Uncertainty analysis in tactical logistics chain planning: Sources and consequences
In an ever more volatile market, shaped by the multichannel and digitalization of exchanges, companies expect their supply chain to make a greater contribution to achieving their major objectives. A perception considers the supply chain as a key factor of competitiveness. However a rational planning of the parameters of the company and the global supply chain is imposed for the good control of the physical, financial and informational resources. To this end, our contribution represents a step ahead in this direction, where we aim to analyze and measure the sources of uncertainty and variability that characterize the three actors: supply, process and demand. In this article we approach our study with a logic diagram illustrating the logic of operation and the schematization of the causes in order to deduce the proposed new approach.
