We show that these shock waves are solutions in the sense of 1-strong association. Also, we compute all projectable symmetry groups and show that they are 1-strongly associated, hence transform existing solutions in the sense of 1-strong associ- ation into other solutions.","PeriodicalId":416273,"journal":{"name":"Publications De L'institut Mathematique","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-02-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115523861","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For certain ƒ's with both [FORMULA] it is true that the Riemann hypothesis holds if and only if ƒ is in the L2 closure of the vector space generated by the dilations [FORMULA]. Such is the case for example when ƒ = X(0,1) where the above statement reduces to the strong Nyman criterion already established by the author. In this note we show that the necessity implication holds for any continuously differentiable function ƒ vanishing at infinity and satisfying [FORMULA]. If in addition ƒ is of compact support, then the sufficiency implication also holds true. Analogous graphs occur in Kelly's and Mac Lane's coherence theorem for symmetric monoidal closed categories. A coherence theorem with respect to these graphs is proved for proof-net cat- egories. Such a coherence theorem is also proved in the presence of arrows corresponding to the mix principle of linear logic. The notion of proof-net cat- egory catches the unit free fragment of the notion of star-autonomous category, a special kind of symmetric monoidal closed category.","PeriodicalId":416273,"journal":{"name":"Publications De L'institut Mathematique","volume":"69 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2005-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128699126","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In other words, these are the values attained by norms of integral ideals over the Gaussian field Q(i). G. J. Rieger (1965) and T. Cochrane, R. E. Dressler (1987) established bounds for the number of pairs (n; n + h), resp., triples (n; n + 1; n + 2) of B-numbers up to a large real parameter x. The present article generalizes these investigations into two directions: The result obtained deals with arbitrary M-tuples of arithmetic progressions of positive integers excluding the trivial case that one of them is a constant multiple of one of the others. Furthermore, the estimate applies to the case of an arbitrary normal extension K of the rational field instead of Q(i).","PeriodicalId":416273,"journal":{"name":"Publications De L'institut Mathematique","volume":"100 ","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2004-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"113981460","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
