The spiritual and religious concept of I. Ilyin’s optimism brings a new vision of the problem of human and his qualities into philosophy and pedagogy and is of scientific interest as a kind of program of spiritual stamina. The purpose of the study is to trace the genesis of the phenomenon of optimism in the spiritual and religious concept of I. Ilyin against the background of the evolution of his philosophical views; determine the spiritual and moral foundations of optimism within the framework of this concept; to determine the methods of formation of spiritually faithful optimism as a personality trait.\u0000\u0000Results. The spiritual and religious concept of I. Ilyin’s optimism manifests itself in the moral stamina of the individual, in conscious humility with what cannot be changed and in overcoming those difficulties that are within our power; it is the ability to recognize one’s life purpose and faithfully follow it throughout life, overcoming difficulties. It is the difficulties that act as steps to overcome them and on the way to the moral self-improvement of the individual. In the spiritual and religious concept of I. Ilyin, optimism acts in two ways: both as a gift (something innate) and as an art (something acquired) of self-empowerment, which is actualized during the period of overcoming difficulties. The article traces the evolution of I. Ilyin’s philosophical views: from understanding optimism as a moral will (in the traditions of German classical philosophy) to understand optimism as an effective overcoming of suffering and courage in the best traditions of Russian Orthodoxy. The harder and bleaker life is, the more in demand is optimism as the art of spiritual victory over the suffering and hardships of life, which carry a powerful emotional charge of spiritual purification, hardening, strengthening and strengthening.\u0000\u0000Discussion and Conclusion. For our research, it is especially valuable that optimism as a quality of a person, having both innate and acquired strength, can be brought up: by prayer, by inner (cordial contemplation), by emotional comprehension, by consolation, by distraction with joy. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of the state of food culture in the Russian Federation on the quality of life of people and assess its transformations (food supply and public catering) in modern conditions.\u0000\u0000Materials and Methods. The study used structural-functional and program-targeted approaches, methods of analysis, synthesis, generalizations and axiology, as well as historical-retrospective, historical-genetic and hermeneutical methods for studying problematic issues of modern food culture in the Russian federation.\u0000\u0000Results. Various theoretical and methodological approaches to the formulation and solution of issues of the development of food culture in Russian science are identified and characterized. An assessment of the real state of the food problem in the country is given. The principles of the culture of public catering of the population are revealed. The position is substantiated that against the background of the achievement of the main quantitative indicators in solving the problem of food security of the Russian Federation, the task of guaranteeing the necessary quality of food and creating a reliable system of food supply for citizens has become on the agenda. To do this, it is proposed to eliminate the legislative conflict related to the fact that the provisions of the Federal Law “On the Quality and Safety of Food Products” dated March 01, 2020 do not directly apply to relations arising between suppliers of food products and organizations providing public catering services. A proposal has been formulated on the advisability of developing and adopting a special Federal Law “On the organization of catering for the population in the Russian Federation”.\u0000\u0000Discussion and Conclusion. On the basis of different scientific concepts (A. A. Kaufman,\u0000\u0000A. F. Fortunatov, A. V. Chayanov, M. F. Shcherbina, A. A. The world order today is experiencing serious overloads and is undergoing g significant structural transformations related to the security sphere. Challenges and threats are becoming increasingly multi-layered. One of the most relevant and complex among them is the “hybrid warfare”, the content and essence of which continues to be actively discussed. In modern conditions, it poses a significant danger not only directly for Russia, but also for a fundamentally important integration format – the Union State of Belarus and Russia. The purpose of the study is to determine the specifics of the perception of a “hybrid warfare” against the Union State of Belarus and Russia and its member countries in the context of trends in the evolution of the current geopolitical situation and Russian – Belarusian integration.\u0000\u0000Methods. The research is based on situational and system analysis. The methods of traditional and formalized study of documents, comparative analysis, and political diagnostics were used.\u0000\u0000Results and Discussion. The features of the “hybrid warfare” are revealed in theoretical and conceptual terms and in practical terms – in relation to the totality of actions of the collective West against the Union State. The general and distinctive points in the positions of representatives of the political community of the Union State are shown. The main manifestations of the “hybrid warfare” and the measures of response to them from Russia and Belarus have been identified.\u0000\u0000Conclusion. The negative consequences of the “hybrid warfare” for different levels of interaction of international actors are emphasized. The purpose of the article is to trace the history of the development of philosophical ideas and education at the Mordovia State University, starting from its formation in 1931 and ending with the contemporary period.