Aviation uses significant amounts of fuel including commercial as well as military applications. Due to environment concerns and possible shortage of fossil fuel sources, the engine developers have considered alternative fuels already from the 1980’s. Though the above mentioned problems constantly emerge nowadays there is no mature technology that could be used widely. Therefore intensive research of the problem is still up-to-date. The main intent of the authors is to focus on the establishment of a data acquisition system, which can reveal the differences in operational parameters of the turbojet engine if the type of fuel is changed.","PeriodicalId":425929,"journal":{"name":"2018 XIII International Scientific Conference - New Trends in Aviation Development (NTAD)","volume":"79 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126323872","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The base of the concept FRABRA is the transition from current Air Traffic Services (ATS) Routes Network to Free Routes Operations in Slovak airspace. The main aim of this work is to define the content, inputs, and resources of the future work for FRA implementation in Slovakia with the proposed optimization model. The work also provides a general guide for researchers to apply current technologies, as Kopernio to search for appropriate resources related to their area of research.","PeriodicalId":425929,"journal":{"name":"2018 XIII International Scientific Conference - New Trends in Aviation Development (NTAD)","volume":"125 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124202832","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of the submitted paper is to perform a basic analysis of the thermal field distribution during various operational modes of a small turbojet engine. As the object for thermal field investigation, a small turbojet engine iSTC-21v, installed in a laboratory, was used. The thermal field has been captured by a thermographic camera. The article presents an analysis of temperature distribution in various nodes of the small turbojet engine, defining critical parts of the engine during its operation, which can be further analyzed for diagnostic purposes. It is expected that this analysis can also be applicable for high power jet engines.","PeriodicalId":425929,"journal":{"name":"2018 XIII International Scientific Conference - New Trends in Aviation Development (NTAD)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123651007","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This was the case for Wizz Air that had to deal with this in an operational manner. High-fledged and several significant flights needed to be cancelled in spite of the high occupancy. Wizz Air did this mainly because of the amount of income and the demand for the product on the market. The latest information regarding the cancellation of the base in Kosice and of flights to Doncaster - Sheffield, Tel Aviv and Cologne surprised everyone. According to statistics, the occupational rate of mentioned flights was 80-100%. It is a very attractive number for the airline based on the revenue. Flights to London - Luton will continue to operate daily and a larger Airbus A321 aircraft with a capacity of 230 seats will be deployed to this line, compared to the A320 with a capacity of 180 seats that was used in the beginning.","PeriodicalId":425929,"journal":{"name":"2018 XIII International Scientific Conference - New Trends in Aviation Development (NTAD)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126373988","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
