One technique to make it happen is Long Term Evolution (LTE), LTE support capacity increasing, expand coverage area, data rate increasing, low latency, multi-antenna, and can be integrated with other systems. To improve the performance of LTE in capacity building, coverage area and data rate, it can use the multi-antenna techniques both on receiver or transmitter or often called multiple input multiple output (MIMO). To ensure reliability and good performance in achieving high transmission rate, it can use coherent detection which requires knowledge of the channel for accurate channel estimation. In this study, estimation that has been used is the Linear Minimum Mean Square Error (LMMSE). Channel estimation is used to find out information about the channel condition between the transmitter and the receiver so that the performance of Bit Error Rate (BER) increase and expand the coverage area of the same BER compared without estimation. In addition, modulation level, train velocity and Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) can also affect the amount of BER at the receiver.","PeriodicalId":426454,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Informatics (ICEEI)","volume":"82 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126751806","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this methodology, a message is embedded in the first characters of list items to create a list-cover. Listega uses filtered cover, which contains only the embedded list items. There are some rooms of improvements in Listega due to several problems, i.e. small embedding capacity and embedding failure in using several index of Latin square that it uses as mapping method. The proposed method uses syllable patterns of Indonesian language as a method of embedding message using Employee Birthday List. It also introduces an algorithm to make an unfiltered list-cover, which contains the embedded and non-embedded list items. This algorithm also makes possible to provide a grouping and a degree of sorting of list-covers. Furthermore, the results of the experiments show that the proposed method has higher capacity compares to Listega in filtered cover conditions. The use of unfiltered cover also reduces the suspicion from other parties.","PeriodicalId":426454,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Informatics (ICEEI)","volume":"189 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114068135","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to limited software testing tools available for free, many developers cannot do a comprehensive testing to the software under development before launching the software. For this reason, this research aims to provide a prototype of a software testing tool that can be used as an initial base model for further development. The tool implements white box testing method that means the testing explores source codes of software under test to find the errors inside. We focus on one of data flow coverage techniques known as all p-uses coverage. The tool is able to calculate the all p-uses coverage percentage of the software under testing.","PeriodicalId":426454,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Informatics (ICEEI)","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125602675","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a part of insulating system of power transformer, PFAE should also has a low risk in term of static electrification that may degrade electrical strength of solid insulation due to charge accumulation at its surface during oil circulating. Charge potential value could describe the possibility of insulating oil in involving on charge accumulation at the surface of solid insulation. This can be calculated from charge density through electrostatic charge tendency (ECT) and volume resistivity. This study using mini-static-tester to measure ECT since it is easy to reproduce the specimen and suitable for standardization. Since PFAE has higher polarity than mineral oil, PFAE has larger charges than mineral oil. Even though static charges are estimated to generate on the pressboard surface easily, generated charges are estimated to escape from pressboard surface because of its lower resistivity. Variation of charge density and volume resistivity of several types (i.e. PFAE and mineral) and conditions (i.e. with-additives, non-additives, unused, and aged) of oil will influence to its charge potential.","PeriodicalId":426454,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Informatics (ICEEI)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131542412","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to fulfil the requirements, software should be well maintain and the quality of the software should be assured. However, once the maintenance activities interrupted by any causes the quality of software might be degraded and this phenomenon known as software ageing. In this study software ageing is defined as a phenomenon of software is not useful to users and not relevant to the environment because of certain causes. Software ageing cannot be prevented but we can slow down the effects by understanding the cause of it. This paper presents a conceptual framework on how software evolution and maintenance, software quality, software ageing, software measurements and indexing concept can be used to the development of Software Ageing Measurement Model (SAMM). This paper also shows analysis of empirical study that conducted among software practitioners in Malaysia. From the analysis of empirical study there are four factors that can cause software ageing. The factors are product profile, functional, environment and human. Factors derived from the literature review strongly supported by empirical research and discussions with expert will be used as input to the development of the SAMM. This paper will explain all the concept that included in developing SAMM.","PeriodicalId":426454,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Informatics (ICEEI)","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134339040","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Robot is required to walk even get any interference of other robots or other disturbance, and keep its balance. In general, robot motion system is built by 2 kinematics systems, inverse kinematics and forward kinematics. Inverse kinematics is more often used for robot motion because it is more dynamic compare to forward kinematics. Robot motion also has to have a balancing system. In this capstone design, feedback system for robot motion balancing is developed using 2 strategy, leg and arm strategy, and stepping strategy. Leg and arm strategy is a technique to obtain balancing by giving direct feedback to actuator based on Robot Center of Mass (CoM). Stepping is a technique to maintain balance when robot is walking. Stepping is done by making robot motion trajectory to make one of robot's legs take a charge as robot support. Robot motion balancing algorithm has been implemented in robot platform Baldhart v1.0. Robot has ability to keep its balance with maximum disturbance 25° in 4 directions. Robot has ability to move in a plane with different height for maximum 0.6 cm.","PeriodicalId":426454,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Informatics (ICEEI)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133832319","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It also has a quick charging and discharging time in comparison to other sources of electrical energy. Due to this advantage, supercapacitors are often used as an additional energy source in an electric car. During regenerative braking, the supercapacitor can be charged and hence store electrical energy more quickly. In this paper, a simple supercapacitor charging scheme was designed during the regenerative braking in an electric car. The designed charging scheme of supercapacitor is then implemented and tested in electric car simulator. The simulator was firstly built based on a previously published simulator known as Protodrive. The main components of the simulator are two direct current motors (DCMs) with a linked axis of rotation. The scheme is then tested in the simulator by using three profiles of a designed road, i.e. one hill, two hills and trapezoidal road's contour. The test result shows that the amount of supercapacitor charging current is proportional to the amount of road profile's slope angle.","PeriodicalId":426454,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Informatics (ICEEI)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133001643","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The task is more challenging when AMT applied to the polyphonic music. Such task required the system to recognize the pitch, timbre, tempo, onset, and expression into a readable music sheet. This paper describes our works in building such system. In this research, the most promising and prominent approach is applied. Those are the Mel's Frequency Cepstral Coefficient (MFCC) as the features and the One-against-all Support Vector Machine (SVM) as its decoder. The combination of both methods had shown very promising results. The output of our AMT system is a music sheet in a MusicXML format with high compatibility with music software nowadays.","PeriodicalId":426454,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Informatics (ICEEI)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115399034","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