\u0000\u0000Materials and Methods. The main methods are biographical analysis in its philosophical interpretation and comparative historical method.\u0000\u0000Results. The first part of the article is devoted to the history of philosophy education at the Mordovia State University, which is viewed through the prism of the biographies of the most famous philosophers who worked at the university – Y. D. Betyaev, M. M. Bakhtin, A. L. Kiselev, S. P. Spiridonov, R I. Alexandrova, A. I. Sukharev, V. I. Kemkin, A. A. Gagaev and others.\u0000\u0000The second part discusses the latest period in the development of philosophy at the university.\u0000\u0000Discussion and Conclusions. It is shown that by the end of the 1980s in the republic, original traditions of philosophizing developed and new philosophical schools were organized. In the context of the escalation of contradictions between Russia, Ukraine and Western countries, the growth of Russophobic tendencies, which are becoming a new trend in the foreign information space, it is necessary to strengthen the value foundations within the country, to form an active civic position, a sense of patriotism, especially among young people, who are the main bearer of social potential. For the development and implementation of effective programs of civic and patriotic education, it is important to measure value orientations and study the specifics of citizenship. Such studies are of particular relevance for young people, who are a strategic resource for the development of the state.\u0000\u0000Materials and Methods. The system, axiological and structural-functional approaches, the method of classification and generalization were used as the theoretical and methodological strategy of the study. The applied basis of the study was the questionnaire method, as a result of which 400 people were interviewed, including young people aged 18–35 years (150 people, including 71 men and 79 women). The basis for the selection of analysis units was gender.\u0000\u0000Results. The respondents identified among the dominant constructs: “good health”, “good family”, “material security”, “interesting job”, “good education”. The value of “the desire to benefit your country” has taken the middle place, which indicates a tendency to a passive civic position. Among the value dominates of Russian society, the values of a culture with a low power distance – “individualism”, “risk”, “self-realization” and at the same time a high distance – “strong power” prevail. The civic position was considered in the context of the attitude of youth to patriotism. Associations of patriotism with love for home, city, country, loyalty to national culture, traditions, and way of life prevail among the respondents.\u0000\u0000Discussion and Conclusion. Journalistic discourse implements one of its main functions – the function of influence and manipulation – by referring to various means of evaluation. In this case, any object or phenomenon of reality, as well as current events, can be evaluated.\u0000\u0000Materials and Methods. This work examines the evaluative lexical-semantic units that describe the attitude of the 46th President of the United States, J. Biden, to the events of 2020 associated with the Black Lives Matter protest movement. Practical material is selected from influential American news portals. Research methods include the continuous sampling method and the method of contextual analysis.\u0000\u0000Results. In the course of the study, components of an evaluative nature were selected. An analysis was given of the purpose of evaluative tools in a particular context, and the evolution of the attitude of the English-language media to the position of J. Biden in connection with the Black Lives Matter movement was traced.\u0000\u0000Discussion and Conclusion. Based on the results of the study, a conclusion was made about the significant role of the media in shaping public opinion. Motherhood is a cultural, socio-psychological and physiological phenomenon. Motherhood contributes to changing the social and psychological status of a woman, actualizes and optimizes the acquisition of important personal qualities that fall under the characteristics of the archetype of the mother or its reverse or shadow side – the archetype of the stepmother. The gradual disintegration of the institution of the family and socially “legalized” intimate relationships between young people of reproductive age, along with the postponement of the age of birth of a child in a couple, leaves the position of an adult not actualized, leaves young people in an infantile position for an indefinite period. The traditional rites of age-related initiation into the maternal position have now turned out to be unclaimed. In our culture there is a shortage of social and cultural institutions, traditions, rituals of conversion to motherhood.\u0000\u0000Methods. The research materials were psychological, philosophical, sociological, socio-cultural works that form the methodological basis of motherhood and the cultural and historical roots of the folk doll as a cultural and historical symbolism of the image of motherhood in preschoolers, the archetypal symbolism of motherhood, folk toys in culture from the standpoint of Junginian analytical psychology.\u0000\u0000Results. Archetypal female images, including the image of motherhood, are widely represented in the form of conscious and unconscious manifestations, spontaneous reproduction of traditions in the symbolism of folk dolls. The symbolism of folk dolls immerses a private immersion in the element of the “original” and gives through it a holistic image of motherhood. A folk toy is one of the forms of folk culture. It is the folk toy that symbolically conveys to the child the culture, wisdom and spirituality of its folk, being the information carrier of the folk tradition.