The economic aspect is represented by calculations of the transport time and the total price for the fuel consumed. The ecological aspect is expressed in terms of the amount of released CO2 into the atmosphere. The comparison is carried out on a selected route, specifically from Brest in France to Hamburg, Germany. These two points were chosen because they are located at a sufficient distance from each other, close to the airport and the port. The model situation does not take into account the various airport, road or other similar transport charges. Only the distance calculated on suitable roads and routes and the fuel consumption of the means of transport during transport are be taken into account.","PeriodicalId":407599,"journal":{"name":"Acta Avionica Journal","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131976450","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The solution to this problem is very complicated mainly because UAVs have a limited load capacity as well as energy sources. Sensors that can be used to solve this task must meet the minimum weight and power requirements. We decided to use a stereo camera and a laser because of the requirements that we set up earlier. The size of the obstacle is determined by the SURF algorithm and the Harris detector.","PeriodicalId":407599,"journal":{"name":"Acta Avionica Journal","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127669220","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Besides research and developement purposes it offers a more practical study and experience for the aerospace engineering students. In this study the authors have accomplished a theoretical design of an additional fan stage to the original TS-21 engine. Based on the results of this study a decision can be made, whether the modification of the present device is worth or not. For supplementing this decision, a complex feasability study was carried out from a simple one-dimensional flow analysis through computational fluid dynamics and stress analysis of the mechanical parts. If the designed equipment will be manufactured, the resulting turbofan engine can be used to model large scale types for various research and educational purposes.","PeriodicalId":407599,"journal":{"name":"Acta Avionica Journal","volume":"72 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121783854","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim is to summarize the engineering view of the given issue and to inform about necessary steps for practical application of such a new sensor in the aircraft industry. The paper talks about the formation of composite samples necessary for tensile strength tests, the aim of which is to obtain material properties of composite materials. The obtained material properties of fiberglass samples are processed into graphical and tabular form. Subsequently, the material properties are used in the strength calculations of the prismatic beam, in which magnetic microwires are applied in the experimental part of the work. There are described in the submitted article two application of magnetic microwires as a stress monitoring sensors.","PeriodicalId":407599,"journal":{"name":"Acta Avionica Journal","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120898857","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Many international organizations such as EASA, ICAO or ICCT as well as aircraft operators put strong emphasis on improving aircraft fuel efficiency not only for economical but also for ecological reasons. It can be noticed that biggest improvements are achieved through implementation of new aircraft models and engines. Fuel consumption goals have been set by ICAO to achieve an annual improvement of 2% from year 2020 to 2050, however according to some experts this goal is probably is not going to be met as industry is lagging approximately 12 years behind this plan due to technological and economic reasons.","PeriodicalId":407599,"journal":{"name":"Acta Avionica Journal","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129836513","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
