In the process, it contains complicated negotiation communication between the two families of the prospective bride and groom. This research uses negotiation communication theory and the method applied is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data were obtained from interviews, observations, documentation and books and journals of national and international repute. The formulation of the problems in this study are (1) why the Genggelang community conducts negotiation communication in the Merariq tradition; (2) how negotiation communication is carried out by the two families of the prospective bride to get a wali nikah. The result of the research is that in the implementation of the merariq tradition, a negotiation communication model is applied between the two families of the prospective bride and groom with the type of principled negotiation. Thus, the bargaining position of the two families of the bride and groom emphasizes the basis of kinship and togetherness. The use of integrative and distributive strategies to produce an agreement. Submission of ajikrama and pisuka as a sign that the bride and groom are getting married. However, the impact of compulsive negotiation communication causes ongoing conflict between the two families, this is contrary to the values of Islamic preaching. Dalam prosesnya, terdapat komunikasi negosiasi yang rumit antara kedua keluarga calon mempelai. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori komunikasi negosiasi dan metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Data diperoleh dari hasil wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan buku-buku serta jurnal bereputasi nasional dan internasional. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) mengapa masyarakat Genggelang melakukan komunikasi negosiasi dalam tradisi Merariq; (2) bagaimana komunikasi negosiasi yang dilakukan oleh kedua keluarga calon mempelai untuk mendapatkan wali nikah. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa dalam pelaksanaan tradisi merariq diterapkan model komunikasi negosiasi antara kedua keluarga calon mempelai dengan jenis negosiasi berprinsip. Dengan demikian, posisi tawar kedua keluarga calon mempelai lebih mengedepankan asas kekeluargaan dan kebersamaan. Penggunaan strategi integratif dan distributif untuk menghasilkan kesepakatan. Penyerahan ajikrama dan pisuka sebagai tanda bahwa kedua mempelai akan menikah. This research discusses Kampung Jawa Tondano in the scope of spatial archeology. Kampung Jawa Tondano is a famous historical settlement in Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi. This village was founded by Kiai Mojo and his followers when they were exiled in Tondano. This research aims to look at the spatial dynamics and cultural continuity of Kampung Jawa Tondano from a spatial archaeological perspective. Most villages in Indonesia are created from cultural patterns. The character of a village based on Muslim residents and becoming a center for spreading religion is called an Islamic Village or Kauman. Kauman is not applied in the Kampung Jawa Tondano, the term kauman does not appear in the spatial expression in this village. The condition of exile status of minority community groups in Kampung Jawa Tondano is certainly a reason for not emphasizing religious aspects compared to tribal identity. Other components of the settlement in Kampung Jawa Tondano that have a relationship with Islamic and Javanese culture are the Al-Falah Mosque building and the Kiai Mojo Complex Tomb. The mosque building adopts the concept of a traditional Javanese mosque building. The placement of the Kiai Mojo Complex Tomb on a hill is evidence of the continuity of Javanese culture.Key Words : Settlement, Spatial Archaeology, Kampung Jawa Tondano, CultureAbstrak : Interaksi antara manusia dengan lingkungan menciptakan bentang budaya (cultural landscape) yang merupakan kenampakan konkrit dari hasil adaptasi manusia terhadap lingkungan. Kajian ini membahas tentang Kampung Jawa Tondano dalam lingkup arkeologi ruang. Kampung Jawa Tondano merupakan permukiman bersejarah yang terkenal di Kabupaten Minahasa, Sulawesi Utara. Kampung ini didirikan oleh Kiai Mojo dan pengikutnya ketika diasingkan di Tondano. Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat dinamika keruangan dan kesinambungan budaya Kampung Jawa Tondano dalam perspektif arkeologi ruang. Kebanyakan kampung di Indonesia tercipta dari corak budaya. Karakter kampung yang didasari oleh penduduk beragama Islam dan menjadi pusat penyebaran agama disebut sebagai Kampung Islam atau Kampung Kauman. Penyebutan nama Kampung Kauman tidak diterapkan di Kampung Jawa Tondano, sebutan kauman tidak tampak dalam ekspresi ruang di kampung ini. Kondisi status pengasingan dari kelompok masyarakat minoritas di Kampung Jawa Tondano tentunya menjadi alasan untuk tidak menonjolkan aspek religi dibandingkan identitas kesukuan. Komponen permukiman lainnya di Kampung Jawa Tondano yang memiliki relasi dengan budaya Islam dan Jawa adalah bangunan Masjid Al-Falah dan Kompleks Makam Kiai Mojo dan pengikutnya. Coexistence like this happened decades ago, when ethnic Chinese people came to Kediri and formed an area around the city center. Some even call it Cino Jowo (Javanese Chinese). Although they are of Chinese descent, they were born and lived in Java (Kediri). In general, there are two conditions for creating social interaction, namely, social contact and communication. The results of this study show that social solidarity and the first social interaction between ethnic Chinese and the Javanese people of Kediri City, especially in the area near the pier, occur in the form of labor. The Chinese employed the local community to help with their work, transporting and unloading the new ethnic Chinese goods from the Port of the Brantas River. This pattern of organic solidarity then spills over into mechanical solidarity. When social interaction between them increases, it indirectly fosters harmony between religious communities. Keywords: Social facts, Social solidarity, Inter-ethnic harmony Abstrak : Nuansa adat Tionghoa dan adat Jawa sangat terlihat di sebuah papan yang menunjukan tulisan Tionghoa dan Jawa (mandarin dan ha na ca ra ka). Hidup berdampingan seperti ini sudah terjadi puluhan tahun yang lalu, ketika masyarakat etnis Tionghoa datang ke Kediri dan membentuk wilayah di sekitar pusat kota. Bahkan ada yang menyebutnya Cino Jowo (Cina Jawa). Meskipun mereka keturunan Tionghoa, akan tetapi mereka lahir dan tinggal di Jawa (Kediri). Secara umum ada dua syarat untuk menciptakan interaksi sosial yaitu, pertama kontak sosial dan komunikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa solidaritas sosial dan interaksi sosial pertama kali antara etnis Tionghoa dengan Masyarakat Jawa Kota Kediri khususnya di wilayah dekat dermaga terjadi dalam bentuk tenaga kerja. Orang-orang Tionghoa mempekerjakan Masyarakat sekitar untuk membantu pekerjaanya, mengangkut serta membongkar dagangan etnis cina yang baru datang dari Pelabuhan Sungai Brantas. Dari pola solidaritas organic ini kemudian merembah ke solidaritas mekanik. Ketika interaksi sosial diantara mereka semakin meningkat, secara tidak langsung menumbuhan keharmonisan dan kerukunan antarumat beragama. Kepemimpinan transformasional tidak hanya melibatkan aspek manajerial, tetapi juga berfokus pada pembentukan karakter, moralitas, dan spiritualitas santriwati. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan memahami dampak positif kepemimpinan transformasional pimpinan pesantren dalam membentuk generasi religius di Pesantren Tahfizh Daarul Qur’an Surakarta. The lack of written sources in developing Islamic historiography is one of the challenges recognized by Islamic historiography. The majority of Islamic historiography in Bolaang Mongondow continues to employ colonial material as a primary basis to construct how Islamic history is told. Nevertheless, the legitimacy of colonial data/historiography must still be questioned. Furthermore, the reconstruction of Islamic Historiography in Bolaang Mongondow can be described as unmoved, with the historical narrative limited to discussions based solely on written sources. Oral history is offered as an alternative to exploring Islamic history through interviews. As a consequence, Islamic historiography, particularly in the Bolaang Mongondow region, will present an innovative interpretation of Indonesian-centric Islamic historiography by emphasizing the roles of ordinary citizens rather than notable figures in its historical story. Key Words : Historical Approach, Oral Method, Decolonization Abstrak: Historiografi Islam di Bolaang Mongondow Sulawesi Utara saat ini masih belum massive digali