The study analyzes the codified spelling dictionaries of the Yakut language. The relevance of the work is due to the contradiction between the increased attention to the situation with spelling in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the lack of a scientifically based analysis of existing editions of Yakut spelling dictionaries. The aim of this article is to study the formation and development of spelling dictionaries of the Yakut language. Based on the aim, the following objectives are supposed to be reached: coverage of the history of orthographic lexicography of the Yakut language; determination of the development trend of spelling dictionaries in the 21st century. The novelty of the study lies in the fact that for the first time the spelling dictionaries of the Yakut language are studied from the standpoint of the theory and practice of compiling dictionaries, the principles of practical lexicography in the creation of Yakut spelling dictionaries are substantiated. The problem of the development and compilation of Yakut spelling dictionaries is considered. The results of the analysis and a brief description of the dictionaries are presented. The main differences between the dictionaries are investigated, the specific features of the reflection of words borrowed from Russian in Yakut spelling dictionaries of different years are highlighted in more detail. For modern Yakut spelling, the problem of spelling words borrowed from Russian has not yet been sufficiently reliably resolved. These difficulties are mainly due to the nature of the development of borrowed words in the language itself, their correlation and place in the vocabulary of the Yakut language. In the course of the study, glossaries of eight spelling dictionaries published in different years of the development of the Yakut literary language were studied. Particular attention is paid to the dictionary by P.A. Oyunsky as the first term-spelling dictionary. The features of the 2015 edition, whose purpose was to unify spelling norms and approve a single spelling regime to create optimal conditions for the functioning of the Yakut language as the state language in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), are characterized. The spelling dictionary of the Yakut language reflects a new trend in the spelling of words borrowed from Russian and somewhat increases the number of normative phonetized words. The spelling dictionaries of the Yakut language of the new period meet the requirements of the linguistic, cultural and social situation. The author declares no conflicts of interests.","PeriodicalId":41132,"journal":{"name":"Voprosy Leksikografii-Russian Journal of Lexicography","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67584095","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Morkovkin, G.F. Bogacheva, N.M. Lutskaya, 2016) in paper format. Phraseological units (henceforth PUs) as the content of the phraseological zone marked in the structure of the dictionary entry by a rhombus (◊) served as the basis for the study. The aim is to reveal features of the headword representativeness as a key structural-semantic component of the phraseological zone and determine the research potential of the phraseological array of the Dictionary. A wide projection of phraseography is one of the characteristics of the Dictionary’s universality. The phraseological zones of the Dictionary are represented as PUs with different degrees of idiomaticity, as well as nominative and communicative units with the capacity for reproducibility in an unchanged composition. This approach is justified by the expansion of the phraseological base in modern lexicographic projects. The structural-semantic multiplicity of the headword as a component of a PU determines the universality of the phraseological zone’s content representativeness. The use of “multipath” references to a variety of dictionary entries, how many components a PU has, determines the vector projection to a wider range of types of figurative nominations. At the same time, the phraseological definition is presented only in the structure of a single dictionary entry where the headword acts as a key structural-semantic component of a PU. In phraseological zones as part of a peculiar linguistic corpus of the Russian language, a set of PUs has many aspects. Optional lexical and variant components of PUs are indicated. Words a PU usually collocates with are given. There are notes indicating the expressive-stylistic and evaluative functions of a PU; grammatical notes describing some morphological properties of the lexical components of a PU. An interpretation/meaning of a PU, or a reference to the headword in which the content of the PU is considered, is given. If there is a semantic identity, synonyms are provided. The phraseological zone may contain examples of a PU’s uses in speech and commentaries of a cognitive nature. The phraseographic objectification of the receptivity of the lexicalsemantic variant of the headword is strongly represented by compound terms and names that objectify human discursive activity. Phraseological zones in the structure of entries in which homonymic units act as headwords can become one of the potential vectors of studying phraseology. A single presentation of a phraseological definition in the dictionary shows a typical situation/situations of using PUs and is a potential linguistic material for studies in the cognitivediscursive direction.","PeriodicalId":41132,"journal":{"name":"Voprosy Leksikografii-Russian Journal of Lexicography","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67584015","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The