The optimal band selection is one of the key problems in bandwidth synthesis. In this paper, the mathematical model of the band selection is established, and the essence of optimal band selection is pointed out, and the optimal band selection algorithm is studied. Aiming at the shortcoming of the conventional method, the genetic algorithm and simulated annealing algorithm are respectively used, and finally a new band selection method based on the genetic simulated annealing algorithm is proposed, combining the two algorithms. Abstract
