The article contains two main chapters - theoretical (general knowledge) and practical (simulated models - in different flight stages based on the dates from the AFM manual of the C560 XLS+ A/C type). The discussion evaluates the upcoming data and shows how the fuel price can change. The article's topic concerns meteorology, A/C type performance, and economy. Every part of the mentioned topic is important for a safe, fluent, and economical flight.","PeriodicalId":407599,"journal":{"name":"Acta Avionica Journal","volume":" 27","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138960789","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the basic elements that contribute to safety is the biological protection of the airport. The article aims to describe and explain how the biological protection of the military airport Sliač works. The main aim of protection is the create conditions to reduce the overall risk of bird strike or strike with other animals. It can be reached by the implementation of preventive active or passive methods. The objective of the study was to analyse negative sources which attract all kinds of animals. Based on the findings of the research, we can suggest and implement new methods of deterrence in the airport.","PeriodicalId":407599,"journal":{"name":"Acta Avionica Journal","volume":" 42","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138961163","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Only with a well-established security system with an authorization management system can an automated document management system (ADMS) achieve efficient operation. In its turn, the security system of the automated document management system is based on the developed security policy and risk management system. The paper considers the infrastructure of an automated document management system, methods for assessing risk levels, which determine the choice of security tools and determining the level of security for a hierarchical management system. The proposed research results have been tested in the functioning of security systems at airports with a hierarchical structure of process control.","PeriodicalId":407599,"journal":{"name":"Acta Avionica Journal","volume":" 48","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138962041","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

From its simple beginning to the more recent 5G and 6G technologies which are at various stages of development and applications, capable of entrenching the era of the Internet of Things (IoT), advancing Machine-to Machine (M-2-M) integration, and further revolutionizing the speed of seamless communication between smart devices. Significant advancements have also been achieved in the area of auxiliary technology interfaces incorporated into mobile communication systems such as the wireless LAN (Wi-Fi), Bluetooth, Infra-Red (IR), and sundry communication systems operating at the higher frequency bands of the electromagnetic spectrum. Against this backdrop, this work reviewed some communication systems highlighting their technology and developmental trends. Furthermore, it attempts to accurately forecast the probable direction of future advancements in communication systems, based on a painstaking trend and pattern analysis of the technological improvements of Bluetooth, Radar, and Wi-Fi technologies and some other communication systems in the past decade.","PeriodicalId":407599,"journal":{"name":"Acta Avionica Journal","volume":" 14","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138961220","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of this article is to assess the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the area of airport human resource management and on the international airport network. COVID-19 had an unprecedented impact not only on the capacity of international seats for passengers and the gross operating income of airlines from passengers but also on airport companies, which, due to the measures taken and in order to maintain their existence, had to lay off employees. In the beginning of this paper, we discuss the impact of the pandemic on the aviation industry, caused by travel restrictions and overall economic development. In the second part, we will assess the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the management of human resources of the Austrian airport company and the resulting complications for airport companies in recovering from the consequences of the pandemic. Based on the obtained information and data evaluation, we came to the conclusion that the use of outsourcing services is an advantageous solution in the field of recruiting missing human resources. The added value on the part of the airport company is high-quality, trained personnel ready to perform the work, without the need for additional financial and time investments, limiting the airport operation itself and personnel who are still struggling with a lack of time and manpower. The goal of the companies is to fulfill the contracts, maintain the flow of money, and have a good name both for passengers and for the general public and all interested parties. When determining a suitable strategy using legislative conditions, it is possible to achieve cost savings in the area of human resources and the main business activities of the company.","PeriodicalId":407599,"journal":{"name":"Acta Avionica Journal","volume":" 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138962643","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
