This paper aims to explore the issues of competitive advantage in a dynamic environment for medical organizations in Romania and Turkey, by studying data from secondary sources represented by national strategies in the targeted sector and the perspective of beneficiaries. The findings of the study revealed the critical nature of realigning resources used in the unpredictable and ever-changing environment in which hospitals thrive to build a sustainable competitive advantage. Using a mixedmethod approach, this study assessed the contributions of patient and market competition characteristics to the perceived competitive advantage of beneficiaries in Romania and Turkey. Data for this study were collected mainly using a Google Forms questionnaire addressed to citizens of the two reference countries, with 237 valid responses. The results of the analysis to simultaneously examine the receptivity of the beneficiaries to the perceived competitive advantage indicated that the differentiation at the health unit level has a statistically significant value. The results join a body of literature that suggests that recipients' p","PeriodicalId":426523,"journal":{"name":"PROCEEDINGS OF THE INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130776720","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Key factors aggravating the energy crisis can be attributed to specific geographic and geopolitical issues, to heavy dependence on energy imports, and to inadequate exploitation of large amounts of renewable energy resources. Renewable resources are essential not only to alleviate the current energy crisis, but also to ultimately provide energy independence. Introducing horse manure into the circular economy can be an alternative for solving these problems. Therefore, this article qualitatively-comparatively analyzes by means of the fsQCA method the answers of 154 Romanian entrepreneurs regarding the interest shown in the development of a business model through the manure produced by Equines.","PeriodicalId":426523,"journal":{"name":"PROCEEDINGS OF THE INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116899048","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

By restricting its study subjects and recognizing specific trends, the article maps the literature. Descriptive and performance studies were carried out on a sample of 2028 papers using the Web of Science database (WoS). The scientific mapping of the conceptual, intellectual, and social structure was performed using the VOSviewer program, which offers academics with a quantifiable and graphic depiction of the job performance determinants and job satisfaction sector. The results indicated that the field's most notable researchers are of American origin, and the most active nations in the subject of job performance determinants and job satisfaction are China, England, Germany, Canada and the Netherlands, with important partnerships worldwide.","PeriodicalId":426523,"journal":{"name":"PROCEEDINGS OF THE INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117179739","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nowadays however global challenges are not missing that turn to be quite influential for the sector and practically threaten large part of businesses. There’s dire need of radical changes in models of work and management, marketing and collaboration on the tourist market. The current paper reveals some potential directions that can turn congress tourism into a more effective specialized form of tourism in the country. Some challenges are outlined that concern: new principles of working out successful hotel congress product; image repositioning of Bulgaria on the congress tourism map; retargeting of potential tourist flows both in low- and high category hotels; bringing forward privately owned local accommodation places on the congress tourism map; using the potential of affirmed regional sites for the needs of congress tourism; cooperation between tourist entities in the region.","PeriodicalId":426523,"journal":{"name":"PROCEEDINGS OF THE INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114945330","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Much has been written on this complex subject over time, which has led to the development of a considerable academic literature on the topic. The paper is part of a more comprehensive study that aims to explore the topic performance management from a bibliometric perspective. The objectives of the present paper are to present and analyze: (1) the scientific production over time; (2) the most prolific and influential contributors – authors, organizations, and countries; (3) the most utilized keywords. To create the research sample, a search was initiated in July 2022 by querying the Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection database, on the topic: \"performance management\". All WoS categories were included without applying any restrictions other than the English language filter. Following this procedure, 6,730 documents were retrieved, of which 6,580 in English which were then retained in the final research sample. Processing, analysis, and visualization of data related to the timespan of 1976-2022, was performed using VOSviewer, Excel and Bibliometrix/ Biblioshiny software. The main results presented and analyzed: citation report; top 15 WoS categories and publishers; source dynamics (journals, books, etc.); co-authorship with three units of analysis (authors, organizations, and countries), and the most relevant keywords (authors keywords and keywords plus). The conceptual structure: co-occurrence network analysis on keywords, thematic map, theoretical evolution, trends, future direction, etc. - are also included in the research, but will be presented in a separate paper.","PeriodicalId":426523,"journal":{"name":"PROCEEDINGS OF THE INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128857058","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Many are trying to save a mountain, turning it into a Natural Park, a water or forest called a Protected Area, a rock that becomes a Geological Reserve or an animal or plant that becomes a Monument of Nature. However, there are more and more people who do not respect this and who, in their ignorance, slowly and surely destroy this world of contrasts of which we are all sometimes so proud. The general evolution of human society was based on the exploitation of natural resources, and the exploitation of these resources could be done due to the creation of more and more advanced tools, more and more powerful machines, more and more complex installations and more and more advanced technologies. The human-nature relationship has evolved in the sense of diminishing the relationship of human domination by nature, man managing to achieve his own environmental and socio-economic environment, seminatural. Waste is one of the most pressing problems in the activity of environmental protection, respectively in ensuring a sustained development.","PeriodicalId":426523,"journal":{"name":"PROCEEDINGS OF THE INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134555677","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are different opinions about the management of the city both from the employees of the local administration and from the residents. From an employee perspective, the city's biggest issues are health care, environmental protection, stray animals and entertainment. City residents say that green spaces, environmental protection, keeping the city clean, hospitals, public transport, road safety and the layout and operation of markets are the city's biggest issues. The aim of our research is to provide an economic resilience model for visualizing the complexity of environmental, economic, and sustainable development. In this way, it is introduced into the discussion of urban space that considers the long-term future of the city. The study of the specialized literature as the main research method together with the documentary analysis shows that there is a close connection between the problems that are discussed in the research and the following: the efficient management of the urban space; improving the quality of life of the inhabitants; efficient management of natural resources; safeguarding the environment; and promoting socioeconomic progress. Our findings show us that perhaps an efficient way to satisfy people's needs could be to change the projects that are being made. We think that first there might need to be enough money, then there needs to be a way to coordinate and manage the money so that the projects can be done. Finally, we present some personal considerations regarding the characteristics of economic resilience in a territorial profile.","PeriodicalId":426523,"journal":{"name":"PROCEEDINGS OF THE INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123476281","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
