Abstract

The article's subject is a design and systems analysis of the General Electric F110 GE-129 turbofan engine, which will become a part of the Slovak Air Force's arsenal in 2024 as a propulsion system for the F-16 Block 70 fighter aircraft. The article's objective is to inform both professionals and the general public with fundamental knowledge on the design and systems of the engine as well as its development.
