Simić, Jozo Vela","doi":"10.31745/S.71.6","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.31745/S.71.6","url":null,"abstract":"This\u0000paper deals with textual transmission in pre-Tridentine Croatian Glagolitic\u0000missals and breviaries. Previous research has demonstrated that northern\u0000(Krk-Istria) codices follow earlier translations from Greek, whereas southern\u0000(Zadar-Krbava) codices have been adjusted to Latin exemplars. However, this\u0000differentiation is not clear-cut – certain codices are recognised as a\u0000combination of the northern and southern group. The paper addresses the\u0000inability to establish a stemma codicum, explaining this through both the\u0000high loss rate of Croatian Glagolitic codices and horizontal textual\u0000transmission (the usage of more than one exemplar). Further insight into the\u0000given topic is provided through discussion of the types of Glagolitic scribes\u0000(simple scribe, scholar-scribe, redactor-like scribe, and redactor-scribe) and the\u0000determinants of their work, the most prominent of which is the absence of\u0000authorial authority. The core of the paper is the study of little chapters as texts\u0000shared between breviaries and missals. Data analysis suggests the two\u0000liturgical books share a common origin, and that each was likely used as a\u0000source for the other. Moreover, data analysis also broadens the notion of the polygenetic origin of Croatian\u0000Glagolitic books, which should be understood not only in terms of successive contaminations,\u0000but simultaneous contaminations as well. Both types of contamination are\u0000sometimes extra-stemmatic, which means that different kinds of sources were\u0000used by Glagolitic scribes during copying (including older Glagolitic missals\u0000and breviaries, other Church Slavonic books such as the Prophetologion or Apostolos,\u0000and personal memory). {"title":"Притчи Соломонови във Втория берамски бревиар","authors":"Iskra Hristova Shomova","doi":"10.31745/S.71.2","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.31745/S.71.2","url":null,"abstract":"В статията са разгледани две четива от Притчи Соломонови (1,1–9 и 3,13– 20), поместени във Втория берамски бревиар, в съпоставка с три\u0000глаголически и три кирилски средновековни източника: Първи Връбнички бревиар от ХІІ-ХІІІ в., Хървоев мисал от началото на ХV в., Чешка глаголическа библия от 1416 г., Григоровичев паримейник от ХІІ в., ръкопис от РНБ F .І.461 от ХІV в., Острожка библия от 1591 г. От сравнението се вижда, че между\u0000гръцкия и латинския текст на тези четива има разлики както на синтактично, така\u0000и на лексикално равнище. В първото четиво двата хърватски бревиара най-често\u0000следват синтаксиса на латинския текст, като запазват лексиката от ранния\u0000(Кирило-Методиев) превод от гръцки. Във второто четиво между двата хърватски\u0000бревиара има повече и по-значителни разлики. Първият връбнички бревиар сдържа\u0000стария превод от гръцки почти без промени и съвпада с кирилските източници, а\u0000във Втория берамски бревиар и Хървоевия мисал текстът съответства на\u0000латинския синтактично и по дължина, но в повечето случаи се пази старата\u0000Кирило-Методиева лексика. Прави впечатление голямата текстова близост между\u0000двата хърватски паметника (Втория\u0000берамски бревиар и Хървоевия мисал).\u0000Трите кирилски текста съвпадат почти напълно и очевидно възхождат към един и\u0000същ древен превод (Кирило-Методиевия). Based on findings and evidence from fifty interviews conducted in Armenia and t he diaspora, in conjunction with mobility research analysis, this paper explores the changes Armenian society has undergone since the 1990s and how shifts in world politics reflect on the country's reconnection with its European bonds. The general question is whether the new generation of Armenians identifies itself more closely with Russian or European society. Pelc","doi":"10.31745/s.70.3","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.31745/s.70.3","url":null,"abstract":"Ugledna talijanska povjesničarka knjige s oksfordskog sveučilišta, Cristina Dondi, objavila