MWD composes steel tower, trusses, generator, long axis, wind turbines and wheel boxes. Only one generator installed on the ground in the middle of the generator room vertically. Several wind turbines installed to the steel tower of MWD, each wind turbine consists of front wind wheel, back wind wheel and wheel box. Common yawing equipment used for the wind turbine at top of the steel tower. Installed with bearings to the steel tower of MWD, driven by a common yawing equipment, each truss can turn slowly and independently around the steel tower as the wind changes its direction. The mechanical power generated by the wind turbines at ends of the trusses is continuously transmitted to the central axis in the middle of the steel tower via a special transmission. It is for the special design of MWD that the wind energy in both the high air and low air can be utilized, the wind energy escaping from back of front wind wheel also utilized. It is known by calculation that MWD will produce electricity 3.9~6.4 times of that produced by present wind power device in commercial operation.","PeriodicalId":412111,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Future Power and Energy Engineering","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124992614","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Basically stepwise dispatching system is corresponding to electrical network structures and the ministry of power management methods, and also has to be more flexible with future operation methods and able to coordinate with future structure of country power network. In this paper, important hints and tips to improve dispatching situation, is presented besides clarifying the status of Iran power network with the current structure of AOC’s in next 10 years. Since the demand of each AOC is a nonlinear and multivariable function, Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is used for load consumption estimation. Finally total generation need in each AOC for satisfying one of the major indexes, generation and consumption balance, will present.","PeriodicalId":412111,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Future Power and Energy Engineering","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125621249","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, there may be misoperations existed in relays, which could leads to incorrect diagnosis results. With the development of digital substation and application of IEC61850, the secondary circuit signals are available from integrated automation system in substation. These signals may imply control or interlock relationship between relay alarms, which can be used to get rid of misoperation alarms in intelligent alarm functions. This paper mainly concerns about how to integrate these signals into power grid diagnosis procedure. Firstly, we survey the available secondary circuit signals for diagnosis purpose. Secondly, a model of secondary circuit signals is proposed which is an extension of IEC61850. Then, the diagnosis methods considering secondary circuit signals are presented. Lastly, an example is presented to illustrate the proposed methods practical.","PeriodicalId":412111,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Future Power and Energy Engineering","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121026990","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Via the new type of heat exchanger, temperature of the flue gas can be decreased from 130~140??? to 70~80??? for the boilers in a coal burning power plant, from 140~160??? to 50~60??? for the steam boilers in a heating station of enterprises or factories. Making use of the new type of heat exchanger can increase the heat efficiency of coal burning power plants by about 3%, and can increase the heat efficiency of the heating station of an enterprise or a factory by about 6.7%, more than 0.5~1.0% with glass tube economizer or heat pipe preheater. The wet ash deposited on the heating surface of the heat exchanger can be cleaned away at any time by a kind of special mechanical ash-cleaner. Main parts of the heat exchanger are made of acid proof stainless steel to avoid acid corrosion on metal. The cost-effectiveness analysis indicates that payback period of the loan to equip boilers with the new type of heat exchanger for energy-saving improvement may be less than 1.8-year for a coal burning power plant, less than 0.7-year for the heating station of an enterprise or a factory.","PeriodicalId":412111,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Future Power and Energy Engineering","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129025814","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
