The railway is located close to the transmission line that consists of a combination of overhead and underground conductors and cables. Electromagnetic interference caused by high voltage power lines can endanger the proper operation of the signal and protection systems of the railways and threaten the safety of the personnel under both load and fault conditions. The performance of the system, including rail GPR (ground potential rise), rail-to-rail voltages and touch and step voltages are evaluated accurately taking into account the inductive, capacitive and conductive components. Numerical are presented and discussed.","PeriodicalId":412111,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Future Power and Energy Engineering","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131062454","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Bayesian network was viewed as a classification technique to evaluate fatigue performance. Fuzzy c-means algorithm was applied to perform cluster analysis of fatigue performance values and made them discrete. Low-cycle fatigue tests on certain kind of steam turbine blades were performed. Experiment results well examined the validity of the evaluation model. The proposed methodology significantly provided a possible approach to assist operators and engineers in carrying out online monitoring of blades’ fatigue degradation.","PeriodicalId":412111,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Future Power and Energy Engineering","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134480239","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A given image can automatically be partitioned into different triangles with different dimensions and the bivariate polynomial is used to do the Optimal Quadratic Approximation to gray values of image in each sub-triangle. When the approximation error and bivariate polynomial are specified, a specific image partition result is obtained. The partitioning codes obtained can be used to reconstruct the original image. In general, the smallest the error, the better approximation effect is obtained. However, we should select a suitable error to get the best approximation to original image instead of the noised image. On the other hand, in order to avoid the triangle effect after denoising and obtain a better denoising result, the interpolation method is used before and after the denoising by Non-Uniform Triangular Partition. Experimental results show that this method can obtain a better denoising effect by comparing with other methods to some extend.","PeriodicalId":412111,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Future Power and Energy Engineering","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124172405","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to the tested data and results, the empirical expressions of all performance indexes are regressed under the condition of using R142b as refrigerant, heat source temperature at 35~45???, heating temperature at 60~85???, and compressor output at 2.3~3.7kw. Also the impact of parametric variations on performance indexes is analyzed. Furthermore, an engineering trial is performed by an industrial heat pump abroad operating in oil field. The investigations indicate that massive energy can be saved if heat pump is applied to recover the low temperature waste heat discharged from oil production process. But the operating cost of heat pump system is nearly the same as that of heater system in practical operation. This restricts the popularization of heat pump in oil field.","PeriodicalId":412111,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Future Power and Energy Engineering","volume":"61 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115792429","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It focuses on the principle of the mechanism and the models of some parts with oil circuits in the hydraulic system and the moving principle of the actuation system. The additional damping cavity is used for pressure compensation. The actual mechanism based on the model precisely provides the hydraulic force to drive the valve to move quickly and smoothly at the right time. The modeling is of great importance for the valve movement on variable valve timing. Electro-hydraulic variable valve mechanism has been used in ZS1105 gasoline engine, and has achieved CAI combustion on some EGR strategies. Experiment studies verify that the mechanism based on the model is credible.","PeriodicalId":412111,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Future Power and Energy Engineering","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128687344","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
