The incorporation of drones into medical and humanitarian actions has witnessed a significant advancement in recent years. The main purpose of drones for medical services is the fast delivery of various medical equipment and materials. Drones seem to be an ideal means for the creation of quick-access links between various medical facilities and people in need of assistance. Drones are ever more frequently deployed at disaster sites to facilitate search and rescue operations. As the drone deployment rate rises, the challenges and problematic issues are more apparent and the need for solutions more pronounced.","PeriodicalId":407599,"journal":{"name":"Acta Avionica Journal","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128751035","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

During maintenance, it is necessary to ensure a number of processes that follow each other and have an impact on the time and economy of the company's operation. Each process has its own time values and associated unit labor costs. These unit labor costs, together with the material, which often forms a separate component of invoices for the customer and is sometimes charged as a flat rate, generate profits for the vehicle maintenance organization.The pandemic disrupted all established and used conditions and learned procedures at work. The pandemic caused the processes to be suspended and workers in all spheres of industry to be more or less affected by pandemic commission orders to change their approach to work without these procedures being verified. Managers responsible for implementing individual steps from measures ordered by the commission or higher by the statutory body are faced with a difficult task. Due to the short time when it is necessary to accept and put the task into operation, it is sometimes not possible to avoid financial losses. Losses caused by staff or supply chain failures have a clear impact on evaluation indicators, either for the company as a whole or for individual departments.","PeriodicalId":407599,"journal":{"name":"Acta Avionica Journal","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130456959","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the first part of the article, the sensory systems, which have been used for many years are described. Attention is paid to the sensors using conventional principles of the detection of the objects. New modern sensory systems together with their principles used for the protection of the outdoor environment are also described. Other problem is that older sensory systems of spatial protection were focused on the security of properties and buildings without expecting any change position in the time. The article analyzes also new possibilities of protecting of the outdoor perimeter even in the situations when the borders of the areas of interest are only temporary or mobile. And as UAV systems have been used massively and often involve modern multisensory systems, the last part of the article describes current sensors, which have been currently used to detect the UAV systems and to to protect the area of interest.","PeriodicalId":407599,"journal":{"name":"Acta Avionica Journal","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125739186","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The tender was launched by the Institute of Transport Sciences Non-profit Ltd. (ITS) last December, and among the winners was the joint tender of the Mould Tech Systems Ltd., the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and the University of Public Service (UPS). The common research is focusing on the implementation of a special Vertical Take-Off and Landing Unmanned Aircraft System (VTOL UAS)-based meteorological support system which is to measure the lower parts of the atmosphere within the planetary boundary layer (PBL). The researchers of UPS are examining the legal issues of operational conditions, flight authorization, flight safety aspects concerning the identification of potential dangers, and the airworthiness issues and will formulate their recommendations. In this paper the authors introduce the numbers of issues that have to be solved in favour of the safe and legal VTOL UAS operation.","PeriodicalId":407599,"journal":{"name":"Acta Avionica Journal","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125716915","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Modeling and simulation in computer training to increase civil security are becoming particularly important for the development of today's society. Many simulator programs today allow the simulation of the influence of individual human factors and it is possible to apply this into model situations, which for safety reasons is difficult to test in real life. However, accurate and effective models of human behavior also indicate great potential in military and crisis management. At present, these methods can be used to simulate the behavior of isolated individuals and entities that have a major impact, for example, on the spread of various viral diseases, depending on several factors. These factors include population, geographical location, age group of the isolated and also social and cultural aspects, to which special space is devoted in this article. These factors can be used as inputs to the model for predicting the behavior of isolated groups of the population, on the basis of which it is possible to estimate in advance the spread of a possible epidemic, through various simulations.","PeriodicalId":407599,"journal":{"name":"Acta Avionica Journal","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131842148","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This leads to a reduction of fuel consumption which has also positive effect on emissions. One possibility how to reach this aim is to replace hydraulic and pneumatic system with an electrical power system. Because many on-board electrical loads are in the form of electrical drives, the special attention is given to electric motors and their electronic speed controllers / power converters. Furthermore, electric motors suitable for traction/propulsion are presented. Moreover, the various types of starter/generators suitable for on-board utilisation are compared in the paper.","PeriodicalId":407599,"journal":{"name":"Acta Avionica Journal","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129469374","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These are subsequently sent to the appropriate computer to processes them. Because the sensors are very often located in remote parts of the aircraft, their power and signal wires have to be quite long. Moreover, the large number of wires and conductors complicates the design of the aircraft, especially their placement and clamping in non-pressurized parts and near fuel tanks. For these reasons, it is more convenient to use sensors with own power supply and which use a wireless communication with a computer. Today, most of remotely located sensors use electrochemical voltage sources, however these have environmental and reliability issues. The solution is to use sensors that generate their own energy. This article points out the possibility of using on-board sensors with energy harvesting technology.","PeriodicalId":407599,"journal":{"name":"Acta Avionica Journal","volume":"75 6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128281172","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