topicality of creating it is connected with the brisk growth of design activity, the branching out of a new training program, Design of Architectural Environment, and the absence of a linguistic terminological dictionary of this professional sphere. The aim of the article is to describe the conception of an ideographic dictionary of Russian architectural and design terminology. The dictionary is based on the special language of architecture and design selected from terminological reference books, educational materials and research literature, commercial catalogues, professional weblogs, websites, and e-commerce sites. The dictionary defines not only terms, but also terminoids, preterms and quasi-terms, and pays special attention to the foreign terminological units and neologisms. This is caused by the under-investigated functional lexis of the architectural environment design sphere, variability and movability of its concepts and terms. The research methods and techniques used in the study are: the lexicographical method with the research techniques of thematic (ideographic) arrangement, definition, componential and contextual analyses. The chosen type of an ideographic dictionary defined its marco-structure: it is represented by a system of thematic groups, subgroups and microgroups, contributes to the development of a holistic professional worldview, and facilitates work with the dictionary. The microstructure shows the content of a lexical entry including core and optional components as well as its design. The core components include the headword with its variants, their stresses and pronunciation features, information on the word’s grammar, its definition and examples of its usage in professional speech. The optional components (etymology, derivatives, terminological collocations with the headword, analogues, synonyms and illustrations) are used as supplementary characteristics of a lexical item if available. Definitions are made by the principle of generic, genetic, operational and contextual explanations with elements of encyclopedic information. The dictionary is intended for linguists, terminologists, students and teachers of the disciplines of the Design of the Architectural Environment training programs, and is of interest to professionals in this field","PeriodicalId":41132,"journal":{"name":"Voprosy Leksikografii-Russian Journal of Lexicography","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67584138","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Ganitcheva","doi":"10.17223/22274200/24/3","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.17223/22274200/24/3","url":null,"abstract":"The research is relevant because it is necessary to make a lexicographic description of the local speech content, which is collected on the territory of the historical Belozerye. The materials collected on this territory are available in various dialect dictionaries, but so far they have not been studied as a whole lexico-semantic system. To solve this problem, in 2019-2021, we created an electronic multimedia system: The Dialect of the Northern Village (www.borbushino.vogu35.ru). It presents the results of the study of the dialect of the Borbushino village in Kirillovsky District of Vologda Oblast - one of the rural settlements of this territory. This study lasted for more than thirty years. The key problem solved in the framework of this article is the understanding of the prospects for using the materials of the Dialect of the Northern Village electronic resource in the practice of creating various dialect dictionaries. The aim of the work is to characterize the existing experience of lexicographic descriptions of the dialect system in the format of an electronic resource, as well as to comment on the prospects of including the materials we collected in the format of a morphemic and word-formation dictionary, a dictionary of a language personality, and a thematic ethnolinguistic dictionary. The objectives of the work are: (1) to characterize the local speech content presented in the electronic multimedia system; (2) to describe our experience in creating a differential explanatory dictionary of Cyrillic dialects; (3) to consider the prospects of including the materials we have collected in dialect dictionaries of other purposes, types and structures. The material for the study was more than 250 texts recorded from the words of dialect speakers or presented in their own memoir records, as well as more than 30,000 microtexts illustrating the contextual use of the lexical set we are studying. The material was collected by the method of conversation according to the questionnaire program of the Lexical Atlas of Russian Folk Dialects, as well as according to the authors’ programs focused on the collection, classification and analysis of the derived vocabulary of the dialect. As a result, we have concluded that the collected materials can form the basis of a morphemic and word-formation dictionary, an ethnolinguistic dictionary representing the information of the thematic spheres “Nature”, “Man”, “Material Culture”, “Spiritual Culture”, as well as a dictionary of the language personality of Nikolai Pavlovich Shabrov, a native of the Borbushino village. The Dialect of the Northern Village electronic multimedia system (www.borbushino.vogu35.ru) is already used in the practice of research and educational work, and the creation of various dialect dictionaries based on it will make this work more concrete and effective. Golev","doi":"10.17223/22274200/21/1","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.17223/22274200/21/1","url":null,"abstract":"The article develops the idea formulated by Olga Iosifovna