The year 2021 is marked with the maximum amount of annual precipitation recorded during the whole period of meteorological-climatic measurements, and this fact determined the hydrological regime with rich flows during the year. The aim of the research was to establish the degree of anthropogenic impact of urban settlements on the river under the conditions of a special hydrological regime. The research results confirm the advanced degree of pollution of the river with mineral forms of nitrogen and phosphorus, and the urban centers in the river valley - Calarasi, Straseni, Chisinau and Anenii Noi, are the main sources of pollution.","PeriodicalId":430591,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova Life Sciences","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129036995","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Regardless of the causes that generate and maintain such a situation, it is certain that quality and efficient renovations are needed, based on fundamental scientific research. The target group consisted of 174 terrestrial vertebrate species that are part of Moldova's fauna and whose mitogenomes are included in the global RefSeq database. The dominant relief is the sculptural one, characterized by asymmetric valleys, formed on a generally monoclinal structure. The accelerated evolution of the hydrographic network with a subsequent character determined the development of the cuesta relief, in which short and steep slopes can be distinguished on one side (cuesta front), and on the other long and gentle slopes (cuesta reverse). The soil cover is specific to the forest-steppe zone, the gray forest soils being dominant.
