In fact, the robot is controlled in order to follow a desired trajectory given by applying a well-defined control law. However, faults when appeared may affects the actual trajectory and may lead to unacceptable results. To overcome some drawbacks, we design an Extented Kalman Filter (EKF) to diagnosis eventual faults. Then, the performance of an estimator based on an EKF is simulated based MATLAB Simulink simulations. Finally, the estimated state will then be used for system control purposes.","PeriodicalId":430966,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 21st international Ccnference on Sciences and Techniques of Automatic Control and Computer Engineering (STA)","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114783182","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this study, intersection assist (IA) function is developed to establish V2X communication in a vehicular network. Various tools are integrated into the co-simulation environment to execute the simulation. The main goal is to simulate different communication types, such as vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I), so several scenarios are created to simulate V2X communication. In Simulation of Urban Mobility (SUMO), simulations are performed for the given scenarios which are based on model-based systems engineering (MBSE) approach. Controllers are built in Simulink and used to control vehicles in SUMO, while Virtual Test Drive (VTD) is used to visualize the simulation in a 3D environment. Model.CONNECT™ is used to run each of these several tools simultaneously. MBSE section of this paper addresses the first major steps of system specification which are use case generation and requirement elicitation. Afterwards, specified use cases and requirements are modeled with systems modeling language (SysML) diagrams. The developed methodology shows that MBSE provides highly efficient advantages for the design of complex systems in terms of utilizing interconnectedness and traceability. Additionally, V2X impacts on the IA is analysed.","PeriodicalId":430966,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 21st international Ccnference on Sciences and Techniques of Automatic Control and Computer Engineering (STA)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126475192","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

On the other side, the cost of generating propulsive energy is still very expensive for the world economy, especially with the instability of the barrel price. Today, investing in research related to the integration of renewable energy in end - use sectors is no longer a choice. Indeed, emissions regulations around the world have been geared towards finding sustainable energy resources for the transport sector. This paper presents a state-of-the-art about renewable energy exploitation, mainly photovoltaic (PV) systems, for urban transport sector. In fact, the paper discusses the efficiency of PV incorporation in commercial bus framework and its contribution to the power supply process. In addition, research opportunities are outlined for the case study of a diesel bus in Tunisia.","PeriodicalId":430966,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 21st international Ccnference on Sciences and Techniques of Automatic Control and Computer Engineering (STA)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130689237","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Mapping and coding techniques are the basic criteria to improve system data rate with no need to expand the located bandwidth for Orthogonal Space-Time Block Code (OSTBC) wireless communications systems with Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) techniques. This work concentrates on evaluating the Bit-Error-Rate (BER) performance of uncoded and Trellis Coded Modulation (TCM) OSTBC MIMO systems of $2times2,2times3$, and $4times 4$ serialized with QPSK over various wireless channels namely, AWGN, Rician, and Rayleigh fading wireless communications channels. In this article, the conducted simulation outcomes show that more $mathbf{Eb}/mathbf{No}$ power is required for uncoded QPSK to perform at the same level as the BER performance of TCM-coded QPSK. On average, about 3 $mathbf{dB}$ gain was achieved due to the use of the TCM technique in the system model. Furthermore, the system performs better in the case of using AWGN channel concerning both uncoded and TCM-coded QPSK.","PeriodicalId":430966,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 21st international Ccnference on Sciences and Techniques of Automatic Control and Computer Engineering (STA)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124182912","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, a hybrid system that was suggested to supply the Tajarhi village clinic, using the PVsyst software was proposed. This work contains two main points, the first one is to size the clinic's appliances, lamps, and solar system components, to know the value of the required energy daily in kilowatts, to prove reliability and stability for the electrical appliances working, and to provide surplus energy for charging the batteries. The second is to supervise the hybrid system of this clinic in three mods, as the method of control and management in these modes was explained in part III. The Proposed Framework Is Implemented Through PVSyst Software and Simulation Results are Present to Prove the Efficiency of the Proposed Hybrid System.","PeriodicalId":430966,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 21st international Ccnference on Sciences and Techniques of Automatic Control and Computer Engineering (STA)","volume":"88 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116542422","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
