Carcinoma of the breast is an important public health problem with its associated high morbidity & mortality. Current reports indicate that cancer of the breast is the commonest malignancy in females affecting more than one million females annually, with an increasing incidence as the women presumably adopt a western life style. Setting and Design: The study was conducted at Government hospital, Patiala, Punjab. The reason for selecting these schools was investigator’s convenience and expected cooperation from authorities in getting permission for conducting the study. The population of the study was female nurses. Target population of the study consisted of nurses from Government hospital, Patiala, Punjab. Investigator selected a sample of 500 nurses by using convenient sampling technique from selected Government Hospital, Patiala, and Punjab. Results: The difference between pre test and post test mean knowledge score was found statistically significant at p<0.01 level by ‘t’ test. Chemopreventive effects are also shown by piperine when it is administrated orally on the animals suffering from lung cancer. The fruits were air dried pulverized and used for analysis. Preliminary screening of secondary metabolites. Natural plants like long pepper are the main sources of bioactive molecules and have played a major role in discovery of lead compounds .The curative properties of medicinal plants of long pepper are due to the presence of various secondary metabolites such as alkaloids, flavonoids, glycosides, phenols, saponins, sterols etc. The bio enhancing effect of pepper species in traditional as well as modern medicine may be due to two major mechanisms; first, because of a nonspecific mechanism in which the rapid absorption of the drug may be observed by the decreased secretion of HCl. Despite the outstanding potential of piperine reported in pre-clinical studies, no clinical trials are ongoing in cancer patients. Stress fractures are common injuries in sports people the result of normal healthy bone being subjected to repetitive loading forces, while training. Normally assess clinically, physical exams like tenderness to palpation, focal temperature increases and pain with various tests like fulcrum, and a hop test. Radiographic confirmation of stress fractures includes X-ray, bone scintigraphy scan, CT, and MRI. However, MRI is expensive and may not be available in all hospitals and difficult to get the immediate appointments. The vibration of a tuning fork has been recommended as a way to locate and diagnose a stress fracture by inducing vibratory pain at the site of the injury. Many clinicians and sports physiotherapist were using tuning fork for initial diagnosis of fracture and stress injuries. The aim of this was to identify the correct techniques used for confirmation diagnosis of fractures using a tuning fork directly apply tests and stethoscope technique for the presence of fracture. Patients were selected all those diagnosed hairlines by X ray with stress fracture of the lower extremity bones who consented to participation. Once identified, eligible participants received a standard history and physical exam including palpation for tenderness and participants were asked to their pain. The fracture site was located from x ray and marked by an “x” on the skin. However, a significant obstacle lies in its limited employment generation capacity. Eliminating poverty simultaneously is also crucial. Financial inclusion among youth should be emphasized in the fight against poverty. A self-administered survey was used for data collection. The research was carried out in two distinct districts of Punjab—GURDASPUR, and JALANDHAR—at two distinct commerce colleges. The sample for this study consists of young adults between the ages of 18 and 25 who are enrolled in post secondary education in the commerce field. A sample of 100 young people from commerce colleges in the cities of Jalandhar and Gurdaspur was chosen in the case of awareness of online banking, Result reveals that there is a strong correlation between respondent categories (economically independent versus economically dependent) in three of the variables: opening an account, paying utility bills online, and online shopping. Opening an account, paying utility bills, checking balance, and transferring money are the four uses of mobile banking that have a significant correlation with the respondent's economic independence or dependence. In the caseof online banking awareness, there is a strong correlation between the respondent's annual family income and three variables: opening an account, checking balance, and paying utility bills. In terms of mobile banking awareness, there is a significant correlation between openingan account, checking the balance, transferring money, and paying utility bills. Ingestion of unsafe water instead of breast milk contributes to about 1.5 million child deaths. AIM: the Association of post teaching knowledge scores of importance of early initiation of breast feeding with selected demographic variables SETTINGS AND DESIGN Pre-experimental one group pre-test post-test design.200 primi gravida mothers who met sampling criteria were selected by using non-probability convenience sampling for the presentstudy. The knowledge of primi gravida mothers were assessed using a structured knowledge questionnaire followed by a planned health education programme.
