The method problem is fascinating because each science has its way of discussing its scientific material, including hadith. This article aims to analyze the uniqueness of the method applied in providing hadith studies to its students. This paper uses a qualitative method with a field research approach. The primary data sources include observations and interviews, and supporting data sources include essential literature related to hadith study methods. The results of this research show that the resource person at this Islamic boarding school provides a study of hadith using the tahlili method, the explanation of which combines the bi al-ma'tsūr (verses explained with hadith) and Bi ar-Ra'yi (hadith explained using Sundanese language and culture) methods). The book chosen is the secondary book Riyādh al-shālihīn. The process begins with tawasul to the Prophet Muhammad, his family, and friends. Then, the teacher translates the word mufradat, explains the meaning of the hadith, and analyzes it in the current context. The method taken by the kiai is, of course, based on the knowledge of the source or looking at the target object (the students). In providing explanations, the resource person added Sundanese advice and humor. This method is intended to make it easier for students to remember the basis of the content of the hadith.","PeriodicalId":407271,"journal":{"name":"Al-Bukhari : Jurnal Ilmu Hadis","volume":"112 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138999578","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this study, hadith is the subject and the main basis of discussion. The progress of Islamic civilization in the past has been an attraction for orientalists in studying Islam to subjugate Islamic civilization. This made hadith one of the targets of the orientalists' studies since it is one of the sources of Islamic epistemology. The skepticism of the early generation of orientalists claimed that hadith is a collection of anecdotes. This description will be explained using the library research method, focusing on the argumentation of orientalists in the phase of Western skepticism. The author analyses the data using content analysis. The author finds that there is a misunderstanding in the argumentation of the early generation of orientalists, and the argumentation is weak in terms of methodological and historical truth.","PeriodicalId":407271,"journal":{"name":"Al-Bukhari : Jurnal Ilmu Hadis","volume":"143 S270","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139006148","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Then, is Imam Shafi'I unjust and has many shadz and illat. From the statements of the scholars about Imam Shafi'I, that he is a Hadith expert. Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal stated that if it were not for Shafi'I, I would not know hadith. Understanding hadith is very important because hadith is the legal basis after the Qur'an, so its validity must be ensured, it is important to study the science of hadith or the blasphemy of a hadith, especially in this case the blasphemy of dhaif hadith, because hadith is the second source of law used by Muslims in determining or deciding a law. As intellectuals, we should show progress in the field of science, especially in the field of religion so that we don't make mistakes in implementing it in life. The purpose of this study is to explain the blasphemy of dhaif hadiths among muhaddisin scholars. The research method used is library research with data collection techniques through good documentation from books, journals, articles and other sources that discuss the blasphemy of dhaif hadiths. The findings of the research show that, in general, the scholars reject it as evidence and the scholars also agree to prohibit the narration of dhaif hadiths that are maudhu' without mentioning their willingness.
