A perception considers the supply chain as a key factor of competitiveness. However a rational planning of the parameters of the company and the global supply chain is imposed for the good control of the physical, financial and informational resources. To this end, our contribution represents a step ahead in this direction, where we aim to analyze and measure the sources of uncertainty and variability that characterize the three actors: supply, process and demand. In this article we approach our study with a logic diagram illustrating the logic of operation and the schematization of the causes in order to deduce the proposed new approach.","PeriodicalId":433166,"journal":{"name":"2018 4th International Conference on Optimization and Applications (ICOA)","volume":"97 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115913665","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In an e-Learning environment, and to help learners to benefit the maximum from their courses, tutors are faced with the arduous task of writing answers — containing detailed, useful information — to every query and question they receive daily from their students. The task can take up a considerable amount of the time they spend each day on teaching if the number of students is high and the tutors have a narrow timeframe in which to reply to them all. In this paper, we present a Question Answering System (QAS) that helps learners to find the best answers to their questions and helps tutors to answer questions asked by their students in an e-Learning environment. we present a syntactic and semantic multi-agent approach to question answering in e-learning platforms. We try to improve existing approaches by using multiple techniques in a multi-layer system where learners and tutors with the help of automatic agents collaborate to find the best answer to the submitted question.","PeriodicalId":433166,"journal":{"name":"2018 4th International Conference on Optimization and Applications (ICOA)","volume":"79 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121340837","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, numerical simulations have been investigated on ITO/PEDOT:PSS /P3HT: PCBM/LiF/Al structure with AMPS-1D (Analysis of Microelectronic and Photonic Structures the simulation one dimension) and GPVDM (General-Purpose Photovoltaic Device Model) softwares. The results show that the optimum efficiency is obtained for electron and hole motility values of 10<sup>−4</sup> cm<sup>2</sup>V<sup>−1</sup>s<sup>−1</sup> and 2.10<sup>−4</sup> cm<sup>2</sup>V s<sup>−</sup>, respectively. Moreover, we reported that the ohmic contact for both anode and cathode electrodes of the investigated device remains very important to get the maximum efficiency. In this paper, we have designed an InP/InGaAs Single Heterojunction Bipolar Transistor SHBT using the simulator TCAD-Silvaco (Technology Computer Aided Design) according to its technological characteristics (Meshing, doping profile, semiconductor materials….). We have integrated in the simulation the physical models contained in the simulator to consider the physical mechanisms which happen within the electronic device. Afterwards, we have studied the effect of two technological parameters which are the base doping concentration and the base width on the electrical performance in terms of the cutoff frequency fT. We then determined the optimum parameters in order to define an optimized device SHBT adapted for high frequency applications.","PeriodicalId":433166,"journal":{"name":"2018 4th International Conference on Optimization and Applications (ICOA)","volume":"420 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116531210","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to construct a classifier using a discrete space, it is required for many supervised classification algorithms to perform with discretized features. In this paper, we presents the supervised classification model based on Hidden Markov Model (HMM) developed recently and we review several discretization methods reported in the litterature. We take 9 benchmarking study data set to evaluate the performance and study the effect of discretization methods on the assessment of the proposed learning algorithm. Three metrics performance including accuracy, Area under curve and squared loss are used to investigate the powerful class prediction and to show the capability of HMM classifier in presence of available data.","PeriodicalId":433166,"journal":{"name":"2018 4th International Conference on Optimization and Applications (ICOA)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126875651","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to the shortage of the human resource for expert inspections, an automated detection of faulty points in the infrastructure is highly expected nowadays. Concrete crack detection in parts of bridges is a keen target in the robotic automatic inspection by using a drone with the high-resolution proximity camera. Taking fine pictures itself is not an issue if it is flying in the stable condition; however a micro vibration, intensity and/or contrast instability prevent a measurement under mm width of concrete cracks. Detecting the fine feature via images obtained from the drone attaching on the bridge deck requires an appropriate decomposition of different textures in image such as anisotropic structure, variance of gray scale distribution, orientation of local texture and directionality. We hypothesized that Morphological Component Analysis (MCA) based on sparse coding and the Sobel filter post-processing provides a possible texture decomposition for under-mm-range crack detection. In our experiments, decomposed images into their coarse and fine characteristics components were successfully obtained by using two dictionaries dual tree complex wavelet transform (DTCWT) and discrete wavelet transform (DWT) respectively and the coarse component was treated by the Sobel filter to exhibit the crack in a fine way. Our results demonstrated that the proposed MCA framework with the Sobel operator may contribute for an automation of crack detections even in open field severe conditions such as bridge decks.","PeriodicalId":433166,"journal":{"name":"2018 4th International Conference on Optimization and Applications (ICOA)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127472023","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
