The process needs to be carried out universal with a bunch of statistical features as the Steganalyzer needs to identify stego images created with even new steganographic tools. This poses a need for the generalization of the Steganalyzer to be enhanced. The proposed approach improves the generalization of the developed Steganalyzer by training it with a group of statistical features carefully coined to characterize embedding distortions that can disturb different features of an image. The designed Steganalyzer uses mixed blind generic classification for identifying unfamiliar tools i.e., not introduced during training phase.","PeriodicalId":431894,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Circuit, Power and Computing Technologies (ICCPCT)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128263768","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A digital image is a part of the real world formed after cycles of image generation process. From the initial days of photographic images itself, security and authenticity were major issues. With the era of digital images, the process of altering an image became so popular. The supersonic development in this particular field helps a layman to tamper the image effortlessly. Powerful editing software allows even relatively inexperienced users to process digital images in a convenient way which can challenge the authenticity. So it is inevitable to have an image forgery detection tool to prove the genuineness of the digital image. Without any prior information of the source and the details of a forged image, the passive (blind) techniques detect the image forgery by evaluating the changes in the properties of an image. This paper presents a survey on the recent passive methods for image forgery detection.","PeriodicalId":431894,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Circuit, Power and Computing Technologies (ICCPCT)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128544241","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Flexural oscillations are excited by impulsive loads such as stage separations of the rocket. The unwanted/ excessive vibratory response can induce fatigue damages in the subassemblies of the launch vehicle. Piezoelectric actuators have the exerting localized bending moments. In this way, vibration can be controlled without exciting rigid body in the structure. The piezo electric actuators are used in collocated sensor/driver pairs to form a feedback control system. The sensor produces a charge that is proportional to the dynamic stress at the sensor location and the driver produces the vibration that is proportional to the voltage applied to it. The analog control system amplifies and phase shifts the accelerometer response to produce the voltage signal that is applied to the driver. A simulated free-free cantilever beam has been integrated with instruments as a distribution of piezoelectric sensor/drivers to carry out the tests, the estimated and measured vibration control compares favorably.","PeriodicalId":431894,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Circuit, Power and Computing Technologies (ICCPCT)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129416762","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

PMIPv6 does not involve the mobile node in any mobility related signaling. One of the most challenging tasks in this fourth generation wireless network is the service continuity. When a mobile node moves from one Access Point (AP) to another AP connected in two different networks, Handover (HO) cannot be avoided. A process switching from one wireless technology to another is known as Vertical Handover (VHO). The proposed algorithm for VHO optimizes the performance of Handover Delay and packet loss. The GPS tracking system is used for location update and system discovery. The Markov based decision is used to identify the best available network to perform handover for seamless connectivity. The simulation results show that the handover latency of the proposed algorithm is minimized than the existing approaches and reduces the loss of packets during handover.","PeriodicalId":431894,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Circuit, Power and Computing Technologies (ICCPCT)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114072933","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Conventional waste heat recovering techniques mostly use ThermoElectric Generators (TEG), for conversion of heat energy into electrical energy. In this paper a non-isolated high step-up DC-DC power converter with switched capacitor cells is proposed for the ThermoElectric power generation systems. The non-isolated high step-up DC-DC converter has the advantage of good output regulation and switched capacitor converter provides a high voltage gain. Hence, the proposed converter has high voltage gain and excellent voltage regulation. Additionally, Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) using the Perturb and Observe (P&O) and Incremental Conductance (INC) techniques are used to track maximum power from the TEG. This paper presents the design and simulation of the proposed converter with tracking controller using PSIM.","PeriodicalId":431894,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Circuit, Power and Computing Technologies (ICCPCT)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121437411","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

AC-DC converters will introduce harmonics to the input current waveform as it contains nonlinear elements, so a suitable control technique is required to smoothen the input current to reduce harmonics. For high power applications, Bridgeless interleaved (BLIL) AC-DC converter is a preferred choice. In this paper, a comparison of different control techniques that can be used for power factor correction is presented. The comparison is done with THD of supply current, supply distortion factor and supply power factor. Simulation of a BLIL converter is carried out in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment using various control techniques and the results are presented.","PeriodicalId":431894,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Circuit, Power and Computing Technologies (ICCPCT)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114827898","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, a high-capacity audio watermarking system is used to embed data and extract them using singular value decomposition (SVD). With the help of SVD-based algorithms and by using lifting wavelet transform (LWT), discrete cosine transform (DCT) and discrete wavelet transform (DWT). DCT-SVD, DWT-SVD, DWT-DCT-SVD, LWT-DCT-SVD techniques are developed. It was observed that by increasing the quantization levels the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) value decreases exponentially which leads to distortion in the original signal. It is also observed that robustness is also increased by applying different malicious attacks like re-sampling, re-quantization, echo addition, cropping, additive white gaussian noise (AWGN), signal addition and signal subtraction to the embedded signal which doesn't disturb the original signal and the extracted image. The performance of this technique is evaluated using bit error rate (BER), cross-correlation (CC) and SNR.","PeriodicalId":431894,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Circuit, Power and Computing Technologies (ICCPCT)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-03-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114845024","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
