We aim to determine whether there is a comparison of hemolysis events and hematocrit quality in leucodepleted (In Line) and leucodepleted (Bedsite) clinical transfusions. This study was an analytic study with a cross-sectional design to compare hemolysis events and hematocrit quality in leucodepleted (In Line) and leucodepleted (Bedsite) clinical transfusions. We obtained sample data in this study divided into 2 groups, namely the group with leucodepleted in line and the group with leucodepleted bedsite inclusion and exclusion criteria of 58 samples.We found that the incidence of hemolysis after leucodepleted (in line) was 0% and leucodepleted (bedsite) was 0.02%, where the standard percentage of blood hemolysis was <0.8%, the hemolysis incident after the production of the two products was very small. While the hematocrit before and after leucodepleted decreased by 35.91% in leucodepleted (in line) and 33.33% in leucodepleted (bedsite). There is a comparison of the incidence of leucodepleted (In Line) and leucodepleted (Bedsite) hemolysis. Where the incidence of leucodepleted (in line) hemolysis is not found, so the leucodepleted (in line) blood component has good quality. Factors that are suspected to be related to the performance of health workers are individual, psychological, and organizational variables. This study aims to analyze the factors related to the performance of health workers. This type of research is quantitative analytic using a cross sectional design. The research was conducted at RSU Royal Prima Medan. The research population was 651 people, while the sample was 100 people. Sampling by means of simple random sampling. Data were analyzed using univariate, bivariate with chi-square test, and multivariate with multiple logistic regression at 95% confidence level (=0.05). The results showed that the factors related to the performance of health workers at RSU Royal Prima Medan were abilities and skills (p=0.015), motivation (p=0.033), leadership (p=0.024), and rewards (p=0.044). Factors that were not related were age (p=1.000), gender (p=1.000), perception (p=0.240), attitude (p=0.163), and job design (p=0.464). The most dominant variable relates to the performance of health workers, namely leadership. Health workers who stated good leadership had the opportunity to have good performance 8.2 times higher than health workers who stated poor leadership. It is recommended that the management of RSU Royal Prima Medan conduct continuous performance assessments of health workers.","PeriodicalId":432290,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Health and Pharmaceutical (IJHP)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126335169","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Clinical pathway (CP) is a disease management tool used to reduce unnecessary variations in services to improve clinical outcomes and to control the use of resources (financial). Acute appendicitis is one of the most common causes of acute abdominal pain, with cases from 20-30% and increasing 32-72% at age of <60 years. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a study on the implementation of CP in the RSU. Royal Prima Medan. This study was conducted by using mix method with a case study design. Qualitative data were taken by interview and observation with case manager, medical committee, and nurses (n = 5) and quantitative data were taken with simple descriptive from acute appendicitis CP documentation in medical records and ICPAT (January - September 2020, n = 117). The level of completeness for CP was 100% and form filling was 85%. ICPAT dimension 1 contents and quality are good, dimension 2 contents still lack, and quality is moderate, dimension 3 contents is good and quality is moderate, dimension 4 content in moderate criteria and quality is good, dimension 5 contents still lack and quality is moderate and dimension 6, contents is good and quality is in moderate category. Where the obstacles are due to lack of understanding and time constraints. The development of urinary tract stones CP is not quite optimal; it is necessary to conduct periodic socialization and training to support understanding in filling out CP.","PeriodicalId":432290,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Health and Pharmaceutical (IJHP)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132503970","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The present study was intended to systematically review the effects of aromatherapy with various essential oils in burn patients. This review was according to the 06-PRISMA standards by searching in the English databases such as Google Scholar, PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and ScienceDirect to find papers about the effects of aromatherapy with herbal essential oils in burn patients with no time limitation. We used the keywords of “lavender”, “rose”, “essential oil”, “aromatherapy”, “burn”, “anxiety”, “pain”. From 6630 papers, 10 articles up to June 2022, met the inclusion criteria for analysis in the current systematic review. The most studies were carried out on the effect of aromatherapy with rose essential oil (4, 40%), lavender essential oil (3, 30%), lavender along with rose essential oil (2, 20%), and lavender along with chamomile (1, 10%), respectively. The findings of the current systematic review revealed that aromatherapy especially with lavender and rose essential oil can improve the anxiety, pain, sleep quality, and hemodynamic parameters in burn patients. Hence, due to the convenience of using this method and the lack of reports of any complications and also the stability of hemodynamic status of patients in this method, it is recommended to use it for burn patients.","PeriodicalId":432290,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Health and Pharmaceutical (IJHP)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130173844","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The imbalance between oxidants and antioxidants is influenced by external factors and internal factors that will affect wrinkling and aging of the skin. Tomatoes contain substances such as citrulline, vitamin A, vitamin B2, vitamin B6, vitamin E, vitamin C, and protein, beta-carotene, lycopene, and water. The purpose of this study was to determine the activity of tomato fruit ethanol extract to increase elasticity, sebum and hydration in the skin of male white mice. Cream preparations of tomato fruit ethanol extract were formulated with concentrations of 2.5%, 5%, and 10%. The test was carried out on the skin of male mice for 4 weeks by measuring the levels of elasticity, sebum and hydration. The results of phytochemical screening of extracts contained flavonoids, saponins, steroids, triterpenoids, and glycosides. The measurement results in the fourth week of each group of cream preparations showed an increase in the levels of elasticity, sebum and hydration and was significantly different from the blank group (p<0.05) and the highest increase occurred in cream with 10% tomato extract concentration.
