Abstract

The dictionary contains over 1,300 winged words and expressions. They go back to the texts and speeches of our contemporaries, as well as to the works of the past that have become widespread. Many expressions are fixed in the dictionary for the first time. Detailed interpretations and examples of use from fiction, journalism, films show all the semantic nuances and stylistic features of winged phrases. Each dictionary entry contains rich source study and bibliographic material. For the first time in lexicographic practice, typical transformations of winged expressions in speech are determined and interpreted. The book is intended for those teaching and learning Russian, as well as for those interested in the issues of literature, culture, politics and their influence on our life.