je 2016. opsežnu monografiju o časoslovima Blažene Djevice Marije tiskanima u Italiji do 1500. godine (DONDI 2016). U tom iscrpnom pregledu ranih tiskanih oficija u Italiji opisano je i nekoliko izdanja koja se više ili manje izravno tiču hrvatske kulturne sredine toga vremena. Autorica je opisala i tiskane oficije objavljene u štamparijama dvojice tiskara hrvatskoga podrijetla: Andrije Paltašića u Veneciji i Dobrića Dobrićevića (Boninus de Boninis) u Veroni. Na te ćemo se tiskane oficije, slabo poznate hrvatskoj stručnoj publici, detaljnije osvrnuti u uvodnom dijelu ovoga rada. Težište razmatranja bit će, međutim, na časoslovima Dobrića Dobrićevića, tiskanima u Lyonu, a posebice na njihovoj likovnoj opremi. Naime, Dobrićević je 1481. u Veroni, koliko je poznato, tiskao prvi oficij uopće ilustriran drvorezima, da bi poslije Lyonu objavio još tri izdanja oficija ilustrirana u »francuskom« stilu, kojega su značajke prihvatili i neki venecijanski tiskari tog vremena. On je prepoznatljiv i u likovnoj opremi tzv. {"title":"Notes on the History of Turkish Literature from the Tanzimat (1839) to the “Revolution of the Letters” (1928)","authors":"L. Mignon","doi":"10.46298/SLOVO.2020.6144","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.46298/SLOVO.2020.6144","url":null,"abstract":"International audience\u0000 \u0000 Turkish literary historiography seems to have espoused the definition of “Turkishness”, established at the time of independence in 1923, which regarded as Turkish any person of Muslim faith residing within the borders of the country, regardless of their ethnic origin and mother tongue, and has imposed it retrospectively on the multicultural world of Ottoman Turkish literature. Indeed, non-Muslim authors writing in Turkish have been excluded from the history of literature. However, as is highlighted in the first part of this article, many exchanges took place between the Turkish Muslim intelligentsia and non-Muslim Turkish-speaking intellectuals. Addressing the issue of minor literature in the Ottoman context, the second part presents Armeno-Turkish, Karamanli Turkish, Judeo-Turkish and Syro-Ottoman literatures in dialogue with Ottoman Turkish literary culture. Noting that non-Muslim writers writing with the Perso-Arabic alphabet are also largely absent from literary histories, the article addresses in the third part the impact of the “revolution of the letters”, the adoption of the Latin alphabet in 1928. This contributed not only to the occultation of the minor literatures of Ottoman Turkey, but also to that of women’s and popular literatures as well as of the Turkish Ottoman progressive tradition.\u0000 \u0000 \u0000 L’historiographie littéraire turque semble avoir épousé la définition de la « turcité », établie au moment de l’indépendance en 1923, qui considérait comme turque toute personne de confession musulmane résidant à l’intérieur des frontières du pays, quelles que soient son origine ethnique et sa langue maternelle, et l’avoir imposé rétrospectivement au monde multiculturel des lettres turques ottomanes. En effet, les auteurs turcophones non musulmans ont été exclus de l’histoire de la littérature. Or, comme est mis en exergue dans la première partie de cet article, de nombreux échanges ont existé entre l’intelligentsia turque musulmane et les intellectuels non musulmans turcophones. Abordant la question de la littérature mineure en contexte ottoman, la deuxième partie présente les littératures arméno-turque, turque karamanli, judéo-turque et syro-ottomane en dialogue avec la culture littéraire turque ottomane. Notant que les auteurs non musulmans écrivant avec l’alphabet perso-arabe sont également largement absents des livres d’histoire de la littérature, l’article aborde dans la troisième partie l’impact de la « révolution des lettres » : l’adoption de l’alphabet latin en 1928. {"title":"About the reception of Sorana Gurian’s literary work in Romania","authors":"Tomas Krupa","doi":"10.46298/SLOVO.2020.6149","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.46298/SLOVO.2020.6149","url":null,"abstract":"Le cas de Sorana Gurian (1913-1956) permet d’examiner