This paper presents a new method to estimate transformers pricing. The method is based on multilayer perceptron neural network (MPNN) with sigmoid transfer function. The back-propagation (BP) algorithm is used to adjust the parameters of MPNN. The required training data for MPNN are the obtained information from the transformers made by Iran-Transfo Company during last 4 years. A Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) neural network has been designed for 132/33KV transformers (which is classed as non-conventional in Iran). By finding suitable coefficients for weight of the copper, iron and transformer oil (that are MLP neural network outputs) and a constant coefficient that is related to manpower cost and other transformer components costs, the cost of transformer is estimated.","PeriodicalId":412111,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Future Power and Energy Engineering","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128559533","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We examine a specific real wind farm in China and analyze the WRF (Weather Research and Forecasting) model forecasts with different physical configurations and spatial resolutions. The model short-term wind speed predictions for February 2008 are compared with a real data collected in a met tower in the wind farm at 10-min sampling rate. In our case study, the WRF model run with the MYJ scheme outperforms the YSU scheme, on average. We focus on the model skill improvement for winds above 3m/sec that essential for wind farm companies. Our study indicates that wind speed forecast error at met tower location does not exceed 2 m/sec for 6 km resolution grid.","PeriodicalId":412111,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Future Power and Energy Engineering","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125943668","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These are secondary circuit signals, fault recorder and PMU data. Fault recorder data contains the details of fault evolution, which can be used for diagnosis fault occurrence time, circuit breaker operation events. It is crucial for power grid diagnosis and intelligent alarm functions. However, the analysis and utility of fault record data for diagnosis purpose require the operator's participate and is time consuming. In this paper we design a two stages fault diagnosis mode for future development of IEC61850 and digital substation. Based on this, we propose a hybrid algorithm to analyze fault recorder data with abrupt change detection which can obtain major events during a fault, including fault occurrence, circuit breaker operation time. We use a simulated example to prove correctness and efficiency of our proposed algorithm. The algorithm proposed in this paper can be used as intelligent alarm functions for future power grid fault diagnosis.","PeriodicalId":412111,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Future Power and Energy Engineering","volume":"109 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127070026","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Urban rail transit construction is the key of urban continual development. The main problem of urban rail transit construction is scarcity reasonable evaluation of construction sequencing and benefit in the process of construction at present. The methodology of urban rail transit construction sequence planning is presented in this paper. Considering location condition and level of construction item, the importance degree is calculated by traffic location-node importance model. Adopted the method of clustering analysis, the construction item was split to importance, inferior importance and commonly importance construction item cluster based on the result of importance degree.
