Abstract

Small hydropower, as renewable green electricity, has always been aroused all the world concern. In the "Kyoto Protocol" framework aiming to reduce global greenhouse gas as the goal, the hydroelectric project is a very important class of CDM projects, how to strengthen international cooperation to accelerate the process of China's small hydropower development, and improve capacity for sustainable development helped by CDM, in order to maximize the service for our country's economic, social and environmental coordination and sustainable development, is to explore this issue.