la situation d’une multiple exclusion au sein de la societe europeenne du xxe siecle : elle est a la fois femme, juive et etrangere, accusee d’espionnage et de collaboration, et son corps, handicape et touche par le cancer, devient le principal coupable de ce bannissement pluriel. L’auteure est une figure tragique : non seulement par sa vie, mais aussi par l’oubli dans lequel est tombee son œuvre – pourtant originale et reconnue a l’epoque –, comptant six volumes en roumain et en francais et des dizaines de publications dans la presse. Dans le present article, je propose une lecture de quelques chroniques litteraires portant sur deux editions de Gurian parues en Roumanie en 1945-1946 : Zilele nu se intorc niciodată [Les jours ne reviennent jamais] et Intâmplări intre amurg și noapte [Aventures entre crepuscule et nuit], qui temoignent de la maniere dont on percevait l’Autre, en l’occurrence une femme ecrivain, une femme infirme ou bien une femme d’origine juive au xxe siecle. Cette perspective a pour but de montrer les conditionnements autres qu’esthetiques (genre, corporalite, classe sociale, convictions politiques, origine ethnique, etc.) qui ont determine l’apparition et la disparition de Gurian sur la scene litteraire, et qui influencent toujours la maniere de percevoir ses textes en Roumanie. Dans mes recherches sur l’histoire de l’espace litteraire bulgare, l’un des points qui me semblent cruciaux parce qu’insuffisamment etudies est la question de la temporalite litteraire. Comment echapper au « centrisme ouest‑europeen » sans negliger le fait que Paris, Londres, Berlin, New York soient les « Greenwich litteraires » (Casanova) ? Comment mettre en perspective sans les comparer en termes d’« avance » ou de « retard » les temporalites de chaque espace litteraire au sein de l’espace mondial ? И в двете култури постмодерното мислене и поетика допринасят за разколебаването на традиционното схващане за канон и история на литературата. Тъй като дават предимство на диалога с чуждестранната литература, сръбските автори биват обвинявани, че обръщат гръб на националните литературни особености, които дотогава критиката традиционно е изтъквала. Българските писатели пък охотно се оглеждат в текстовете на първите български класици, като ги пренаписват в пародиен план с цел да разкрият литературната структура на националните митове. Така въпреки привидната несъвместимост между постмодернизъм и литературен канон техният сблъсък в последните десетилетия на xx век играе важна роля за преминаването към едно ново схващане за история на литературата, което повече от всякога се опира на принципите на полифонията и диалогичността.\u0000 \u0000 \u0000 By addressing the question of literary canon trough its dual constitutive and representative function with regard to national identity, the author questions the conceptual opposition on which the relations between postmodernism and canon are founded in Serbian and Bulgarian literatures. In both those cultures postmodern thought and poetics contribute to challenge the traditional understanding of canon and history of literature. Serbian authors are criticised for being more interested in dialogue with foreign literatures and thus turning away from the national specificities which were, till then, usually put forward by literary criticism. The Bulgarian writers, on the contrary, gladly look back at the texts of the first Bulgarian classics but they do so by rewriting them in a parodic way in order to reveal the literary structure of the national myths. However, despite the apparent incompatibility between postmodernism and literary canon, their encounter during the last decades of the twentieth century played a key role in moving towards a new concept of history of literature which relies more than ever on the principles of polyphony and dialogism.\u0000 \u0000 \u0000 En abordant la question du canon littéraire par sa double fonction constitutive et représentative à l’égard de l’identité nationale, l’auteur interroge l’opposition conceptuelle sur laquelle se fondent les rapports entre postmodernisme et canon dans les littératures serbe et bulgare.
