In the proposed method, a grid division is first performed on the possible interval of parameters. Then, each group of values is set as the parameter values of the NRSFM-RIKs algorithm to estimate the 3D coordinates of feature points. Finally, the estimated 3D coordinates are integrated, and used as the final estimations. The experimental results on several widely used sequences demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.","PeriodicalId":408041,"journal":{"name":"Fifth International Conference on Intelligent Control and Information Processing","volume":"118 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115032829","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

When tying the separated components at each signal blocks, the original source signals can't be recovered correctly because of the inherent permutation, amplitude and phase ambiguities of BSS. Inspired by the permutation method for separated source signal blocks in time domain, a new approach is proposed to eliminate the ambiguities by artificially setting contrast blocks for each adjacent mixing signal blocks. The separated signal waveform difference in time domain between contrast and corresponding adjacent blocks is utilized to adjust the permutation and scaling parameters. This new method is similar in spirit to the separation and reconstruction method for the mixing and long duration communication signals, but differs in the fact that it is more efficient in terms of computational speed than the latter, which is significantly striking with large number of sources and signal blocks. Furthermore, when the block size and corresponding length of overlapping signals are chosen appropriately, this new method is more efficient than the permutation method in terms of separation quality and computational speed. Realistic experiments based on the wireless communication system validate the performance of this new method, together with corresponding comparison and analysis performed.","PeriodicalId":408041,"journal":{"name":"Fifth International Conference on Intelligent Control and Information Processing","volume":"295 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116223173","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The optimal band selection is one of the key problems in bandwidth synthesis. In this paper, the mathematical model of the band selection is established, and the essence of optimal band selection is pointed out, and the optimal band selection algorithm is studied. Aiming at the shortcoming of the conventional method, the genetic algorithm and simulated annealing algorithm are respectively used, and finally a new band selection method based on the genetic simulated annealing algorithm is proposed, combining the two algorithms. Simulating experiments results show that the genetic simulated annealing algorithm is obviously better than the above three method, and has better robustness.","PeriodicalId":408041,"journal":{"name":"Fifth International Conference on Intelligent Control and Information Processing","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133251591","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, single image super resolution method using self-example-based method is proposed. Patch redundancy cross-scale images is fully considered and patch similarity in image pyramids is used to improve the image resolution. Also the local structural constraints with steering kernel regression for patch similarity are used in the image reconstruction. For avoiding over-smoothing the structure of image, an automatic metric is presented to preserve the structure better. The patch self-similarity and local structure regularity in the image pyramids are combined to get the high resolution image. The results show that the proposed method has higher quality as compared to other state-of-art super resolution methods.","PeriodicalId":408041,"journal":{"name":"Fifth International Conference on Intelligent Control and Information Processing","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131099422","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) is the largest residential electricity user in house. Therefore, controlling the operation of HVAC is an effective method to implement DR in residential sector. The algorithms proposed in literature are single objective optimization algorithms that only minimize the electricity cost and could not quantify the user's comfort level. To tackle this problem, this paper proposes a comfort level indicator, builds a multi-objective scheduling model, and presents a multi-objective optimal control algorithm for HVAC based on particle swarm optimization (PSO). The algorithm controls the operation of HVAC according to electricity price, outdoor temperature forecast, and user preferences to minimize the electricity cost and maximize the user comfort level simultaneously. The proposed algorithm is verified by simulations, and the results demonstrate that it can decrease the electricity cost significantly and maintain the user comfort level effectively.","PeriodicalId":408041,"journal":{"name":"Fifth International Conference on Intelligent Control and Information Processing","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130517093","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper presents a robust real-time video stabilization algorithm applying fast block matching and an improved kalman filter. Key block picking and hierarchical searching improve the efficiency of the motion estimation section to make the method available for real-time application, meanwhile the proposed improved kalman filter outstands by preserving the initiative camera scanning while removing unwanted jitters properly at the same time adaptively. There are no efficiently solutions using traditionally approaches to solve the non-linear portfolio optimization problem. And the previous models based on expected return-variance cannot meet the needs of the investors. In this paper, firstly, we present a semi-variance model which including cardinality constraints. The return per unit of risk is the key factor to determine an investment decision and the extended model includes two sets of constraints: bounds on holdings, cardinality. The first set of constraints guarantee that the amount invested (if any) in each asset is between its predetermined upper and lower bounds. The cardinality constraint ensures that the total number of assets selected in the portfolio is equal to a predefined number. Secondly, in order to solve the nonlinear optimization model, an improved artificial bee colony algorithm (IABC) is designed. In addition, several numerical examples are given to illustrate the modelling idea and the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.","PeriodicalId":408041,"journal":{"name":"Fifth International Conference on Intelligent Control and Information Processing","volume":"140 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127512928","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The method consists of two stages. In the first stage, a ring projection method is applied to convert 2D image patches into ID vectors, based on which a rotation-invariant similarity measure is designed. In the second stage, a template matching process based on OC is performed on a limited number of candidates selected by applying the similarity measure, leading to the high computational efficiency. The experimental results indicate that the matching accuracy of the proposed algorithm is superior to RPT and OC method.","PeriodicalId":408041,"journal":{"name":"Fifth International Conference on Intelligent Control and Information Processing","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129892156","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Specifically, the mathematic model group (MMG) ship motion model is used to establish the ship sub-model for estimation of scale parameters in the DQSD model. In order to identify the shape parameters of the DQSD model, the human reliability model is proposed to implement the novel human sub-model for ship navigators, whereby the variables of professional skill level, physical state, mental state and navigation environment disturbance are sufficiently considered as input states. As a consequence, the resultant DQSD model incorporated by ship dynamics and human performance sub-models could be able to realize analytical investigations on ship domains since the factors of ship, human and navigation environment are effectively quantized. Finally, systematic simulation studies and comparative analysis are conducted on three typical ships to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed DQSD model.","PeriodicalId":408041,"journal":{"name":"Fifth International Conference on Intelligent Control and Information Processing","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133517757","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We analyze the reason which resulting in the above circumstances and propose two models: coding efficiency and time. Their maximum errors are less than 5% and 2.7%, respectively. In practice, the coding system is expected to reduce coding time while improve coding efficiency as possible.