\u0000\u0000Discussion and Conclusion. A traditional folk doll translates the traditional image of motherhood. The folk rag doll allows to reduce the psychological tension between the child and the surrounding reality, the soft and warm to the touch doll’s body brings up a warm and trusting attitude to the outside world. Today, interdisciplinary approaches blur the boundary between verbal and visual narratives, newsreels, photo and audio documents are actively used in historical research, theoretical and methodological issues of source analysis of audiovisual resources are discussed in historiography. Unlike documentaries, feature films capture and broadcast not so much historical realities as people’s attitudes towards them. Cinema is an actor of social processes: it not only reflects, but also creates historical ideas about a specific event, time, era, etc. The purpose of the work is to identify and demonstrate the relationship between the attitude of society to a local war and its image in feature cinema. Due to the specifics of the source in this study, the methods of historical analysis are supplemented by methods of visual research (structural-functional and semiotic analysis of films, analysis of reviews, film festivals, etc.).\u0000\u0000Results. Films about the Korean conflict, created in Hollywood from 1950 to 1981, served as the material. Their comparative analysis was carried out, the ideological background was determined, the main plots, themes, the system of characters, visual means were identified. All these aspects represent the attitude of American society towards the war in Korea.\u0000\u0000Discussion and Conclusion. Since cinema is not only an art, but also a media industry, it is associated with many social processes and has the ability to effectively influence people. The problem of spirituality is one of the topical in science and very important in practice. The article is devoted to the analysis of the concept in spiritual experience, developed by the famous Russian philosopher I. A. Ilyin.\u0000\u0000Materials and Methods. I. A. Ilyin considers spiritual reality as an integral part of the world, which every person inevitably has to face as an ontological basis for the need in spiritual experience. It has special properties that are inaccessible to sensory-empirical knowledge. Therefore, it cannot be detected using traditional methods of cognition and described using the usual categories of analysis of the material world. In order, to discover and comprehend it, special “spiritual organs – evidence, conscience, sense of justice, artistic vision, love” are required [6, p. 102]. Spiritual reality appears to a person in the form of subjective phenomena: moral, aesthetic, intellectual experiences. But this does not deny the fact of its existence.\u0000\u0000Conclusion. I. A. Ilyin has convincingly proved this in his works. A necessary condition for comprehending spiritual reality is the spiritual being of a person. As one gains spiritual experience, a cardinal change of a person takes place, his transformation into a “spiritual personality”. Spiritual experience is not innate, but every normal person is predisposed to assimilate it. It depends on himself, since the spiritual experience is perceived personally. Other people can create the necessary conditions for this, but they cannot replace the subject. The modern education system is incapable of forming genuine spiritual experience in the younger generation. I. A. The practical significance of the anthropological concept of the sacred books of world religions is outlined. Four issues are identified, due to which the system of ideas of a concept of a person is reflected in the sacred text, and which are relevant in modern society.\u0000\u0000Materials and Methods. The object and subject of research are determined, and the main sources on which the research is based are indicated. The main methods are textological, historical hermeneutics, descriptive and comparative historical analysis.\u0000\u0000Results. The objects of analysis in relation to the Buddhist concept of man are the categories of “samadhi”, “insight”, the doctrine of the five virtues developing in the process of meditation, the doctrine of the essence of the five skandhas. It is shown the influence of these categories on the specifics of solving the main ideological problem – the attitude of a person to the world. In considering the biblical concept of man, the concept of “life” is defined as the key one. The subject of the analysis was the inconsistency of man’s position in the world. It is also shown the importance of ethical teaching for the study of contradictory human nature and determination of the purpose of man. When analyzing the views on the problem of man contained in the Koran, the significance of the idea of human creation and the key importance of the idea of obedience to Allah in understanding the way of life and the system of ethical norms and principles are shown.\u0000\u0000Discussion and Conclusion. The difference in approaches to the interpretation of the problem of a person in the Tripitaka, the Bible and the Koran is reflected. In Buddhism, the development of supra-natural “subtle principles” through the practice of meditation leading a person to nirvana comes to the fore. In the Christian concept, the fundamental is the idea of the dualism of human existence and the salvation of the soul. Islam develops the concept of initial unconditional obedience to Allah. It is shown the ratio of key categories and ideas related to understanding a person in Buddhism, Christianity and Islam.
