The argument for the prohibition of its existence can also be found in various textual traditions, so that among Muslim scholars and intellectuals, there are almost no rejection regarding the prohibition. Therefore, the objects of art that are accommodated in Islamic traditions are limited to inanimate objects such as flowers and plants, which then give bring up to distinctive ornamental arts in the Islamic tradition. However, in the Prumpung Magelang area, there is a center for the andesite sculpture industry, with the majority of the carvers being devout Muslims. The gap that arises between the doctrine of the prohibition of statues on the one hand, and the existence of Muslim sculptors on the other is the main theme discussed in this study. Meanwhile, the approach used in this study uses the semiotic-communication concept initiated by Umberto Eco. As a consequence, this application raises the pros and cons among social media users, each of the ideas provides certain convincing arguments. Those who competing the use of such app use a thematic hadith about taṣwīr to support their arguments. This library studies discusses the hadith being used by the contending voice of the faceapp, that is the taṣwīr hadith. The result shows that the use of hadith taṣwīr for the bases of the refusal of faceapp is not connected to the principle of the hadith idea, that is changing faces become older or younger to personal photos. In addition to the fact that none of the majority of scholars concerned with the photos. The author found three significance conclusions in the hadith: The first is the device to always worship God with full obedience and make distance from all forms of shirk. The second reason is to always instill the nature of laughter in the heart, which is to humble yourself before God and consider all strength and greatness only belongs to God. This tradition still raise questions in the aspect of dalil that forms the basis for the practice. However, people still practice this tradition because in their opinion it is in accordance with the hadith and the understanding of the fiqh scholars in kitab kuning. This study aims to find out the argument for the implementation of the tradition and how it is practiced in the society. Qualitative research with a living hadith approach is used to reveal the practice of this tradition. In addition to conducting a literature review, the interview method was also used to collect data. The results showed that the practice of tulak breuh in Manyak Payed district, Aceh Tamiang regency was assumed to be a way to accommodate the fidyah shalat for people who died. The procedure is to refuse rice (tulak breuh) which is placed on a wheeled place that allows it to be shifted from one person to another until it reaches the number of fidyah shalat left behind. This tradition has been practiced for generations and run consistently. From the side of the argument, the hadith mauqūf from Ibn 'Abbas ra. used as the basis for implementation. Tulisan ini mengkaji kitab karya Imam Ibnu Kaṡīr tersebut dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif-analitis dan pendekatan studi analisis kitab (baḥṡu al-kutub) untuk mengetahui bagaimana metode penulisan dan karakteristik kitab al-Nihāyah fī al-Fitan. Apa kelebihan dan kekurangan kitab tersebut. Artikel ini menemukan bahwa; pertama, Metode penulisan kitab al-Nihāyah fī al-Fitan ini tidak sistematis, pembahasannya saling membaur meski dengan tingkat yang tidak begitu besar, dan tidak ada tanda khusus yang membedakan topik pembahasan. Kedua, Karakteristik kitab al-Nihāyah fī al-Fitan tergolong kitab hadis yang ciri utamanya menyertakan matan berikut sanadnya. Ketiga, Kelebihan kitab ini adalah Penggunaan kitab hadis yang mu’tabar sebagai referensi utama sedangkan kekurangannya yaitu peletakan judul dan sub judul tidak sistematis. A tradition that develops in society is sometimes motivated by a number of factors, whether influenced by the environment, culture and conditions of the community Likewise with the attitude of tradition that exists in the community, sometimes in certain societies the tradition is rejected outright, but in other communities it can be well received. This article will try to explore the meaning of the Ngapati tradition in Deresan Village, Ringinharjo, Bantul, Yogyakarta through the study of living Hadith approaches. The context of the community of Deresan Village is a friendly and open society with a variety of traditions, including the Ngapati tradition, that is practiced in the village is the tradition carried out in descending manner with the intention of praying for the fetus when the fetus is four months old in the womb. For the Deresan community, the tradition was also carried out because it was based on the traditions of the hadith. The Ngapati tradition has become a legacy of generations in human history. Yang dimaksud dengan al-jabr dan al-tarqiyah di sini adalah mendatangkan jalur periwayatan lain untuk hadis mursal yang hukumnya lebih kuat. Para ulama hadis sepakat bahwa hadis dhaif, yang kelemahannya ringan, seperti sū’ ḥifz perawi, atau terputusnya sanad, seperti hadis mursal yang hilang seorang perawi sesudah sahabat, atau hadis yang diriwayatkan oleh perawi yang tidak diketahui ‘adālahnya dapat di naikkan derajatnya menjadi hasan li ghairihi. Alasan memilih kitab Faḍāil Qurān adalah karena banyak sekali hadis-hadis yang berhubungan dengan topik tersebut adalah dhaif, terlebih lagi dari kumpulan hadis Muṣannif ‘Abd al-Razzāq yang tidak mensyaratkan keshahihan dalam hadis- hadis kompilasinya. Dalam tulisan ini, penulis akan mendatangkan jalur periwayatan lain dari hadis mursal yang mursal juga dari jalur lain. Hal ini karena, hadis mursal sendiri saling menguatkan jika diriwayatkan dari jalur selain jalur mursil. Penulis juga akan mendatangkan riwayat yang bersambung dari jalur mursil, guna mengetahui perawi yang jatuh sesudah sahabat, adakah ia sahabat saja, atau sahabat dan tabiin. Sebagaimana penulis juga akan mendatangkan jalur periwayatan lain yang bersambung atau periwayatan sahabat lain.