untuk menampilkan jejak Sejarah Islam di Bolaang Mongondow. Salah satu permasalahan Historiografi Islam yang dihadapi adalah kurangnya sumber-sumber tertulis dalam Menyusun historiografi Islam tersebut. Sebagian besar historiografi Islam di Bolaang Mongondow masih bergantung data kolonial sebagai sumber primer untuk menyusun bagaimana Sejarah Islam di narasikan. Padahal data/historiografi kolonial masih perlu dikritisi dan pertanyakan kembali keabsahannya. Akhirnya rekonstruksi Historiografi Islam di Bolaang Mongondow bisa dikatakan stagnan dengan narasi Sejarah yang terbatas pada pembahasan-pembahasan yang memiliki data tertulis saja. Sejarah lisan hadir sebagai alternative untuk menggali Sejarah Islam dengan metode wawancaranya. Hasilnya Historiografi Islam khusunya di wilayah Bolaang Mongondow akan menampakan wajah baru mengenai Historiografi Islam yang Indonesia sentris dengan menampilkan peran orang biasa daripada peran-peran orang besar dalam narasi sejarahnya. The approach used in this article is a qualitative approach using philosophical analysis. The primary Data of this study were taken from the manuscript of the state of Pancasila as Dar Al-‘Ahdi wa al-Shahadah published by the Central Board of Muhammadiyah. The results showed that the state of Pancasila as Dar Al - ' Ahdi wa Al-Shahadah decided by Muhammadiyah at the 47th Congress in 2015 in Makassar showed that the state of Pancasila is the result of national consensus and a proving ground to be a safe and peaceful country. For Muhammadiyah in the text of the Pancasila state decision as Dar al - ' Ahdi wa as-Shahadah, Pancasila as the basis of the state also contained Islamic and Indonesian values at the same time.Key Words: Pancasila State, Dar al-‘Ahdi wa as-Syahadah, Islamism.Abstrak: Artikel ini bertujuan untuk melihat gagasan Negara Pancasila sebagai Dar al-‘Ahdi wa as-Syahadah sebagai respon Muhammadiyah terhadap ideologi Islam politik atau Islamisme. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan kajian kepustakaan dengan pendekatan analisis tematik terhadap dokumen Keputusan Muhammadiyah tentang Negara Pancasila sebagai Dar al-‘Ahdi wa as-Syahadah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Negara Pancasila sebagai Dar Al-‘Ahdi wa Al-Syahadah yang digagas Muhammadiyah mengandung pengertian bahwa Negara Pancasila sudah merupakan rumusan final sebagai kesepakatan bersama di atas Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia. One of the factors is the debate between Islamic scholars on hadiths related to leadership. Ibn Kamāl, a scholar who was also a Turkish bureaucrat, was the first cleric who gave commentaries on hadits in Riyāḍu al-Ṣālihīn, including those in leadership theme. He was close to the throne during his life, and some said he had released some fatwas that enabled the sultan’s policies. Having learned about his unique background, this study aims to provide explanations about Ibn Kamal’s concept of leadership based on his commentaries on hadits in Riyāḍu al-Ṣālihīn and the influence of the political milieu in the hadith commentaries. Therefore, this study employs a thematic and historical-sociological approach to analyze the data. It results in some findings that according to Ibn Kamal, leadership is a process performed by its elements to achieve the collective purpose. Leadership expressed by the term imārah refers to leadership within the scope of government. Therefore, leaders and people must fulfil their obligations to realise good governance. Although this syarah was written in a context in which Ibn Kamal was very close to the ruler, even he was part of it, but the political context did not influence him in the explanation of the leadership hadith he wrote. Key Words: Ibn Kamāl, Imārah, hadith commentary Abstrak: Selama berabad-abad, dinamika tentang konsep kepemimpinan dalam Islam telah diperdebatkan. Salah satu faktornya adalah perbedaan antara ulama Islam dalam memahami hadits yang berkaitan dengan kepemimpinan. Ibn Kamāl, seorang ulama yang juga seorang birokrat Turki, adalah ulama pertama yang memberikan komentar tentang hadits dalam Riyāḍu al-Ṣālihīn, termasuk yang bertema kepemimpinan. Dia dekat dengan takhta selama hidupnya, dan dikabarkan bahwa dia telah mengeluarkan beberapa fatwa yang memuluskan kebijakan sultan. Where the term Islamism here is often referred to as Political