With this feature, epidemics have been the subject of the literary work –which is always sensitive to the world realities and utilizes them in their fictions– and have taken their place in many authors’ subject spectrum. In the works of doctor writer Mikhail Bulgakov (1891-1940), who was one of these writers, you can witness the reflections of medical studies on creativity. A Young Doctor’s Notebook (1925) is one of the author’s most interesting medical stories. A doctor in this story by M. Bulgakov -who was also a medical doctor- struggles with various diseases and epidemics. \u0000The current study conducted in the light of qualitative research methods in the example of M. Bulgakov’s work, A Young Doctor’s Notebook, seeks to communicate both a doctor’s reaction and impressions and the public’s attitude towards the epidemic through the analysis of written documents. The current paper, an example of how a literary work might act as a guide in combating the epidemic and minimizing the disease effects through the medical explanations of the story A Young Doctor’s Notebook on fictitious issues, draws attention to the fact that literary works (medical stories) might contribute to the discussions on the epidemic, especially on the axis of the doctor-patient relationship.","PeriodicalId":41415,"journal":{"name":"Khazar Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2022-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49187729","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study also aimed to shed light on EMP learners’ and their instructors’ perceptions regarding ESP instruction. In this mixed-method study, the data were collected from two questionnaires applied to gather information on the level of learner autonomy, and the frequency of the use of learning strategies; a placement test administered at the very beginning of the semester, and semi-structured interviews conducted with the participating learners and their instructors. The findings revealed that the students were moderately autonomous. Social and metacognitive learning strategies were most frequently used by the participants. Additionally, there was a varied relationship between learner autonomy and the use of learning strategies. However, no significant correlation was found in their proficiency level. Finally, both EMP students and their instructors shared positive perceptions of ESP instruction.","PeriodicalId":41415,"journal":{"name":"Khazar Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2022-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"71006400","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

From the constructivist point of view, morality is subjective and dependent on human beliefs. In the view of constructivists, moral truths exist, but the existence of these truths arises from human existence and depends on human attitudes and conventions. In their view, moral values are not the product of discovery but the product of creation. By Analysis of Mulla Sadra's intellectual foundations, from his philosophy, the theory of constructivist ethics can be deduced. In Mulla Sadra's view, the human soul is moving towards evolution based on the substantial motion Due to the physical coming-into-being in the world, and in the hereafter, this motion is due to the movement of ardent desire. The human soul is the creator of forms, and at every moment it is placed in a rank of the existential world, and in proportion to that rank, moral possessions are issued from it in gradation. This paper explores the scope of blogging in making tertiary level students more aware of a few important aspects of academic writing. The two objectives of this paper were to determine whether blogging can i) enable students to understand and practice the mechanics of academic writing, and ii) motivate the learners to write longer texts. The study was a quasi-experimental research that was conducted by the researcher in the classroom. The findings indicate a significant difference in the way learners understand the mechanics of academic writing due to blogging. The findings also revealed that learners are more motivated to write longer text while blogging. This study recommends the use of blogging as a tool in order to teach academic writing at the tertiary level. However, the lack of familiarity with technology among a number of students in India is still a cause for concern.","PeriodicalId":41415,"journal":{"name":"Khazar Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2022-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43698687","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
