This collaboration is a manifestation of the Study from Home program. Indonesia's flora, fauna and nature are also part of this documentary. The original language of the documentary is English, and there could be meaning differences in the Indonesian subtitle. The researchers are interested to know about the translation strategies and techniques in translating the subtitles for Our Planet documentary series in maintaining the same meaning as SL. Molina and Albir’s theory which consists of 18 translation techniques was used in this study. The study utilizes a descriptive qualitative method that requires Our Planet’s subtitle transcription both in English (as SL) and Indonesian (as TL) as its data source. The researchers discovered 14 translation techniques, which include established equivalent techniques that have become the most commonly used technique, accounting for 50.6 percent of all techniques used. The writer used Betty Azar’s types of error theory and Richards’ sources of error theory. The method used in this study was a descriptive analysis method to describe students’ errors and analyze the data. The research findings show that add a word error holds the first position in the most dominant errors made by the seventh-grade students of SMP Trisula Perwari 2 with 154 errors or 20% followed by other types of error with the total error of verb tense is 114 errors or 15% and spelling is 93 errors or 12%. In addition, the writer found that the students’ errors caused by interlingual transfer and intralingual transfer. The most frequent source of errors affecting the students in making recount text is intralingual transfer with a total of 437 errors (57%), which is followed by interlingual transfer in the second position with a total of 328 errors (43%). Key Words: Error Analysis, Writing, Recount Text.Abstrak - Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis kesalahan yang paling dominan dibuat oleh siswa kelas tujuh SMP Trisula Perwari 2 dalam menulis teks recount dan sebab dari kesalahan-kesalahan tersebut. Penulis menggunakan teori jenis kesalahan milik Betty Azar dan teori sumber kesalahan milik Richards. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif untuk menjelaskan kesalahan siswa dan menganalisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis kesalahan add a word berada di posisi pertama dalam jenis kesalahan paling dominan yang dilakukan oleh siswa kelas tujuh SMP Trisula Perwari 2 dengan 154 kesalahan atau 20% diikuti oleh jenis kesalahan lainnya dengan total kesalahan verb tense adalah 114 kesalahan atau 15% dan spelling adalah 93 kesalahan atau 12%. Selain itu, penulis menemukan bahwa kesalahan siswa disebabkan oleh interlingual transfer dan intralingual transfer. This was viewed from three dimensions (Ideal L2 Self, Ought-to L2 Self, and L2 Learning Experience) of the L2 Motivational Self System framework of Dörnyei (2005, 2009). A quantitative research approach was employed through a survey study design to achieve the aim of the study. A total of 27 close-ended questionnaire items with a 5-point Likert Scale was administered to 79 participants. The main findings revealed that the motivation level of students held a moderate rate ( 3.53, SD = .870). Further description, 70% of students had a moderate level, and 30% reached a high level. Additionally, it found that the students were dominantly motivated by the L2 Learning Experience (= 3.67, SD = .756). It indicated that the motivation came from learning experiences and situations around students. While the Ideal L2 Self (= 3.63, SD = .878) was ranked in the second position, and Ought-to L2 Self (= 3.29, SD = .977) followed in the third position. The objectives of this study are 1) To find the types of the presupposition that used in the main characters in frozen movie script. 2) To describe the interpretation meaning of the presuppositions that found in Frozen movie script. This study is qualitative research applying content analysis. The data analysis was conducted by watching the movie from beginning until the end. In this research, the writer used distributional method to select utterance in the movie script to classify the data into kinds of presupposition and writer also used distributional method to analyze the data. The findings of this research are 50 utterance were found, there are 15 existential presupposition, 4 factive presupposition, 2 non factive presupposition,9 lexical presupposition, 17 structural presupposition, and 3 counterfactual presupposition. To know the interpretation meaning of presupposition the writer watching the movie from the beginning until the end of the movie, she read and analyze the script of the movie, then she relates to the situation and context that occurs in the storyline. This research used descriptive qualitative method to analyze the data. The data are the scenes and the dialogs of the main character that contains the characteristic of love, types of love. The result of this study reveal that: (1) There are 3 characteristics of love in Aladdin movie, they are trust, healing, and teamwork. (2) There 7 types of love in Aladdin movie, there are eros, philia, storge, agape, ludus, pragma, and philautia. (3) The moral message contained in the movie; the true love has their ways to find their soul. Aladdin falling in love with Princess Jasmine. The research used quantitative approach and the method was correlational research. The population was the eighth-grade students of SMP Islam Malahayati Jakarta. The sample of 26 students were randomly selected. The data of the students’ behavioral engagement were collected by using the questionnaire which was adopted from Miserandino’s BEQ, while the data of students’ speaking skill were collected by using the speaking test which had been validated by the expert judgment. The result shows that there is a positive significant correlation between students’ behavioral engagement and their speaking skill. It can be proven from the result of rxy = 0.698 is higher than rtable = 0.388 and tcount = 4.770 is higher than ttable = 1.7109. Coefficient determination shows that (0.698)2×100% = 48.72% so that students’ behavioral engagement contributes 48.72% towards their speaking skill. It can be concluded that there is a positive significant correlation between students’ behavioral engagement and students’ speaking skill. The population in this study was students of class X State Senior High School in Cibinong and the sample was 120 students. The sampling technique was processed using a simple random sampling method. Descriptive statistical methods were used in this research. The research instrument used was a questionnaire on students' vocabulary mastery, reading habits, and a descriptive text writing skill test. Data analysis used SPSS version 25, the significant level of = 0.05. The requirement analysis use normality test, homogeneity test, two-way ANOVA. To advertise a beauty product, the choice of words representing the concept of beauty becomes the first concern. This study aims to examine the types of meaning of the words used in a beauty product advertisement. To interpret the lexical meaning in beauty product, the method used in this study is descriptive qualitative analysis on six beauty products, particularly the hand body lotion product by Nivea company. The data were analyzed through Leech theory. The result showed two types of meaning in the body lotion products, namely the denotative and connotative meanings. Denotation occurs more in all of the product compared to the connotative meaning.