Blinova, professor of Tomsk State University, according to which lexicography is one of the methods of studying vocabulary. The material of the study included: (1) theoretical works by Olga Blinova, (2) her lexicographic works, (3) lexicographic experiments of the author of the article and their theoretical understanding, (4) works of other authors on related issues. The main research method used in the article is a comparison of concepts and principles of their implementation in different authors to identify the features of Blinova’s lexicographic theory and practice. The author interprets lexicographizing of a word as a specific approach to the description of its semantics, as a way of its modeling, which consists in its discretization – transformation of continuous semantic space of the language into notional quanta, clots of meaning. In the study, this method is contrasted with other methods of language modeling found in applied language descriptions: in the methods of language teaching, in translation and in compilation of computer programs on a linguistic basis in particular. Much attention is paid to the concept of lexical parameterization, which occurs in the process of lexicographic modeling of the semantic reality of the language. The most important principle of semantics modeling is the parameterization of the meaning of a word and vocabulary in general. The article discusses the features of parameterization in explanatory dictionaries against the background of their opposition to other types of dictionaries: encyclopedic, motivational dictionaries, dictionaries of everyday interpretations of words and frequency dictionaries. To identify these features, the definitions of words in explanatory and encyclopedic dictionaries are analyzed. Such important trends in modern lexicography as overcoming the absolutization of the discreteness of semantics and its simplified definition are analyzed. The article explores the tendency of lexicography to an antropocentric modeling of semantics in dictionaries, a particular manifestation of which is the representation of the content of a word as a conceptual content. In more detail, the article highlights the specifics of the motivational dictionary – one of the main lexicographic works by Blinova, who developed the concept of this type of dictionary and implemented it in practice by creating the Motivational Dialect Dictionary. The final section of the article analyzes Blinova’s idea about the possibility of implementing a project of a complex dictionary, in which the meaning of each word is considered in the mirror of a set of parameters which together give a systematic idea of the functioning, semantics and linguistic connections of the word. The article draws conclusions about the role of Blinova’s theoretical heritage for semasiology, dialectology and lexicography of the Russian language.","PeriodicalId":41132,"journal":{"name":"Voprosy Leksikografii-Russian Journal of Lexicography","volume":"135 3 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67583537","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The resource pursues the goal of the most complete lexicographic portraiture of the lexical meaning that contains pragmatic semantics (ideological, gender, national-cultural and emotional-evaluative). The macrostructure of the Database, criteria for the formation of the glossary, ways of interpreting the pragmatic content are described in the works of the participants in the lexicographic project E.G. Basalaeva, E.Yu. Bulygina, T.A. Tripolskaya. The material of the research is emotional-evaluative vocabulary (mrak, mychat’ (about human speech), vkalyvat’, uzhas, balbes, nytik, myam-lya, etc.) in need of special stylistic (colloquial, vernacular, rude, everyday, etc.) quali-fication. The authors relied on definitional, component and corpus analysis in the study. The study of the main explanatory dictionaries of the Russian language from the stand-point of the placement and correlation of stylistic and semantic labels allows obtaining the following information: 1) about lexicographic traditions relevant to the development of a new dictionary resource; 2) about possible dynamic processes in the field of stylis-tically marked vocabulary; 3) about the hybrid nature of stylistic and semantic labels: in some cases, stylistic labels (without emotional-evaluative ones) are designed to com-bine information about the sphere of use and emotional-evaluative semantics; and sometimes semantic labels, for example, contemptuous or abusive, serves as an indica-tor of colloquial or vernacular use. One of the primary tasks in the lexicography of these lexemes is the development of a possibly consistent system of stylistic and semantic labels. In the Database of Pragmatically Marked Vocabulary, the authors pro-pose to use semantic and stylistic labels in parallel in relation to each other. The created Database makes it possible to present a lexicographic portrait of a pragmatically marked word, the presence and interaction of pragmatic microcomponents, their dy-namics manifested in modern communication. Thus, the article analyzes the systems of vocabulary labels. The stylistic and semantic (emotional-evaluative) labels have been correlated, considering the seme and semantic variation of a pragmatically marked word; the algorithm for the lexicographying of emotional-evaluative semantics, which determines the stylistic characteristics of a word, has been developed.","PeriodicalId":41132,"journal":{"name":"Voprosy Leksikografii-Russian Journal of Lexicography","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67583228","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
