The author points to a specific evolution of beauty, which from the Renaissance to modern times lost its original mysticism of beauty in favor of its individualistic interpretations, closing the need to find divine-human unity in sacred art. This is expressed in the liturgy and the eternal connection with it of the arts, both structural and expressive. Looking for patterns reaching the essence of beauty in sacred arts, the author brings out two Italian architects: Ciro Lomonte and Guido Santoro, who in a small parish church in Sancipirello reached for the primal instinct of beauty in sacred art and, through simple forms, made a kind of sacralization of the \"naked\" church interior.","PeriodicalId":414139,"journal":{"name":"Space&FORM","volume":"18 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138985370","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Intergenerational living refers to multiple generations of one family living alongside each other. It addresses contemporary challenges such as caring for older generations and providing affordable housing for the younger ones. In this paper the author defines trends in Poland, discusses the origins, and analyzes various intergenerational living forms. Using examples of the modernization of a cube house from the 1980s, the author examines the real-life manifestation of intergenerational homes and identifies the recurring functional strategies applied.","PeriodicalId":414139,"journal":{"name":"Space&FORM","volume":"87 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138985199","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The achievements and civilizational progress are periodically showcased at global exhibitions. This article addresses the issue of accessibility for individuals with special needs and the implementation of facilities and solutions for accessibility in the context of the 76th World Expo 2020 in Dubai. The aim of the research undertaken in the article was to conduct a comparative analysis of accessibility within the exhibition space and pavilions, focusing on the occurrence of specific issues within the designated research area. The study also delved into individual cases, considering accessibility in various national pavilions at Expo 2020. The results of the accessibility study, conducted based on pre-established criteria, demonstrated the level of implementation of accessibility concepts within the exhibition space and pavilions from both comparative and problem-oriented perspectives.","PeriodicalId":414139,"journal":{"name":"Space&FORM","volume":"38 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138985163","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Cataloging spatial values and development forms is an element of the spatial policy of the municipalities of the Wiśnicz foothills and the statutory protection activities of the Complex of Landscape Parks of the Małopolska Voivodeship. The method and results of the research presented in this article were developed for the purpose of identifying architectural forms and patterns for the Wiśnicko-Lipnicki Landscape Park. It takes into account the protection of traditional architectural elements in relation to basic types of development and contains proposals for solutions referring to the local building tradition, harmonizing with the landscape, promoting landscape-friendly forms. Neglecting this aspect in multi-family housing estates and the paving of surfaces in new housing developments pose a problem. A case study from Lublin was used to identify factors influencing the implementation of blue-green infrastructure (BGI). Using SCALGO Live software, the accumulation areas of rainwater were analyzed and evaluated for BGI implementation. The results indicate that a direct interpretation of computer simulations as BGI implementation sites can be erroneous. The identification of locations for this solutions requires consideration of many other factors.","PeriodicalId":414139,"journal":{"name":"Space&FORM","volume":"111 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138984785","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