Islam. Islamism is a movement that makes Islam the basis of its struggle, including organizing the government. Islamism aims to revive Islamic law. But this reemergence of Islamism is not an emergence by Faith but by political claims. Islamism here longs for a historical revival and the glory of Islam, but this endeavor is a fabricated tradition. The emergence of Islamism in Islamic politics is a response to the existence of modernity understood as Western and foreign because it fails to fulfill Islamic interests as understood by Islamism. This failure of Islamism led to a shift towards Neo-fundamentalism towards the end of the 1980s. The neo-fundamentalism movement is very anti-Western. In the Islamic view, pornography is certainly strictly prohibited because it has an impact on moral decadence for the perpetrator. In Islamic studies, there is no clear mention of pornography because what is explained is only the issue of aurat and the consequences of adultery behavior that can damage the cultivation of life if not anticipated. Analysis of pornography in the current context must get answers from religious teachings so that the problems faced can be solved humanely so that the interpretation developed is not based on assumptions but through Islamic normative studies. Dalam pandangan Islam, pornografi tentu sangat dilarang karena berdampak pada dekadensi moral bagi pelakunya. Dalam kajian keislaman tidak disebutkan secara jelas tentang pornografi karena yang dijelaskan hanya persoalan aurat dan akibat yang ditimbulkan dari perilaku perzinahan yang dapat merusak tatanam kehidupan apabila tidak diantisipasi. Analisis tentang pornografi dalam konteks kekinian harus mendapat jawaban dari ajaran keagamaan agar persoalan yang dihadapi dapat diselesaikan secara manusiawi sehingga interpretasi yang dikembangkan bukan atas dasar asumsi akan tetapi melalui kajian normatif keislaman. Stuart Hall's perspective on cultural identity and diaspora stress that these are significant concerns for anyone struggling the identity. This paper also examines the notions of a homeland the Javanese Muslims of Ponorogo diaspora in Johor, Malaysia, has held over the past 110 years. What do these notions entail, which developments were essential to their continuity and change, and in what way are current notions of a homeland related to the present-day status and position of the Javanese Muslims of Ponorogo the local society? The cultural changes of the Ponorogo Muslims diaspora in Johor maintained their cultural identity and social harmony with the local society. This research aims to look further at the negotiation process of cultural identity among Ponorogo Muslims in their tradition. The tradition is a cultural dialectics of Javanese and Malay culture. Even these traditions are dynamically changing to be simplified, the essence of their cultural tradition is not affected. Internally, in Johor, sometimes there are other traditions, but they do not take their Javanese identity off. Key Words : Identity, Tradition, Ponorogo Muslims. Abstrak: Penelitian ini berusaha menjelaskan perubahan budaya dan identitas dalam pengalaman diaspora di kalangan Muslim Ponorogo di Johor, Malaysia. Dalam perspektif Stuart Hall tentang identitas budaya dan diaspora menekankan bahwa hal ini menjadi perhatian penting bagi siapa pun yang berupaya untuk mempertahankan identitas tersebut. Tulisan ini juga mengkaji konstruksi gagasan ‘tanah air’ bagi diaspora Muslim Ponorogo di Johor, Malaysia, selama 110 tahun terakhir. Apa yang terkandung dalam gagasan-gagasan tersebut dan bagaimana perkembangan bagi kesinambungan dan perubahannya, serta dengan cara apa gagasan-gagasan tentang tanah air terkait dengan status dan posisi kaum Muslim Jawa Ponorogo saat ini dalam masyarakat setempat? Perubahan budaya diaspora Muslim Ponorogo di Johor mempertahankan identitas budaya dan keharmonisan sosial mereka dengan masyarakat setempat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat lebih jauh proses negosiasi identitas budaya umat Islam Ponorogo dalam tradisinya. Tradisi tersebut merupakan dialektika budaya dari budaya Jawa dan Melayu. Bahkan tradisi-tradisi ini secara dinamis berubah menjadi disederhanakan, esensi tradisi budaya mereka tidak terpengaruh. Secara internal, di Johor, terkadang ada tradisi lain, tetapi tidak menghilangkan identitas Jawanya.
