It is absolutely necessary to understand what is passengers´ perception of airport services in case an airport aspires to assess its handling services performance. Customer perspective in the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) method is an ideal tool to gather all data how passengers feel about airport handling and other hospitality processes at airports. This perspective, together with perspective of the internal processes and the perspective of learning and grow, are titled as ´forward-looking indicators´. The customer perspective delivers new, and a very specific view on measuring of airports´ vitality. This paper deals with BSC customer perspective when applied by airport managers as an essential part of their business strategies. Beside customer perspective’s specific features, this study describes effective research methods and results analysis, applicable in airports in line with the basis theoretical aspects of Balanced Scorecard method.","PeriodicalId":407599,"journal":{"name":"Acta Avionica Journal","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125663946","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In these years a quick technological advancement took place and caused the development of very primitive weapons to the present beyond the visual range or point-to-shoot capabilities of nowadays aircraft. Though aerial combat fundamentals remained very similar to those in the past, seasoned only by actual combat and exercises for training purposes. Although these standards remained almost untouched, the technological advancement in aircraft design and weapon systems is immense. This applies also to the fighter jet aircraft called F-16. The F-16 is one of the most widespread fighter jets ever produced, if not the most. It is important to improve the aircraft design and its systems for navigation, orientation, and maybe most importantly, its ‘weaponry and surrounding accessories.","PeriodicalId":407599,"journal":{"name":"Acta Avionica Journal","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130888262","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The basic theoretical background is elaborated in the article. Air transport has had to make significant technological developments to come to the state as we know it today. At the same time, a new regulation and measures must be adopted, which were then not previously necessary given the nature of the air transport in the past. The measures that have shaped the current state of air transport in Europe, also known as liberalization measures, have fundamentally affected the development of air transport in Europe, which has also affected other areas of the industry.","PeriodicalId":407599,"journal":{"name":"Acta Avionica Journal","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121650643","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Pressure is one of the key thermodynamic parameters which, first of all, suffers radical change within the flow passage of a gas turbine, on the other hand, there are several accessories like fuel and oil supply, in which the pressure of the working medium is essential. The measurement of this variable is therefore inevitable in data acquisition or engine control systems. The author shows the process of development of an advanced pressure signal acquisition card that fits into a modular electronic control system of a turbojet engine. The unit incorporates numerous experiences gathered with the previous generation of this module regarding power supply and integrated sensors as well. Furthermore, there are several innovations that enable a more efficient installation, data acquisition and built-in test possibilities. The most important difference is the 32-bit ARM Cortex-M0+ microcontroller which allows faster operation which allows the acquisition of more signals, including additional functions as thrust measurement, digital input/output handling and many others. The unit operation was thoroughly assessed using simulated and real operating conditions as well.","PeriodicalId":407599,"journal":{"name":"Acta Avionica Journal","volume":"76 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128593266","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The airlines alike the individual countries are introducing the measures intending to stop the COVID-19 pandemic spread. These measures might have a significant impact on the public health of the inhabitants. In the article, the authors assess the viral diseases spread by using mathematical modelling. The first general mathematical model includes the basic epidemiological parameters (basic reproductive number, incubation period, and population). The objective of this model is to explain the basic terms and processes during the transmission of viral diseases. The second mathematical model includes the data analysis of the COVID-19 virus spread in individual countries. The data source for this analysis is the World Health Organization (WHO). A unique protocol to measure viral diseases spread does not exist, hence, the data from this analysis cannot be comparable. Nevertheless, the research results might be useful for public health as well as for the life’s segments where the air traffic and airlines belong to.","PeriodicalId":407599,"journal":{"name":"Acta Avionica Journal","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125884994","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
