and knowledge at different paces. Human brain responds to verbal information at the lowest pace, and the consequent judgement and reasoning is also delayed. However, iconic information can come into people's minds once or twice times as fast as verbal information, from which it can be inferred that pictures can provide some teaching functions superior to languages and words. Information infused teaching can enhance students' understanding of word problems through direct iconic representation. It can improve the learning interest of students, reduce their anxiety about mathematics and improve their learning effectiveness. The research aims to design a mathematic system of animation teaching materials based on iconic representation and explore the learning effectiveness of the students in Grade 4 of elementary schools in the central of Taiwan in terms of the study unit, mathematical word problems. In the past, UDP protocol was used to transfer streaming video but sometimes networks blocked this protocol which made video streaming unplayable. Dynamic Streaming over HTTP has been proposed to use the HTTP protocol instead. Many researchers have proposed algorithms to enhance the performance of DASH with 2 main approaches, bandwidth-based and buffer-based. Both approaches have pros and cons. In this work, a B2-DASH algorithm is proposed to use both bandwidth and buffer-based approaches. The algorithm was implemented and tested in 2 scenarios in ns-3 network simulator. The performance metrics were the average video bitrate, number of resolution changes and number of interruptions. Recognizing a driver's posture is a challenging issue, due to the unstable lighting conditions and occlusion issues in a limited space in a car. In this paper, we propose a driver posture recognition scheme for triggering the 360° media to be displayed on a HUD. Although some empirical researches show cooperative learning is effective, how to guarantee maximum efficiency of cooperative learning and overcome negative effects producing by communication that still remain a problem to be analyzed and studied further. This paper introduces a quantification method to reveal dynamic mechanism and intrinsic law of distributed pair programming, a professional cooperative learning method. A behavior prediction method in pairs is presented from the viewing of game. On the basis of prediction, an automatic intervention method is proposed for irrational behavior affecting results of pair programming. In heterogeneous LTE-A networks with deployment of macro and small cells, cell selection is critical to provide QoS to UEs. However, most of the literature focused on the single traffic and did not consider QoS. In this paper, we propose two Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR) based cell selection schemes named SINR with maximum data rate (SINR-MDR) and SINR with cell load threshold (SINR-CLT). SINR-MDR calculates the maximum data rate that UE can be assigned while SINR-CLT considers whether the QoS can be satisfied by the serving cell. We also take the demand of multiple applications with different QoS on UEs into account in the resource scheduling. Based on a recent survey, over 90% prefer to plan trips by themselves, the results showed that the practicalness and effectiveness of the current design are questionable. In this research, we propose an elder-centered trip recommendation method based on crowd intelligence. This paper uses camera to detect the location of vehicles and that assists drivers in driving more safely through the alerting system. Meanwhile, there were two different algorithms tested in the vehicle detection system, including Haar with Adaboost, and HOG-PCA with SVM methods. The preliminary results of this paper have been able to successfully detect vehicle and track vehicle location. In the vehicle detection, the average precision rate of 39.77% has raised to 82.45%. The vehicle tracking section has presented an improved version of the particle filter.
