The skin may lose elasticity. Research is needed to ensure that currently, we are still looking for plants or foods that contain collagen, which can prevent wrinkles. This research is an original experiment carried out in a laboratory. Two types of variables play a role in this research: independent variables and dependent variables. In this experiment, aloe vera gel was used as an independent variable as a substitute for UVB light exposure. Collagen development, measured in mouse skin, is the dependent variable here. This study found that the standard control group had no collagen growth and was stable. This was because the typical control treatment was not exposed to UVB rays; hence, collagen formation was stable. The group administered 15% aloe vera extract gel had a more substantial effect on rat skin tissue collagen development after UVB light exposure than the 5% and 10% groups. This is because a higher dose of aloe vera extract includes more chemical components that promote mouse skin collagen formation.","PeriodicalId":432290,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Health and Pharmaceutical (IJHP)","volume":"155 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138985321","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Human hair is thinner and lighter than that of primates. The purpose of this study was to determine and test the efficacy of providing a coconut oil and candlenut oil mixture in the process of hair development in Wistar rats (Rattus norvegicus). The study's findings indicate that a combination containing 80% coconut oil and 20% candlenut oil is the most efficient in stimulating hair development in white rats (Rattus norvegicus) of the Wistar strain. This hair growth acceleration is possible because coconut oil contains a high concentration, precisely 80%. Because coconut has a high amount of lauric acid, it has numerous health benefits, including good hair.","PeriodicalId":432290,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Health and Pharmaceutical (IJHP)","volume":"113 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138985361","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a result of rapid development and a prosperous standard of living and health services can increase life expectancy, so that the number of elderly people increases every year. This increase in age is often followed by an increase in degenerative diseases and other health problems in this group. Psychological interventions are believed to be able to change a person's behavior towards a better direction in disease control and prevention. This study measures the impact of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) interventions on self-care management of hypertensive patients.This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest and control group design. The research subjects were divided into two groups, namely the intervention group (35 people) and the intervention group (35 people). control group (35 people). The research was conducted at the Royal Prima Marelan Hospital in 2022. Data were analyzed using the t-dependent test (α = 0.05).The results showed that in the intervention group there were differences in self-care management of hypertensive patients before and after being given CBT which included diet (p <0.001; 95% CI -6.663-(-4.796)), physical activity (p<0.001; 95 %CI -5.344-(-4.370)), and attitude (p=<0.001; 95%CI -13.086-(-10.115)). Long waiting times are felt by patients so that dissatisfaction arises in the service. This study aims to evaluate the waste of polyclinic outpatient services by using a service blueprint to reduce waiting time for services at RSU Royal Prima Medan. This research is descriptive qualitative research involving 89 people consisting of medical staff, non-medical staff, and patients. Sample selection for officers was carried out using purposive sampling, while for patients using accidental sampling. The data in this study were collected through questionnaires, observations and interviews. The validity test of the questionnaire was carried out using Pearson while the reliability test was carried out using Cronbach's Alpha. The results of this study found that the majority of time spent by patients was included in the old category. Researchers also get three types of waste, namely waiting, unappropriate processing, and transportation. Recommendations for efforts to increase waiting time for services that can be done are: rescheduling for doctors, calculating the workload for services that are still managed by 1 officer, planning E-medical records and centralizing them for storing patient files, simplifying providing information to patients, carry out segregation at the poly if it has not been done, and maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance at each supporting facility.","PeriodicalId":432290,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Health and Pharmaceutical (IJHP)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132814286","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
