In general, unstructured abstracts must be differentiated from structured abstracts. While the latter follow a clear and obvious structure (e.g., background, aim, methods, results, conclusion), unstructured abstracts are basically written the same way but without this obvious structure. Abstracts are generally written in past tense and the third person, and must follow the instructions provided by each journal or conference. Importantly, the key message of the abstract should align to the main manuscript and should not contain any other or irrelevant information. Considerations relevant before preparing the manuscript are presented (i.e., preparation of a bulleted outline), and tips are provided for choosing an appropriate and catchy title. When preparing a manuscript, the introduction section is often too long. Here, authors should directly present the scientific/clinical problem, current knowledge on the topic, and the research question, followed by a clear hypothesis. The methods section should be prepared as a detailed recipe in order to make the study reproducible for others. The results section should focus on the primary and secondary endpoints of the study, with key results highlighted in figures and tables. In the discussion section, these endpoints should be discussed on the basis of current literature after a short summary of the main findings. The methodology section should address the measurement methods and experimental setup. Dabei kommen hauptsächlich mobile Applikationen, die mit künstlicher Intelligenz (KI) und Sensorik verknüpft sind, zum Einsatz. Die entsprechenden Systeme können den Patienten standardisierte Übungen individuell vorschlagen und über die Rückkopplung den Rehabilitationsprozess den aktuellen Fähigkeiten des Patienten anpassen. Mit Hilfe von maschinellem Lernen können KI-Systeme außerdem dazu beitragen, den gesamten Rehabilitationsprozess fortlaufend zu optimieren und langfristig die Ergebnisse für die Patienten zu verbessern. Zudem kann der Einsatz von virtueller Realität die Rehabilitation auf verschiedene Weisen (Ablenkung von Schmerz, herausfordernde Umgebung für Gleichgewicht und Koordination) unterstützen. Bislang zeigt die wissenschaftliche Evidenz nur überlegene oder gleichwertige Ergebnisse für die digitale Rehabilitation im Vergleich zur konventionellen Rehabilitation ohne das Auftreten von unerwünschten Effekten. Unerwünschte Wirkungen oder Risiken traten bisher nicht auf. Studien zeigen eine Inzidenz von 23 bis 42 primären Patellaluxationen pro 100.000 Patienten pro Jahr. Das Patellofemoralgelenk spielt eine entscheidende Rolle für die Funktion des Kniegelenks, insbesondere bei alltäglichen Aktivitäten und sportlichen Belastungen. Die Therapie der Patellaluxation hängt von verschiedenen Faktoren ab, einschließlich individueller morphologischer Risikofaktoren und der Klinik der Patienten. Verschiedene Risikofaktoren wie beispielsweise das Vorliegen einer ausgeprägten Trochleadysplasie haben sich als prognostischer Faktor für Rezidivluxationen erwiesen. Die Integrität des subchondralen Knochens ist sowohl im nativen Zustand als auch nach knorpelchirurgischen Eingriffen von entscheidender Bedeutung für den hyalinen Knorpel. Diese Gewebe befinden sich nicht nur in einem ständigen dynamischen biochemischen Austausch, sondern bilden gleichzeitig eine komplexe Mikroarchitektur, die dazu in der Lage ist, die alltäglichen mechanischen Belastungen optimal zu absorbieren und zu verteilen. Veränderungen in einem der beiden Gewebe, sei es im hyalinen Knorpel oder im subchondralen Knochen, führen zu signifikanten Anpassungen auf der jeweils anderen Seite. Auch in der Arthroskopie des Kniegelenks lässt sich die Visualisierung intraartikulärer Strukturen mit Hilfe digitaler Bildverarbeitung optimieren. In diesem Artikel wird ein System (Pano™ Scope, Arthrex, München, Deutschland) vorgestellt, welches es erlaubt, aus einem 45°-Weitwinkelbild einen 30°- und einen 70°-Blickwinkel zu errechnen. Zudem ermöglicht es, den Blickwinkel per Knopfdruck intraoperativ zu ändern. Wir haben dieses neue Arthroskopie-System mit den digital einstellbaren Blickwinkeln am Sawbone-Präparat und am Kadaverpräparat getestet. Am Sawbone-Präparat oder Kadaverknie konnte gezeigt werden, dass sich insbesondere die 70°-Perspektive zur Darstellung der femoralen Insertionszone über das anterolaterale Portal und zur Darstellung der Rampenregion des Innenmeniskus eignet. Insbesondere war die 45°-Weitwinkeloptik während der durchgeführten arthroskopischen Operationen („all-inside meniscus repair“, Rekonstruktion des hinteren Kreuzbands und „suture hook repair“ einer medialen Rampenläsion) vorteilhaft, da diese einen sehr großen Überblick über das Operationsfeld erlaubte.
